Menzies Creek is a township in Victoria, Australia, 40 km east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the Shires of Cardinia and Yarra Ranges local government areas. Menzies Creek recorded a population of 966 at the 2021 census.Menzies' Creek Post Office opened on 2 May 1887 and closed in 1980.Menzies Creek railway station opened on 18 December 1900 with the opening of the Gembrook line. The station name was changed to Aura on 5 December 1904—while the Post Office remained Menzies Creek—but reverted to Menzies Creek on 4 July 1947. The area is named after James Menzies, a gold digger in the 1860s, who worked the area for many years and is believed to be buried locally.

Cardinia Reservoir is an Australian man-made water supply saddle dam reservoir. The 287,000 ML (63 billion imp gal; 76 billion US gal) water store is located in Emerald–Clematis–Dewhurst in south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria. Construction started in May 1970 and was completed in 1973 at a cost of more than A$11.4 million. The dam that creates the impoundment is called the Cardinia Dam.

Menzies Creek railway station, formerly known as Aura railway station, is located on the Puffing Billy Railway in the town of the same name.

The Division of La Trobe is an Australian Electoral Division in the state of Victoria. It is a semi-urban electorate extending from the outer south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne to the westernmost areas of Gippsland. Narre Warren East recorded a population of 434 at the 2021 census.Despite its name, Narre Warren East is actually located in a north-easterly direction from Narre Warren North. It is also separated from the rest of the Narre Warrens, which are a part of the City of Casey. Narre Warren East Post Office was short-lived operating in 1911 and 1912.The Narre Warren East public hall is located on Berwick Road. Kerrs Park is located in Narre Warren East. Muddy Creek, a tributary of Cardinia Creek flows through the reserve. Narre Warren East has an Active Fire Brigade (CFA) with two appliances servicing the local and surrounding areas.

Clematis is a town in Victoria, Australia, 42 km south-east from Melbourne's central business district, located within the Shire of Cardinia local government area. Clematis recorded a population of 352 at the 2021 census.The town consists of a fire station, a pub, a railway station, a small hall and two shops. Clematis was featured in the 1978 Australian TV movie "The Death Train", starring Hugh Keays-Byrne.

Clematis railway station is situated on the Puffing Billy Railway. It was opened on 10 March 1902 as Paradise Valley. The name was shortened to Paradise in 1908 and changed to Clematis in 1921. Trains rarely stop here, except by prior arrangement, often for groups travelling to the Paradise Hotel (behind the station). Clematis contains a small loop siding with a dead end spur, which are staff operated.

Emerald is a town in the Greater Melbourne area of Victoria, Australia, 44 km south-east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the Shires of Cardinia and Yarra Ranges local government areas. Emerald recorded a population of 5,890 at the 2021 census.Emerald also includes Cardinia Reservoir, Melbourne's second largest reservoir.

Belgrave South is an area and a suburb of Greater Melbourne mainly beyond the Melbourne metropolitan area Urban Growth Boundary, 37 km south-east from Melbourne's central business district, located within the Shire of Yarra Ranges local government area. Belgrave Heights recorded a population of 1,670 at the 2021 census.It is positioned at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges and bordered by the suburbs of Belgrave, Belgrave Heights, Lysterfield and the localities of Narre Warren East and Selby.

Emerald railway station is situated on the Puffing Billy Railway in Victoria, Australia. It was opened with the Railway on 18 December 1900 and comprised a platform track and a loop siding.

Selby railway station was opened in May 1904, and named after the local landowner and Shire President W. Selby. The station consists of a short platform and corrugated iron waiting shelter. Trains do not normally stop here but will stop if required.

Beaconsfield Upper is a town in Victoria, Australia, 45 km south-east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the Shire of Cardinia local government area. Beaconsfield Upper recorded a population of 2,997 at the 2021 census.
