WPNT (channel 22) is a television station in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States, affiliated with The CW and MyNetworkTV. It is owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group alongside Fox affiliate WPGH-TV (channel 53). Both stations share studios on Ivory Avenue in the city's Summer Hill section, where WPNT's transmitter is also located.

WXDX-FM (105.9 MHz) is a commercial FM radio station in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania known as 105.9 The X. It airs an alternative rock radio format and is owned by iHeartMedia. The studios and offices are in Foster Plaza on Holiday Drive in Green Tree, Pennsylvania, but using a Pittsburgh address. WXDX is the flagship radio station of the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team. WXDX-FM has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 15,500 watts. Its transmitter is located off Swanson Street in Pittsburgh's North Side, on a tower shared with KDKA-TV 2 and other FM stations. WXDX-FM broadcast using HD Radio technology.

KDKA-TV (channel 2) is a television station in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States, airing programming from the CBS network. It is owned and operated by the network's CBS News and Stations division alongside Jeannette-licensed CW affiliate WPCW (channel 19). Both stations share studios at the Gateway Center in downtown Pittsburgh, while KDKA-TV's transmitter is located in the city's Perry North neighborhood. KDKA-TV, along with sister station KYW-TV in Philadelphia, are the only CBS-affiliated stations east of the Mississippi River with "K" call signs. KDKA-TV is available on cable in parts of the Johnstown–Altoona, Wheeling–Steubenville and Youngstown areas, as well as several other out-of-market cable systems in northwestern Pennsylvania, western Maryland, northeastern and east-central Ohio, and north-central West Virginia. The furthest south KDKA-TV is carried on cable is in Beverly, West Virginia.

The Byzantine Catholic Seminary of SS. Cyril and Methodius is an American degree-granting school of theology in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The seminary prepares candidates for priestly ministry to the Byzantine Catholic churches of North America. As of 2019, this includes the Ruthenian Byzantine Catholic Church, the Melkite Greek Catholic Eparchy of Newton, the Romanian Catholic Eparchy of St George's in Canton, and the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Saint Josaphat in Parma The seminary was established by the Byzantine Catholic Metropolitan Church of Pittsburgh in 1950 on Pittsburgh's Observatory Hill. In addition to the training of priests, the seminary offers programs in deacon formation as well as a cantor institute.

Perry Traditional Academy, also known as Perry High School, is a high school in the Perry North neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Perry is one of ten secondary schools in the Pittsburgh Public Schools. Opened during the 1922-1923 school year, Perry has provided quality education to the youth of the Northside of Pittsburgh and the City of Pittsburgh for a century.

Local sports hosts are heard weekdays from noon to 7 p.m. Other times, ESPN Radio programming is heard. The studios and offices are located in Green Tree. WBGG transmits with 5,000 watts, but to avoid interfering with other stations on 970 AM is uses a directional antenna at all times. By day a four-tower array is employed and at night, it switches to an eight-tower array. The transmitter is off McKnight Road in Ross Township, Pennsylvania.

Evergreen Hamlet is a historic district in Ross Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, USA. It was a planned community that was founded by William Shinn in 1851. Joseph W. Kerr (1815–1888) designed all four of the Evergreen Hamlet houses. The community was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on September 17, 1974.
