Salem, Robertstown is an Independent (Congregationalist) chapel in Bridge Street, Robertstown, Aberdare, Wales.

The Iron Tram Bridge, Robertstown is an early example of a "railway" bridge. It crosses the River Cynon between Trecynon and Robertstown. It carried the Llwydcoed Tramroad (4 feet 2 inches (1.27 m) gauge) which ran from Hirwaun to the canal head at Cwmbach, south east of Aberdare. It was built by the Aberdare Canal & Navigation Company in 1811, and probably designed by George Overton.Little remains of the tramroad but its route is now a footpath. The bridge is a scheduled monument and a Grade II listed building.The bridge was declared unsafe and has now been completely removed. Carmel, Trecynon was a Calvinistic Methodist chapel located in Hirwaun Road, Trecynon, directly opposite the public park at Aberdare, Wales. Services at Carmel were conducted in the Welsh language, and the history of Carmel involves much more than the history of the building alone. Carmel was the first Calvinistic Methodist chapel to be established in the Aberdare district, and is considered the mother church of all Methodist chapels in the Cynon Valley. It remained an active church until the end of the twentieth century, but its decline mirrored that of the Welsh language in the area over the decades.

The Coliseum Theatre is a performing arts venue in the village of Trecynon, near the town of Aberdare, Wales. It is run by Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council. It was officially opened on Saturday, September 17, 1938. Aberdare Coliseum has a 600-seat auditorium and cinema. Crass played their final gig there.
