Bentelo

Ambt Delden is a former municipality in the Dutch province of Overijssel. It consisted of the countryside surrounding the city of Delden, which was a separate municipality. Ambt Delden existed from 1818 to 2001, when it became a part of Hof van Twente.It is a little known fact that the typical dutch dessert of "Vanillevla" found its origins with farmers from the area.

Delden is a railway station located in Delden, The Netherlands. The station was opened on 1 November 1865 and is located on the Zutphen–Glanerbeek railway between Zutphen and Hengelo. Train services are operated by Syntus.

Twickel is a protected historic country estate with 81 complex parts near Delden in the hamlet of Deldeneresch, in the municipality of Hof van Twente in the province of Overijssel in The Netherlands. The moated castle forms the center.

Hengevelde (or Wegdam) is a village in the eastern Netherlands. It is located in the municipality of Hof van Twente. Until 2011 it was in Ambt Delden.

Beckum is a small village 3 km (2 mi) south of Hengelo, Netherlands. The village lies in the municipality of Hengelo, between Hengelo and Haaksbergen. It was first mentioned in 1268 as Beckem, and might mean "settlement along a brook". In 1840, it was home to 304 people. At the centre of the village is the Roman Catholic Church of St. Blasius, built in 1938. The postal authorities have placed it under Haaksbergen.

Carelshaven is a defunct restaurant and hotel in Delden, Netherlands. It had a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in 1973 and retained that rating until 1986.The hotel closed it doors after Christmas 2013, after being in operation for 237 years. It was owned by the Kluver family for six generations. It reopened under new owners and management on 1 August 2014.De building in which Carelshaven is housed, is originally built in 1772. It was built as an inn, to serve travellers along the Twickelervaart (canal), who often stopped for the night in the small harbour. Earl Carel George van Wassenaer Obdam, Lord of Twickel, ordered the building of the inn and the canal.Carelshaven is one of the founders of Alliance Gastronomique Neerlandaise. In 1967, owner was J.E. Kluvers.

Oele (in old Dutch also: Eule, Dutch Low Saxon: Eul) is a village in the municipality Hengelo in the Dutch province of Overijssel. It is located south-west of Hengelo, south of the Twentekanaal. The highway A35 and the Provincial road 739|N739 (the road from Hengelo to Beckum and Haaksbergen) are close to the population centre. Until the creation of the municipality of Hengelo, Oele was part of the richterambt Delden.

Rietmolen is a village in the eastern Netherlands. It is located in the municipality of Berkelland, Gelderland. It was first mentioned in the 1630s as Rytmuelerbrugh, and means "windmill along a stream". Since 1712, the inn Reetmölle was used as a Catholic church. In 1835, a real church was built. In 1931, construction began on a new church. It was finished in 1933, and has a 45 metres (148 ft) tall slender tower which resembles a minaret.

Achterveld is a rural area located in the eastern Netherlands, in the municipality of Berkelland, Gelderland. It is the site of one of the few remaining wet heaths in the Netherlands, which is protected as a nature reserve.

Azelo (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈaː.zəˌloː]; Tweants: Oazel(e)) is a hamlet in the municipalities of Hof van Twente, Borne, and Almelo in the province of Overijssel in the Netherlands. It is located between Borne, Bornerbroek, and Delden and has approximately 250 inhabitants. Until January 1, 2001, Azelo belonged largely to the municipality of Ambt Delden. The hamlet is particularly known for the Azelo junction, where the A1 motorway and the A35 motorway meet. The Azelerbeek flows east of the center of Azelo. The hamlet was first attested as Aselo in 1333. The name is likely a compound of Old Dutch Aso (a personal name) and lo ("light forest"). Azelo used to be a hamlet and marke in the richterambt of Delden. The erfmarkenrichterschap of marke Azelo was originally located on the Hof van Azelo, the current farms of Have and Meijer. After Twickel bought the markenrichterschap in the seventeenth century, the meetings were usually kept on the Graes farm. The manor of Dubbelink used to be located in the hamlet of Azelo. A remnant of this is the so-called Meistershoes ('Master's House') on the Meijerinkveldkampsweg. The old Dubbelink bakehouse also still exists. A large number of the farms in Azelo, including Graes, Grave, Morskate, and the farms on Dubbelink, belong to the Twickel estate. The hamlet's area has a large spread size, and is located in three different municipalities. This is mainly due to a boundary correction during the 2001 reorganization, in which the municipal boundaries were located along the A1 motorway. Because of this, a third of the hamlet is partly in the municipality of Borne and partly in the municipality of Almelo. The vast majority, however, is located in the municipality of Hof van Twente, which is also indicated on the place name sign of the hamlet.
