Headliners (UK) is a United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (UK) charity that provides a programme of learning through journalism for young people aged 8–19. Headliners believe young people have the right to be heard. and they empower them to express themselves, tell their stories and change their lives. Initially Headliners was founded as Children's Express in 1994, the charity was based on the international youth news agency Children's Express. After Children's Express ceased operations in 2001, the UK charity was relaunched as Headliners on 30 January 2007.Headliners has projects based in London, Belfast, Foyle (Derry), and Newcastle upon Tyne. They did have offices in the South-East of England, West Midlands and Yorkshire, however later closed.The charity is supported by The Guardian. It was awarded a £900,000 Big Lottery Fund grant in December 2006, and a £299,000 V grant in December 2007.

Hales Gallery is a contemporary art gallery owned by Paul Hedge and Paul Maslin. Hales Gallery opened in 1992 in Deptford, South London, before moving to the Tea Building, in Shoreditch, London's East End in 2004 and later opening a second space in Chelsea, New York in 2018.

Trolley Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in Shoreditch, east London, which emerged independently and alongside the already established Trolley Books in 2003. The gallery exhibits the work of new, emerging artists and is often host to first solo shows. The gallery's directors were Hannah Watson and founder Gigi Giannuzzi, who died in 2013.Trolley Gallery took part in the Zoo Art Fair 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.

The Knave of Clubs is a former pub at 25 Bethnal Green Road, Shoreditch, London E1. It closed in July 1994, and since 2001 has been Les Trois Garçons, a restaurant.It is a Grade II listed building, built in 1880.

St Hilda's East Community Centre is a charity based in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The centre is located in Shoreditch in Central London and its second site, Sonali Gardens, is in Shadwell in East London. St Hilda's East Community Centre works with local people of all backgrounds, offering a wide range of activities. This includes advice services, youth projects, support for parents and pre-school children, work with older people, women’s projects, volunteering placement and carers’ respite. It was founded as a settlement in 1889 by the Guild of Cheltenham Ladies' College.

The Sonos Studio (colloquially the SONOS studio) is an art gallery and studio established on May 9, 2012, and owned by American consumer electronics company Sonos. It was originally located in Los Angeles, United States, but a second gallery was set up in London, United Kingdom, on September 23, 2015, and the original location was dissolved on January 19, 2016. The Studio also had temporary pop-up locations that have included New York City and Amsterdam from 2013, 2014 and 2015. The gallery combines collections of Sonos' products, art and technology, but also hosts musicians in certain events where a band or solo artist performs at the location. The admission, as well as other supplies that are stated, is free of charge.

Cereal Killer Cafe was a café situated on Brick Lane in Spitalfields, London that served branded breakfast cereals. It was the first cereal-themed café in the United Kingdom. It announced the closure of its UK stores on 8 July 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Dubai store remains open as of 2022.

The Boundary Estate is a housing development in Shoreditch, formally opened in 1900, in the far west of the East End of London, England. It is in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and its western limit, Boundary Street, is within the London Borough of Hackney. The estate, constructed from 1890, was one of the earliest social housing schemes built by a local government authority. It was built on the site of the demolished Friars Mount rookery in the Old Nichol, with works begun by the Metropolitan Board of Works in 1893 and completed by the recently formed London County Council. Soil from the foundations was used to construct a mound in the middle of Arnold Circus at the centre of the development, surmounted by an extant bandstand. The estate consists of multistorey brick tenements radiating from the central circus, each of which bears the name of a town or village along the non-tidal reaches of the Thames.

Brick Lane Market is the collective name for a number of London markets centred on Brick Lane, in Tower Hamlets in east London. The original market was located at the northern end of Brick Lane and in the heart of east London's Bangladeshi community but now commonly refers to the various markets that are housed along the famous London street. The various markets that stretch the length of Brick Lane operate both weekdays but most historically weekends: Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The markets sell a diverse range of items, from antique books to eight-track cartridge decks, vintage clothing to street food and for many years hosted a stall selling nothing but rusty cog wheels. The markets have always been popular with and much photographed by art students, and bargain hunters from across London value it greatly.

The Owl and Pussycat is a pub at 34 Redchurch Street in the Shoreditch area of London. It is a Grade II listed building, under its original name, The Crown, dating back to the 18th century.It is part of the Geronimo Inns pub chain.
