Riverdale Park–Kenilworth is a light rail station that is currently under construction. It will be part of the Purple Line in Maryland. The station will be located southeast of the intersection of East West Highway and Kenilworth Avenue.

Elizabeth Seton High School is a private, all-girls Roman Catholic high school in Bladensburg, Maryland, United States. It is located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington. Elizabeth Seton High School was established on March 15, 1957, and opened with an enrollment of 138 freshmen and a faculty of six Daughters of Charity in September 1959. As early as 1965, the Maryland State Department of Education issued a Certificate of Approval to the school and in 1968 the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools accredited Elizabeth Seton High School. Elizabeth Seton was named one of 10 private schools of distinction by The Washington Post in 2005.

ATTS is a part of the East Coast Greenway, a 3,000-mile-long system of trails connecting Maine to Florida and the American Discovery Trail, a trail system stretching from the Delaware coast to San Francisco.

Capital Plaza Mall (the region now known as simply Capital Plaza) was a shopping mall located at the intersection of Annapolis Road (Maryland Route 450) and the Baltimore–Washington Parkway in Landover Hills, Maryland. It was built between 1961 and 1963, as a regional shopping center to serve the Bladensburg and Landover area of suburban Washington, D.C. The mall was a major attraction in Prince George's County, until its slow decline that began in the 1970s. This continued until the mall's closure in 2005, and ultimately its demolition in 2007. Part of the grounds are now occupied by a Wal-Mart store.

Bladensburg High School is a public high school located in Bladensburg, Maryland, United States. The school, which serves grades 9 through 12, is a part of the Prince George's County Public Schools district. The school serves: the towns of Bladensburg, Colmar Manor, and Cottage City, as well almost all of the Town of Cheverly, portions of the towns of Edmonston and Riverdale Park, a small section of the City of Hyattsville, and sections of East Riverdale and Landover census-designated places. In addition the school serves students from all across the county that are selected to enroll in its prestigious Biomedical Program.

Parkdale High School (PHS) is a public high school located in Riverdale Park, Maryland, United States. It is part of the Prince George's County Public Schools system. Enrollment was 2,354 students in grades nine through twelve as of 2020. Parkdale High School serves: portions of Riverdale Park and East Riverdale, all of Woodlawn, and the majority of New Carrollton.It hosts an International Baccalaureate (IB) magnet program.
