St Mark's Hospital

Northwick Park Hospital (NWPH) is a major National Health Service hospital situated near the town of Harrow, North West London, managed by the London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. It is located off Watford Road in the London Borough of Brent; closely bordering the London Borough of Harrow.

Northwick Park is a London Underground station in Kenton in the London Borough of Brent on the Metropolitan line. It lies between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Preston Road and is in Travelcard zone 4. It is served by 'slow' (all stations) trains only (fast and semi-fast trains do not stop at stations between Wembley Park and Harrow-on-the-Hill). It takes an average time of 20 minutes from Baker Street. The station takes its name from the nearby public park, Northwick Park. It is close to Northwick Park Hospital and the Harrow campus of the University of Westminster. Kenton station, located on the Bakerloo line and the London Overground, is within walking distance. There is an official out-of-station interchange between these two stations.

Kenton is a National Rail suburban rail station on the Watford DC line and the London Underground Bakerloo line, situated on Kenton Road in Kenton, north-west London. The station is served by London Overground (Arriva Rail London) and London Underground Limited services. It has an out of station interchange (OSI) with Northwick Park station on the London Underground's Metropolitan line.

Harrow High School is a co-educational academy in the London Borough of Harrow and a specialist Sports College. It was previously called Gayton High School and Harrow County School for Boys. There was an independent school with the same name on a nearby site until the late 1980s.

Northwick Park is a large green public park between Harrow and Kenton in north-west London, forming part of the London Borough of Brent. Most of the park consists of playing fields. It is also the name of the electoral ward of Brent that covers the park, the area around its namesake station, and most of North Wembley. The park was originally an estate as part of Sheepcote Farm in the manor of Harrow, and named after its lord, Northwick. The Middlesex County Council acquired 192 acres of land in the 1930s to plant trees and create a landscape to the existing hedges. The amount of public open space has since diminished, partly due to the building of Northwick Park Hospital, a major NHS hospital. Later in 2006, a major privately owned golf course called Playgolf Northwick Park was opened, which has been voted number one 9-hole golf course in the UK in 2009 by National Golfers Magazine. Until World War II, there was a previous golf course there at the land now covered by the Harrow campus of the University of Westminster.From 1987 to 1991, there were proposals to change local authority borders which included transferring Northwick Park to the London Borough of Harrow, which was objected to by Brent London Borough Council. The proposals were eventually rejected.Today, Northwick Park includes nine standard pitches, three cricket pitches, two Gaelic football pitches, two flying areas and eight softball areas. The park also consists of a 1,133 square metre pavilion - a single storey brick building constructed circa 1950 with a hall, ancillary area for sports, and dedicated car park. The pavilion has also been hired for filming.To the west of Northwick Park, across Watford Road, is the Harrow School Playing Fields.

South Kenton is a National Rail suburban rail station in Kenton, north-west London. The station is served by suburban services operated by Arriva Rail London and London Underground Limited (LUL) services. It is on both the London Overground Watford DC line and Bakerloo line between Kenton to the north, and North Wembley to the south. It is located between The Link in the Sudbury Court Estate of North Wembley, and Windermere Grove in Kenton, in the Wembley postal area.

The Windermere is a Grade II listed public house at Windermere Avenue, South Kenton, London.It is on the Campaign for Real Ale's National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors.It was built in 1938.

Harrow School () is a public school (English independent boarding school for boys) in Harrow on the Hill, Greater London, England. The school was founded in 1572 by John Lyon, a local landowner and farmer, under a Royal Charter of Queen Elizabeth I. Harrow's history and influence have made it one of the most prestigious schools in the world.The school has an enrollment of about 820 boys, all of whom board full-time, in twelve boarding houses. It is one of the original nine public schools listed in the 1868 parliament act, and a member of the prestigious Rugby Group schools. With Eton College and Radley College, Harrow retains status of an all-boy, full-boarding school. Harrow's uniform includes morning suits, straw boater hats, top hats and canes. Its list of distinguished alumni includes seven former British Prime Ministers: Aberdeen, Perceval, Goderich, Peel, Palmerston, Baldwin and Churchill, as well as the former Indian Prime Minister, Jawarhalal Nehru; numerous former and current members of both Houses of the UK Parliament, several members of various royal families, three Nobel Prize winners, twenty Victoria Cross holders and many prominent figures in the arts and sciences.

The Harrow School bombing happened on 24 October 1974, when the Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA) bombed Peterborough Cottage, a three-storey former caretaker's house in the grounds of Harrow School. A warning was given and there were no deaths or injuries.

Harrow College is a further education college in the London Borough of Harrow, England, with two campuses in Harrow and Harrow Weald. It was established in 1999 by the merger of two tertiary colleges. Since 2017 it has been legally merged with Uxbridge College, although it retains its individual identity. Harrow College was medium-sized and had over 2,400 full-time and 4,700 part-time learners as of 2013.

Greenhill was an ecclesiastical parish and present day ward with similar but not identical boundaries in the London Borough of Harrow.

The London Borough of Harrow is a London borough in north-west London, England, and forms part of Outer London. It borders four other London boroughs – Barnet to the east of ancient Watling Street (now the A5 road), Brent to the south-east, Ealing to the south and Hillingdon to the west – plus the Hertfordshire districts of Three Rivers and Hertsmere to the north. The local authority is Harrow London Borough Council. The London borough was formed in 1965, based on boundaries that had been established in 1934. The borough is made up of three towns: Harrow proper, Pinner, and Stanmore, but also includes western parts of Edgware; it is of suburban character and includes some countryside in the northern outskirts.
