Coliseum Theatre (Aberdare)

Hen-Dy-Cwrdd (The Old Meeting Place) is a disused Unitarian chapel in Trecynon, Aberdare, Wales. Services at the chapel were conducted in the Welsh language.

Trecynon is a village near Aberdare situated in the Cynon Valley, in Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales. It dates from the early nineteenth century and developed as a result of the opening of the Aberdare Ironworks at Llwydcoed in 1800.

Heolyfelin Chapel, Trecynon, Aberdare (also spelled Heol-y-Felin) was a Welsh Baptist chapel established in 1855. Services were held in the Welsh language. The building seated 800. By December 2015 the chapel had closed and was for sale.

Aberdare Park (Welsh: Parc Aberdâr) is a well-preserved Victorian public park located in the village of Trecynon, near the town of Aberdare in South Wales.

Carmel, Trecynon was a Calvinistic Methodist chapel located in Hirwaun Road, Trecynon, directly opposite the public park at Aberdare, Wales. Services at Carmel were conducted in the Welsh language, and the history of Carmel involves much more than the history of the building alone. Carmel was the first Calvinistic Methodist chapel to be established in the Aberdare district, and is considered the mother church of all Methodist chapels in the Cynon Valley. It remained an active church until the end of the twentieth century, but its decline mirrored that of the Welsh language in the area over the decades.

The Iron Tram Bridge, Robertstown is an early example of a "railway" bridge. It crosses the River Cynon between Trecynon and Robertstown. It carried the Llwydcoed Tramroad (4 feet 2 inches (1.27 m) gauge) which ran from Hirwaun to the canal head at Cwmbach, south east of Aberdare. It was built by the Aberdare Canal & Navigation Company in 1811, and probably designed by George Overton.Little remains of the tramroad but its route is now a footpath. The bridge is a scheduled monument and a Grade II listed building.The bridge was declared unsafe and has now been completely removed. St Fagan's Church (Welsh: Eglwys Sain Ffagan) is a Grade II-listed Anglican church in the village of Trecynon near Aberdare, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales. It was originally built in the mid-nineteenth century in the Gothic Revival style, but burned down a few years later and was rebuilt.
