The Blomberg is a mountain, 1,248 m high, in Bavaria, Germany and is the local mountain of Bad Tölz and a popular destination both with locals and visitors to the region. It is accessible on a short footpath which is steep in places or with the aid of a chairlift.

The Benediktenwand (formerly the Kirchstein) is a 1,800-metre-high (5,900 ft) mountain ridge in the Bavarian Prealps between the rivers Loisach and Isar and the Jachenau in the south and Benediktbeuern Abbey, from which it derives its name, in the north. Immediately below the North Face of the Benediktenwand is the Tutzinger Hut (1,327 m). During the Würm glaciation, the summit of the Benediktenwand towered about 600 metres above the ice stream of the Walchensee and Isar Glaciers (branches of the Inn Valley Glacier).

Bichl is a municipality in the district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen in Bavaria, Germany. It is located at 47°43′N 11°25′E, and has about 2000 residents. The village first appears in documents from 1048. The name "Bichl" refers to hill upon which the village church, St. George, stands. The church was built by Johann Michael Fischer. The origin of the name Bichl comes from the Bavarian word for hill "Bühel" which appears in many place names, where Austro-Bavarian dialects are spoken. For example: Kitzbühel.

Bichl station (German: Bahnhof Bichl) is a railway station in the municipality of Bichl, in Bavaria, Germany. It is located on the Kochelsee line of Deutsche Bahn and was formerly the southern terminus of the Isar Valley line, before it was cut back to Wolfratshausen.
