St Andrew's Southgate is an Edwardian Church of England church in Chase Side, Southgate, London. It was built in 1903 and consecrated in 1913. It replaced a chapel-of-ease (to the then parish church Christ Church, Southgate) sited in nearby Farm Road since the 1870s, which became known as St Andrew's in the 1890s. St Andrews's gained parish status in 1928.

Founded in 1916, Salcombe is a co-educational preparatory day school for children aged between 3 and 11. The school is located in Chase Side, Southgate, and Green Road, Oakwood, both in North London. Osidge is a district in the London Borough of Barnet, between Brunswick Park and Southgate, just west of the border with the London Borough of Enfield. It may be loosely defined as the part of postal district N14 that is in Barnet. Osidge has no formal border and is entirely enclosed within the electoral ward of Brunswick Park, East Barnet; however Oak Hill Park forms a natural boundary to the North and Pymmes Brook to the West, with the A111 to the East and the Piccadilly line to the South/East. The two main roads in Osidge are Osidge Lane and Hampden Way, which meet at a junction (now roundabout) called Hampden Square. Around the roundabout are three parades of shops and the Osidge Arms pub. To the south-west is an area of green belt land, crossed by Pymmes Brook and leading down to New Southgate Cemetery; an adjacent road, Whitehouse Way, provided the backdrop to scenes from Mike Leigh’s film Secrets and Lies. Nearby school Ashmole Academy was a filming location for Kick-Ass 2.

Minchenden School was a mixed secondary school situated in Southgate, North London, established in 1919 with 90 pupils. Established in 1919, it merged with Arnos School in 1984.

Southgate Cemetery, sometimes known as Edmonton and Southgate Cemetery or Old Southgate Cemetery, is a cemetery in Waterfall Road, Southgate, London, run by the London Borough of Enfield. The cemetery was established by the Southgate Burial Board in 1880. There is no chapel at the cemetery but Christ Church, Southgate, Church of England church is adjacent on the other side of Waterfall Road. The cemetery contains the war graves of 92 Commonwealth service personnel, 20 from World War I and 72 from World War II.

Southgate is a London Underground Piccadilly line station in Southgate. It is located between Arnos Grove and Oakwood stations and is in Travelcard Zone 4.

The Walker Cricket Ground is a trust-operated multi-sport ground at Southgate, in the borough of Enfield and the historic county of Middlesex, London, England. There are three cricket fields, cricket pavilions for two clubs. There are four outdoor tennis courts, and accommodation for rugby union, lacrosse, squash, racketball, hockey, junior-level football, and scout clubs. The ground, previously Chapel Fields, is named after John Walker, the Middlesex player who founded the ground. It was first used by the Middlesex County Cricket Club 1st XI in 1859, but had to wait until 1991 for its next county match, and until 1998 to become a regular Middlesex venue. The ground is used by Southgate Cricket Club and Southgate Adelaide Cricket Club. Southgate House is a grade II* listed building in Southgate, London. Built in the late 18th century, it was once the home of Isaac Walker, father of the Walker brothers, and later of John Lawrence, 1st Baron Lawrence.From 1924 to 1987 it formed part of Minchenden School. It has since been part of Barnet and Southgate College.

Beaver Hall was a country house in Middlesex, England. It was set in grounds of around 40 acres (16 ha) that stood to the east and south of the current Waterfall Road, then known as Waterfall Lane and Church Hill, near the old centre of Southgate. The grounds stretched as far south as the Pymmes Brook where Arnos Park was later built. Beaver Hall was acquired by John Walker of the Taylor-Walker brewing family in 1870. The house was demolished in 1871 and the grounds merged into the adjacent Arnos Grove estate.

Minchenden Oak Garden is a public park in Southgate, London owned by the London Borough of Enfield. It was formerly part of the estate of Minchenden House, demolished in 1853, and opened as a garden of remembrance in 1934. The park is just 0.17 hectares (2,000 sq yd) in size and is accessed by a gate from Waterfall Road. A key feature of the park is the Minchenden Oak, an 800-year-old tree that is one of the oldest in London. The canopy of the tree was described as the largest in England in 1873.

New Southgate Cemetery is a 22-hectare cemetery in Brunswick Park in the London Borough of Barnet. It was established by the Colney Hatch Company in the 1850s and became the Great Northern London Cemetery, with a railway service running from near Kings Cross station to a dedicated station at the cemetery, similar to the service of the London Necropolis Company to Brookwood Cemetery in Surrey. The railway service to Great Northern London Cemetery soon closed, but the cemetery has remained open.
