Le Grand-Bornand

Saint-Jean-de-Sixt (Arpitan: Sent-Jian-de-Sixt) is a commune in the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in southeastern France. It lies in the Aravis Range of the French Alps. The inhabitants are the Saintjeandais or Saintjeandins. The village used to be called Villaret, when it was a part of the Savoyard state, prior to its incorporation into France in 1860.

La Clusaz (French pronunciation: [la kly.za]; Arpitan: La Klyuza, Franco-Provençal pronunciation: [la kʎyza]) is a commune in the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France.

Entremont is a former commune in the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. On 1 January 2019, it was merged into the new commune Glières-Val-de-Borne.

Lac de Lessy is a lake at Le Petit-Bornand-les-Glières in the Haute-Savoie, France.

Lac des Confins is located just below the station of La Clusaz in the Haute-Savoie department in the Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. The lake is situated at the foot of the Aravis Range. Nearby is the Pointe Percée. Every year, at the end of the skiing season, there is a light-hearted descent. The skiers run down the hills towards the lake as fast as they can, the idea being to see who can jump the furthest into the lake. All participants are encouraged.

Pic de Jallouvre is a mountain of Haute-Savoie, France. It is the highest mountain in the Bornes Massif range of the French Prealps and its highest point, the Pointe Blanche, has an elevation of 2438 metres.

Glières-Val-de-Borne is a commune in the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. It was established on 1 January 2019 by merger of the former communes of Le Petit-Bornand-les-Glières (the seat) and Entremont.

Le Petit-Bornand-les-Glières, commonly referred to as Petit-Bornand, is a former commune in the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. On 1 January 2019, it was merged with its neighbour village Entrement to form the new commune of Glières-Val-de-Borne.Petit Bornand has a number of dairy farms, tourist accommodations and secondary residences. It is in the area which is authorised to produce the named soft cheese "roblochon"[1]

The Bornes Massif (French: Massif des Bornes) is a mountainous massif in the north French Prealps in the département of Haute-Savoie. It has 20 peaks higher than 2000 m and is a popular destination for winter sports. The Massif is the source of the celebrated cheese Reblochon.

Les Villards-sur-Thônes (French pronunciation: [le vilaʁ syʁ ton], literally Les Villards on Thônes; Arpitan: Lou Vlâr) is a commune in the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France.

The Col de la Croix Fry (1,467 m (4,813 ft)) is a mountain pass located in the Chaîne des Aravis, between Manigod and La Clusaz in the Haute-Savoie department of France. The road over the col is used occasionally by the Tour de France cycle race with the tour crossing the pass on Stage 19 of the 2013 Tour. At the summit is the village of La Croix Fry.

La Croix Fry is a small village contained within the domain of Manigod, Haute-Savoie, France. With a population of under 600, it is a popular site for hill walking on the Plateau de Beauregard as well as skiing in the winter. It is located in between the large skiing town of La Clusaz and the village of Manigod; the Col de la Croix Fry is on the Tour de France route through the Haute-Savoie department.
