Cereal Killer Cafe was a café situated on Brick Lane in Spitalfields, London that served branded breakfast cereals. It was the first cereal-themed café in the United Kingdom. It announced the closure of its UK stores on 8 July 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Dubai store remains open as of 2022.

Shoreditch was a London Underground station located in Shoreditch in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets in east London. Originally opened by the East London Railway in 1876, the station was permanently closed in 2006 being replaced directly to the west of the site by Shoreditch High Street station in 2010. The station was the northern terminus of the East London Line, with latterly a single platform alongside a single track that ran next to the disused Bishopsgate goods yard. Until the late 1960s the East London Line connected with the main line railway to Liverpool Street just north of Shoreditch station. The site of the link was visible from the end of the platform and still is visible from main line trains travelling between Stratford and Liverpool Street. The station was one of only a handful on the network with a single platform and a single-track layout, though it originally had two tracks and two platforms. The preceding station was Whitechapel, which after Shoreditch's closure was the northern terminus of the East London Line until the line closed for extension in 2007.

Brick Lane (Bengali: ব্রিক লেন) is a street in the East End of London, in the borough of Tower Hamlets. It runs from Swanfield Street in Bethnal Green in the north, crosses the Bethnal Green Road before reaching the busiest, most commercially active part which runs through Spitalfields, or along its eastern edge. Brick Lane’s southern end is connected to Whitechapel High Street by a short extension called Osborn Street. Today, it is the heart of the country's Bangladeshi community with the vicinity known to some as Banglatown. It is famous for its many curry houses.

Headliners (UK) is a United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (UK) charity that provides a programme of learning through journalism for young people aged 8–19. Headliners believe young people have the right to be heard. and they empower them to express themselves, tell their stories and change their lives. Initially Headliners was founded as Children's Express in 1994, the charity was based on the international youth news agency Children's Express. After Children's Express ceased operations in 2001, the UK charity was relaunched as Headliners on 30 January 2007.Headliners has projects based in London, Belfast, Foyle (Derry), and Newcastle upon Tyne. They did have offices in the South-East of England, West Midlands and Yorkshire, however later closed.The charity is supported by The Guardian. It was awarded a £900,000 Big Lottery Fund grant in December 2006, and a £299,000 V grant in December 2007.

The Apollo Music Hall, also known as the Red Cross Public House, was a building at 25 Hare Street, Bethnal Green. Built in 1854 at a cost of £3,000, it had a capacity of 600. It was licensed from 1854 until 1871. The music hall attracted young people that would "mimic popular comic songs, accompanied by a three-piece orchestra" during the week, and on Sundays the Salvation Army held church services that included gospel singing.

Rich Mix is a charity that offers cinema and cross-arts centre that is located in the East End of London, located in Shoreditch in the Borough of Tower Hamlets, East London, England. Once a vast leather factory, 62,000-square-foot building was transformed into a multi-arts venue, which has offered free arts and culture events to over 35,000 people in 2014–2015. Stretched over five floors, the building contains a three-screen cinema showing the latest mainstream and independent films, and a multitude of flexible performance spaces, where both emerging and established artists are welcome to rehearse and perform. Rich Mix also house 20 creative organisations with a combined turnover of over £23,000,000 per year, employing more than 320 people across a wide range of businesses.

The Boishakhi Mela (Bengali: বৈশাখী মেলা, romanized: Boishakhi Mela, lit. 'Fair of Boishakh') is a Bengali celebration (mela) which takes place outside of Bangladesh. It is celebrated by the Bangladeshi diaspora in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada as well as many other countries with significant Bangladeshi populations. In London, it takes place across the area of Banglatown in Tower Hamlets. The festival runs through Brick Lane to Weavers Fields and Allen Gardens in Bethnal Green. The event is a celebration of the Bengali New Year, with musical and cultural events held. It is the largest open-air Asian festival in Europe and the largest Bengali festival outside of Bangladesh. After the Notting Hill Carnival, it is the second-largest street festival in the United Kingdom attracting over 80,000 visitors from across the country. Although the Bengali New Year falls on 14/15 April (Pohela Boishakh in the Bengali calendar), the festival is held in the second weekend of May on a Sunday to avoid the period of higher risk of rain during the month of April. Having started in 1997, the 10th anniversary of the mela was celebrated in 2007.

The Black Eagle Brewery is the former brewing plant of Truman's Brewery located around Brick Lane in the Spitalfields area, in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. Truman's subsequently became Truman, Hanbury and Buxton. By 1853, the Black Eagle Brewery was the largest in the world, with an annual production of 400,000 barrels.The former buildings, warehouses and yards were redeveloped by The Zeloof Partnership as the "Old Truman Brewery" and now house over 250 businesses, ranging from cultural venues to art galleries, restaurants, and retail shops. The Director's House and former Brew House are listed buildings.

Hales Gallery is a contemporary art gallery owned by Paul Hedge and Paul Maslin. Hales Gallery opened in 1992 in Deptford, South London, before moving to the Tea Building, in Shoreditch, London's East End in 2004 and later opening a second space in Chelsea, New York in 2018.

Trolley Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in Shoreditch, east London, which emerged independently and alongside the already established Trolley Books in 2003. The gallery exhibits the work of new, emerging artists and is often host to first solo shows. The gallery's directors were Hannah Watson and founder Gigi Giannuzzi, who died in 2013.Trolley Gallery took part in the Zoo Art Fair 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.
