Comstock Park, Michigan

LMCU Ballpark is a baseball stadium located in Comstock Park, Michigan, just north of Grand Rapids. Established as Old Kent Park in 1994, the stadium hosts a minor league baseball team, the West Michigan Whitecaps, and other sporting events. The ballpark's Fifth Third Burger was featured on an episode of Man v. Food. A fire damaged some of the first base side of the stadium on January 3, 2014, but the stadium re-opened in time to host the Whitecaps for the 2014 season.

WFGR (98.7 FM) is an American FM radio station serving Grand Rapids, Michigan. It transmits from their facility in Alpine Township. WFGR is owned by Townsquare Media. The WFGR signal can be heard as far north as Stanwood, Michigan, far east as Pewamo, Michigan, and as far south as Plainwell, Michigan.

WLHT-FM (95.7 FM) is a hot adult contemporary music formatted radio station in Grand Rapids, Michigan owned by Townsquare Media. WLHT's studios are located on Ottawa Avenue Northwest in downtown Grand Rapids, while its transmitter is located in Comstock Park. WLHT-FM is also licensed for HD Radio operation, and features WSLI on its HD-2 subchannel.

DeltaPlex Arena & Conference Center (formerly Grand Rapids Stadium, Stadium Arena, and Turner Arena) is a 5,000-seat multipurpose arena in Walker, Michigan, United States. It was the home of the Grand Rapids Gold of the NBA G League and the Grand Rapids Wanderers of the Major Arena Soccer League 3. It was built in 1952 and since then the DeltaPlex sports, entertainment and convention complex has grown around the arena. The arena is a 23,000-square-foot (2,000 m2) space, which has a 52-foot (16 m) ceiling, seats up to 8,000 for concerts and has 1,088 loge seats. It has a 60-by-56-foot portable stage. DeltaPlex Arena is a venue usable for not only sports and concerts but also trade shows, conventions, concerts and special events. The Arena is set to close for good in July of 2022.

WTKG (1230 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a talk radio format. Licensed to Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States, and now owned by iHeartMedia, Inc., Previous to adopting the current calls and format in 1997, the station played country under the WJEF (the station on which radio Hall of Famer Wally Phillips started his career) and WCUZ calls.

Lamberton Lake is a 28.5-acre (115,000 m2) freshwater lake located in Kent County in Western Michigan. The lake is approximately 1,700 feet (520 m) long and 1,040 feet (320 m) wide and is centered at 43.02°N 85.63°W / 43.02; -85.63 just within the city limits in northeast Grand Rapids. The surface elevation is 650 feet (200 m), and most of the lake is less than 15 feet (4.6 m) deep. There is one island in the lake, approximately 160 feet (49 m) long and 70 feet (21 m) wide, located in the northwest part of the lake. A low ridge runs along the east side of the lake and overlooks it.

City High Middle School is a secondary school operated by the Grand Rapids Public Schools in the greater Grand Rapids, Michigan area.

Creston High School opened in 1923 as Creston Junior High School, with its first class graduating in 1927. This school was one of the five high schools in Grand Rapids, Michigan. At its peak, it housed around one thousand students and over fifty teachers making the teacher to student ratio about 1:20. The school mascot was the polar bear. The colors were blue and gold.

Northview High School is located in Plainfield Township, Kent County, Michigan, a Northeastern suburb of Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was a National Blue Ribbon school in 2001. The high school is one of the two high schools in the Northview Public Schools system.

Ahavas Israel Cemetery is located at 1801 Garfield Avenue in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It is the cemetery for the Conservative Ahavas Israel congregation. The Ahavas Achim Cemetery was created in 1916 by members of the Ahavas Achim and the Workmen's Circle. The Ahavas Achim was a conservative community founded by Orthodox members that had split from Grand Rapid's Temple Beth Israel in 1908. The Workmen's Circle was a service organisation for Jewish men. Temple Beth Israel and Ahavas Achim eventually merged in 1947, having begun discussions on a merger in 1937 prompted by the financial pressures of maintaining two Orthodox congregations in the midst of the Great Depression in the United States. The cemetery was renamed the Ahavas Israel Cemetery in 1962.

Alpine Township is a civil township of Kent County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 13,336 at the 2010 census.The township is part of the Grand Rapids metropolitan area and is located just northwest of the city of Grand Rapids.

West Catholic High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan was opened in 1962 by loans from Kenowa Hills Public Schools. It is located within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Grand Rapids.
