Northview is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Kent County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 14,541 at the 2010 census. The community is located mostly within Plainfield Township with a very small portion extending into Grand Rapids Township to the south.The community is part of the Grand Rapids metropolitan area and borders the city of Grand Rapids to the south.

Northview High School is located in Plainfield Township, Kent County, Michigan, a Northeastern suburb of Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was a National Blue Ribbon school in 2001. The high school is one of the two high schools in the Northview Public Schools system.

WNWZ (1410 AM, "Magic 104.9") is a radio station broadcasting an Urban Contemporary format, licensed to Grand Rapids, Michigan. The station is simulcast on FM translator W285FO (104.9), licensed to Grand Rapids, and the HD2 subchannel of Hot adult contemporary sister station WLHT-FM 95.7.

Wellspring Preparatory High School, commonly shortened to Wellspring Prep is a charter high school located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Wellsprings Preparatory High School is a comprehensive high school serving 9th–12th grades. It has 430 students. The school was opened in 2010. As of late 2020, the school is now owned and operated by National Heritage Academies. The schools maximum capacity is 700 students. Wellspring Prep is currently being chartered by Bay Mills Community College in Brimley, Michigan. As of early 2019, Wellspring Prep has an early college program for students through Davenport University.

LMCU Ballpark is a baseball stadium located in Comstock Park, Michigan, just north of Grand Rapids. Established as Old Kent Park in 1994, the stadium hosts a minor league baseball team, the West Michigan Whitecaps, and other sporting events. The ballpark's Fifth Third Burger was featured on an episode of Man v. Food. A fire damaged some of the first base side of the stadium on January 3, 2014, but the stadium re-opened in time to host the Whitecaps for the 2014 season.

Kuyper College is a ministry-focused Christian leadership college in Grand Rapids, Michigan that educates and trains Christian leaders for ministry and service. City High Middle School is a secondary school operated by the Grand Rapids Public Schools in the greater Grand Rapids, Michigan area.

Creston High School opened in 1923 as Creston Junior High School, with its first class graduating in 1927. This school was one of the five high schools in Grand Rapids, Michigan. At its peak, it housed around one thousand students and over fifty teachers making the teacher to student ratio about 1:20. The school mascot was the polar bear. The colors were blue and gold.

Plainfield Charter Township is a charter township of Kent County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 30,952 at the 2010 census.It is part of the Grand Rapids metropolitan area and is bordered by Grand Rapids on the south.

Comstock Park is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Kent County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 10,088 at the 2010 census. The community is located within Alpine Township to the west and Plainfield Township to the east.The community is part of the Grand Rapids metropolitan area, with the city of Walker to the south and Grand Rapids just to the southeast. Comstock Park is the home of the West Michigan Whitecaps, an affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, who play their games at LMCU Ballpark. The Fred Meijer White Pine Trail State Park also passes through the community.

Eastern Avenue School is a former public school building located at 758 Eastern Avenue NE in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013. As of 2018, the current owner plans to convert the building into apartments.

Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary (Puritan Reformed) is a Calvinist seminary located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The seminary started in 1995 as a school of the Heritage Reformed Congregations, a church association that originated in 1993 from the Netherlands Reformed Congregations. Founded in 1995, PRTS is a graduate school. All of its faculty subscribe the Three Forms of Unity and the Westminster Standards. The current president of Puritan Reformed is Dr. Joel R Beeke.Because the Heritage Reformed Congregations work closely with the Free Reformed Churches of North America (FRC), the latter also supports the Puritan Reformed. Since 1998, the Puritan Reformed has also been the official training of the FRC, the sister churches of the Dutch Christian Reformed Churches.
