Sittingbourne Community F.C. is an English football club located in Sittingbourne, in Kent. The club plays in the Kent County Football League Division Two East. Woodstock Park was accepted into the newly formed Kent Invicta Football League for the inaugural 2011–12 season. They left the league the following season, rejoining the Kent County League. At the start of the 2014–15 season, Woodstock Park entered into an agreement with Sittingbourne (who play their home games at the same ground) to become Sittingbourne Community FC, which now serves as a feeder team to Isthmian League level Sittingbourne.

Woodstock Sports Football Club was an English football team based in Sittingbourne, Kent, last played in the Southern Counties East League. During the summer of 2015 the club announced that due to financial difficulties they would cease to exist.

Cromers Wood is a 28-hectare (69-acre) nature reserve between Milstead and Sittingbourne in Kent. It is managed by Kent Wildlife Trust.This ancient semi-natural wood is located on the south-east slope of a dry valley. There are birds such as sparrowhawks, green woodpeckers and great spotted woodpeckers, and flora include early purple and common spotted orchids.There is public access to the site.

Sittingbourne is an industrial town in the Swale district, in Kent, southeast England, 17 miles (27 km) from Canterbury and 45 miles (72 km) from London, beside the Roman Watling Street, an ancient British trackway used by the Romans and the Anglo-Saxons. The town stands next to the Swale, a strip of sea separating mainland Kent from the Isle of Sheppey. The town became prominent after the death of Thomas Becket in 1170, since it provided a convenient resting point on the road from London to Canterbury and Dover. Chatham Main Line links to London Victoria station and HS1 to St Pancras International, the journey taking about an hour from Sittingbourne railway station.

Rodmersham is a village and civil parish in the Borough of Swale in the north of the English county of Kent. It is just under 1 mile (1.6 km) south of Bapchild on the A2 road and 1.5 miles (2.4 km) south-east of the town of Sittingbourne. Rodmersham Green, which forms the bulk of the modern village, is 0.5 miles (0.80 km) to the south-west of the village church towards the Highsted Valley and Tunstall.
