The Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) is a nonprofit organization that operates an annual 15-day summer fair, 10-day winter fair, a seasonal amusement park, and indoor arenas in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The PNE fair is held at Hastings Park, beginning in mid-to-late August and ending in early September, usually Labour Day, and in mid-December until Christmas. The organization was established in 1907 as the Vancouver Exhibition Association, and organized its first fair at Hastings Park in 1910. The organization was renamed to the Pacific National Exhibition in 1946. During the mid-20th century, a number of facilities were built on the PNE grounds, including Pacific Coliseum and the PNE Agrodome. In 1993, the amusement park adjacent to the PNE, Playland, became a division of the PNE.

The PNE Roller Coaster is a wooden roller coaster at Playland in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Opened in 1958, it is the oldest roller coaster in Canada. The ride is 2,840 ft (870 m) long—which established it as the largest roller coaster in Canada at the time it was completed—and has a height of 68 ft (21 m) and speeds of up to 76 km/h (47 mph). The coaster was awarded the Coaster Classic and Roller Coaster Landmark statuses by American Coaster Enthusiasts.

Corkscrew was a steel roller coaster located at 'Playland At the PNE' amusement park in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is famous for its appearance in the 2006 motion picture Final Destination 3 (known in the movie as Devil's Flight) and the 2012 motion picture Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days, as well as the popular television series Smallville (season three's "Magnetic"). The bonus disc of the Final Destination 3 DVD set includes behind-the-scenes footage shot on and around the coaster, documenting the challenges involved in shooting the complex scenes. As of March 2019, it is no longer listed on the park’s website and has been sold to an unannounced purchaser.

Empire Field was a temporary Canadian football and soccer stadium built at Hastings Park in the Canadian city of Vancouver, British Columbia. Located on the site of the former Empire Stadium, the 27,528 spectator venue was constructed to allow a new retractable roof to be installed at BC Place in 2010 and 2011. Empire Field was home to the Canadian Football League's (CFL) BC Lions for the 2010 and part of the 2011 seasons, and for Major League Soccer's (MLS) Vancouver Whitecaps FC for part of their debut 2011 season. The venue was constructed by Nussli Group in three months, cost $14.4 million and opened on June 15, 2010. The venue featured 20,500 roofed bucket seats—with the remaining 7,000 being benches—12 luxury suites, a press room, flood lighting and a FieldTurf artificial turf. The venue's record attendance are two sell-out matches: for the Lions it occurred in inaugural 2010 regular-season match against the Saskatchewan Roughriders; for the Whitecaps, it was a regular-season match against the Los Angeles Galaxy. Dismantling took place in November and December 2011 and the site is now used as a community playing field.

Empire Stadium was a multi-purpose stadium that stood at the Pacific National Exhibition site at Hastings Park in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Track and field and Canadian football, as well as soccer, rugby and musical events, were held at the stadium. The stadium was originally constructed for the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games. The stadium (which sat 32,375 upon opening, but 30,229 after 1974) hosted both Elvis Presley and The Beatles. It saw most of its use as the home of the BC Lions of the CFL from 1954 to 1982, in which the venue also played host to the first Grey Cup game held west of Ontario in 1955. Empire Stadium also hosted the Grey Cup game in 1958, 1960, 1963, 1966, 1971, and 1974; seven times in total. Empire Stadium was often home to the Shrine Bowl Provincial Championship for provincial senior high school.The stadium was also home to the Vancouver Whitecaps of the North American Soccer League during the 1970s and early 1980s, as well as the Vancouver Royals of the same league for their only year of play in 1968. Just before the 1966 Grey Cup game, the stadium had the new "gooseneck" or "slingshot" goal posts erected invented by Jim Trimble and Joel Rottman, marking the first time these goalposts were used at any level of football in a championship game. They were first used a week earlier at Montreal's Autostade for the 1966 Eastern Conference final; this model goalpost would soon become the standard design in the NFL and CFL. In 1970, it became the first facility in Canada to have artificial playing surface installed made by 3M, under the brand name "Tartan Turf". Both the Lions and Whitecaps moved to BC Place Stadium for the 1983 season. The stadium was demolished in the early 1990s. The site served as a parking lot for the neighbouring Pacific National Exhibition as well as Playland for many years before being converted to a soccer field and track on the site of the old field. With BC Place Stadium undergoing renovations in 2010 and 2011, the BC Lions and Vancouver Whitecaps played their home games at Empire Field, a temporary field constructed on the former grounds of Empire Stadium. After the renovations to BC Place were complete, the temporary stadium was removed. The park and sports fields were restored for community use.

E-Comm 9-1-1 is a multi-municipality agency that provides emergency communications operations for British Columbia. The company coordinates 9-1-1 service for police, fire, and ambulance service, providing call-taking and dispatch services for multiple agencies in the Lower Mainland area. E-Comm's service area covers Metro Vancouver (from Lions Bay to Langley), the Sunshine Coast Regional District, south Squamish-Lillooet Regional District the Whistler-Howe Sound and Fraser Valley Regional District area serving residents in the province. The company provides call-taking for all participating municipalities, transferring incoming calls to the appropriate agency. Furthermore, E-Comm provides dispatch services for eighteen police and fire departments.E-Comm owns and operates the Wide-Area Radio Network (WARN), a shared communications system used by police agencies, fire departments and the entire British Columbia Ambulance Service in Metro Vancouver. The WARN features earthquake-resistant infrastructure and enhanced security measures, providing improved coverage, clarity, and reliability. The WARN allows for real-time communication between members of separate agencies, increasing inter-agency communication and coordination. WARN was replaced in Spring 2018 by the Next Generation Radio Program (NGRP)

Hastings Racecourse is a horse-racing facility at Hastings Park, four miles from downtown Vancouver. Originally called East Park, it opened for business in 1889, making it Vancouver's longest continuously used professional sports facility. The racing operation is currently a wholly owned subsidiary of the Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, which acquired the lease of the city-owned track in 2004.

PNE Agrodome is a sports arena located in Vancouver, British Columbia. It was built in 1963 and holds 5,000 people or 3,260 when configured to use the hockey or lacrosse surface. It annually hosted the provincial high school boys' 'AAA' basketball championships until 2010. The tournament moved to the Langley Events Centre in 2011. It was used as a professional wrestling venue by NWA All-Star Wrestling for bigger events in the 1960s and 1970s, and more recently by WWE for smaller events. It served as the home field for the Vancouver Whitecaps for the 1981–82 NASL indoor soccer season, when the Pacific Coliseum became unavailable.It was host to the Vancouver Voodoo roller hockey franchise from 1993 to 1994. It was home to the Vancouver Burrards Western Lacrosse Association team from 1990 through 1993. The team moved to the North Surrey Recreation Centre for the 1994 season. The venue played the role of the Soviet arena in the climactic fight between Rocky Balboa and Ivan Drago in the movie Rocky IV. It also portrayed Olympic Center in Lake Placid, New York for the film Miracle. It has also appeared in films such as Slap Shot 2 and Deadpool and in episodes of MacGyver, Booker, and Highlander. It was also disguised as a roller rink for the opening scene in Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules, due to the lack of a roller rink in Greater Vancouver. Most recently it served as an ice arena for The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, a reboot of the 1990's The Mighty Ducks movie franchise, as the fictional Minnesota Igloo. The Arena hosted concerts by some of the world's biggest rock acts on their early tours. Some of these acts include The Rolling Stones (1965), Bob Dylan (1966), The Who (1967), Led Zeppelin (twice in 1969), Vanilla Fudge (1969), The Mothers of Invention (1969), Ike & Tina Turner (1970), Pink Floyd (1970), Deep Purple (1972) and Wishbone Ash (1975).

Creekway Park is a small daylighting habitat located in the Hastings-Sunrise area of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The park, which is located at 2957 Bridgeway Street just southeast of New Brighton Park between McGill Street and the railway tracks, was completed in September 2013 as the first stage of the Vancouver City Council's plan to eventually connect New Brighton Park with Hastings Park. This would provide a passage for water from the sanctuary at Hastings Park to the Burrard Inlet. Although the connection is not fully complete, Creekway Park still has a running stream with pedestrian and bicycle paths that connect to the Trans Canada Trail. Once the project has been fully completed, there will be a pathway between Hastings Park, Creekway Park, and New Brighton Park. This will also promote an urban habitat that supports all kinds of wildlife such as birds, fish, butterflies, and amphibians, as well as many native plant species.

The Forum (also known as the Exhibition Forum, Vancouver Forum and PNE Forum) is an indoor arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada located on the grounds of the Pacific National Exhibition.

Pacific Coliseum, known to locals as "The Coliseum" or the "Rink on Renfrew," is an indoor arena located at Hastings Park in Vancouver, British Columbia. Its main use has been for ice hockey and the arena has been the home for several ice hockey teams. The arena was the home of the Vancouver Giants of the Western Hockey League (WHL), from 2001 to 2016. Other hockey tenants of the Pacific Coliseum have been the Vancouver Canucks (Western Hockey League) from 1968 to 1970, Vancouver Canucks (National Hockey League) from 1970 to 1995, the Vancouver Nats (WHL) from 1972 to 1973, the Vancouver Blazers (World Hockey Association) from 1973 to 1975, and the Vancouver Voodoo (Roller Hockey International) from 1994 to 1995. It was completed in 1968 on the site of the Pacific National Exhibition. Its architect and plans were also used for Edmonton's Northlands Coliseum. Originally holding 15,038 for ice hockey, capacity has fluctuated slightly over the years and currently holds 16,281. During the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, it was the venue for figure skating and short track speed skating. The arena also hosts a variety of concerts and other events.

The Cassiar Connector is a highway traffic tunnel on the Trans-Canada Highway. It is located in the north-east corner of Vancouver, British Columbia, near the Vancouver-Burnaby border. Travelling northward, the tunnel begins under Adanac Street and passes under the interchange between East Hastings Street and the Highway 1 offramps. It ends underneath Triumph Street, with the highway continuing north to the McGill Street interchange (to the Port of Vancouver) and the Ironworkers Memorial Second Narrows Crossing towards the District of North Vancouver. The tunnel is 730 metres (2,400 ft) long. Dangerous goods are not permitted to be transported through the tunnel.
