The Asbury United Methodist Church is a historic Methodist church on NH 63 in Chesterfield, New Hampshire. It has been termed the "mother church of Methodism in New Hampshire", and is home to the state's oldest continuously running Methodist congregation, organized in 1795. The building, constructed in 1844, is a prominent local example of Greek Revival architecture, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Spofford Lake is a 732-acre (2.96 km2) body of water in the town of Chesterfield in southwestern New Hampshire, United States. Water from Spofford Lake flows via Partridge Brook to the Connecticut River. In 2005 the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department named it the cleanest lake in southwestern New Hampshire, despite the amount of motor boating. The village of Spofford is located at the lake's outlet.

Pisgah State Park is a 13,300-acre (5,400 ha) public recreation area located in the Cheshire County towns of Winchester, Chesterfield and Hinsdale in New Hampshire. It is the largest state park in New Hampshire and contains a complete watershed north of the Ashuelot River, seven ponds, four highland ridges, numerous wetlands, and a 20-acre (8 ha) parcel of old-growth forest.

Spofford has a different ZIP code (03462) from the rest of Chesterfield. Home to Spofford Lake, there are two different beaches to visit. On Route 9A there is Ware's Grove Beach where out-of-town visitors can pay $6 for a day pass or $125 for a season pass. The other is North Shore Beach on North Shore Road, which is open to town residents only.In the middle of Spofford Lake lies Pierce Island, a state park.

Poocham is an unincorporated community in the town of Westmoreland in Cheshire County, New Hampshire, United States, near the larger communities of Keene, New Hampshire and Brattleboro, Vermont. Poocham's oldest houses date from around 1800. By reputation, the name Poocham comes from an Abenaki Indian word meaning "gathering place". The community is almost entirely composed of homes and farms, but a small fluorite mine (called William Wise Mine) and growing vineyard (called Poocham Hill Winery) are also present.

Chesterfield Gorge Natural Area, also known as Chesterfield Gorge State Wayside, is a 13-acre (5.3 ha) state park on Route 9 in Chesterfield, New Hampshire. The park conserves a rocky gorge with waterfalls on Wilde Brook. There is picnicking, a seasonal visitor center, and 0.7-mile (1.1 km) trail on either side of the brook. The park owes its existence to local farmer George White, who bought the gorge in 1936 to protect it from clear-cut loggers. White sold 15 acres (6.1 ha) to the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests, which then donated the land to the state. As Chesterfield Gorge Wayside Picnic Area, the park dates from 1948.

Wantastiquet Mountain is in New Hampshire by the Connecticut River near Brattleboro, Vermont. Conventional wisdom holds that its name means "west river", but researchers reported the name means river where it is easy to get lost. The mountain has also been known as Chesterfield Mountain and Rattlesnake Mountain. It was home to tomber rattlers. It is 1,335 feet high. There is a trail to its summit that passes by former quartzite mines. Wantastiquet Mountain State Forest is 520 acres. The mountain is along the 50 mile Wantastiquet-Monadnock Trail and Greenway. The trail extends to Mount Monadnock. The Wantastiquet Mountain Natural Area covers 1,000 acres and includes the Walter H. Child Monument. It is in the extreme southwest corner of Chesterfield, New Hampshire at the northwest corner of Hinsdale, New Hampshire across the river from Vermont. Trails up the mountain offer views of the Connecticut River Valley, Brattleboro, Vermont and the Vermont Mountains. Madame Sherri Forest is nearby. A path to the summit was established in the 1840s and a carriage road to the area in 1891. A log cabin offered water cures. Bands reportedly played on the mountain with the sound carrying to those below. In 1924 a cross was burner on it while Ku Klux Klan organizers were in the area. Radio stations and a weather station were installed on it. A 100-foot cable tower topped the mountain until being taken down around 2023. All Souls Unitarian Church in Brattleboro, Vermont was built of Quartzite from the mountain. It is now The Stone Church theater.

The High Tops School, also known as Schoolhouse No. 9, is a historic school building at the corner of Reynolds and River roads in Westmoreland, New Hampshire. Built in 1789 and remodeled in 1846, it is one of a small number of district schoolhouses in the region to survive demolition or adaptation to residential use. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, and the New Hampshire State Register of Historic Places in 2007. It is now owned by the Westmoreland Park Hill Meeting House and Historical Society.

Westmoreland is a town in Cheshire County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 1,706 at the 2020 census, down from 1,874 at the 2010 census. Westmoreland is historically an agricultural town, with much arable farmland.

The United States Navy Seabees Bridge is a through-steel two-hinged arch bridge over the Connecticut River located between Brattleboro, Vermont, and Chesterfield, New Hampshire. It carries the Franklin Pierce Highway, New Hampshire Route 9, which connects to Vermont Route 9 on the Vermont side. It runs parallel to the Justice Harlan Fiske Stone Bridge which it replaced, but which has been retained as a pedestrian and bicycle bridge.

The New England Center for Circus Arts (NECCA) is a non-profit circus school based in Brattleboro, Vermont. As of 2016, the School reported 6,000 students.Originally in the Old Cotton Mill, in Brattleboro, the school moved into a new custom-built facility at 10 Town Crier Dr in 2017, which includes an 8,600 square foot Trapezium. The new facility required a 2.5 million dollar capital campaign, and was designed by Turner Brooks Architects. The school had been growing continuously since its inception in 2007. The school was founded by Serenity Smith Forchion and Elsie Smith.
