West Catholic High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan was opened in 1962 by loans from Kenowa Hills Public Schools. It is located within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Grand Rapids.

Villa Maria is a retirement community located at 1315 Walker NW in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The campus was originally operated for the purpose of ministering to troubled young women. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

DeltaPlex Arena & Conference Center (formerly Grand Rapids Stadium, Stadium Arena, and Turner Arena) is a 5,000-seat multipurpose arena in Walker, Michigan, United States. It was the home of the Grand Rapids Gold of the NBA G League and the Grand Rapids Wanderers of the Major Arena Soccer League 3. It was built in 1952 and since then the DeltaPlex sports, entertainment and convention complex has grown around the arena. The arena is a 23,000-square-foot (2,000 m2) space, which has a 52-foot (16 m) ceiling, seats up to 8,000 for concerts and has 1,088 loge seats. It has a 60-by-56-foot portable stage. DeltaPlex Arena is a venue usable for not only sports and concerts but also trade shows, conventions, concerts and special events. The Arena is set to close for good in July of 2022.

WTKG (1230 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a talk radio format. Licensed to Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States, and now owned by iHeartMedia, Inc., Previous to adopting the current calls and format in 1997, the station played country under the WJEF (the station on which radio Hall of Famer Wally Phillips started his career) and WCUZ calls.

The American Seating Company Factory Complex is a historic manufacturing plant located at 801 Broadway Avenue NW in Grand Rapids, Michigan, used by the American Seating company. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

The Basilica of St. Adalbert is a minor basilica of the Catholic Church and a parish church of the Catholic Diocese of Grand Rapids in Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States. Its namesake and patron is St. Adalbert of Prague (c. 956 – 23 April 997), bishop and martyr, and a Patron of Poland, the nation from which the Basilica's original parishioners emigrated.

Union High School is one of the five high schools in Grand Rapids Public School district. Union has a student population of around 1,200 students for the 2010/2011 school year. The former principal was Justin Jennings, along with assistant principals Aida Toledo and Belinda Jimenez. Union offers a wide range of opportunities for students the Grand Rapids area, it is the Art Hub for all art classes in the district and is the home of the School of Construction and Design. Union is a diverse school. Within the school there are students from many cultural backgrounds, it is common to hear multiple languages be spoken throughout the building, by both staff and students. Union's mascot is the Red Hawk and the school has a strong athletics program, a strong ROTC program, offers a wide range of after school opportunities and has a diverse collection of elective courses. In the 2012/2013 school year, the principal was Karl Nelson and Belinda Jimenez, Aaron Roussey, and Jessica Maat were assistant principals. As of the 2021 school year, Aaron Roussey is principal. Jessica Maat and Dana Bachelder are assistant principals.

Haskelite Manufacturing Corporation (1917–1956) was a conglomerate of Michigan–based companies. It was located on Broadway Avenue in Grand Rapids, Michigan. They manufactured haskelite plywood for a wide variety of applications and vehicles. Their office headquarters were located in Chicago, Illinois. The Grand Rapids corporation was a spin-off from the Haskell Manufacturing Company in Ludington, Michigan. It was a factory twice the capacity at over 100,000 square feet and designed to make up to ten times as much plywood per day as the Ludington facilities. The plywood at the beginning was needed for World War I military airplane body parts. The plywood later was used in houses, buildings, automobiles and ship construction. Different styles and types of plywood were made for particular niches. The corporation made the largest plywood ever produced, which was used in constructing a particular US Navy boat. A well known use for the Haskelite plywood produced at the Grand Rapids facilities was for the construction of the Spirit of St. Louis, Charles Lindberg's plane.

The Clipper Belt Lacer Company Complex is a complex of seven former factory buildings located at 974-1010 Front Avenue NW in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2023.

The Irving Andrew and Olive Crane Kendall Dean House, also known as Mayflower Place, is a single family home located at 2350 Leonard Street NW in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2023.

The Eliphalet H. Turner House was built as a single-family home located at 731 Front Street NW in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970. The house has been renovated to house a recording studio.

The Monroe Avenue Water Filtration Plant is a municipal water treatment plant located at 430 Monroe Avenue NW in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Built in 1910, it was likely the first water filtration plant in Michigan. In 1945, the plant was the site of the first public introduction of water fluoridation in the United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002. The building now serves as an event center, known as Clearwater Place.
