Isipathana College

Colts Cricket Club Ground is a cricket ground on Park Road in Havelock Town, Colombo, Sri Lanka, in the south-east corner of Havelock Park. It has been the home of Colts Cricket Club since 1971. The ground is a regular venue for first-class and List A cricket matches and has also hosted many women's cricket matches. It has also hosted some Youth Tests and ODIs. As of late December 2016 it had hosted 188 first-class matches.

Edward Henry Pedris Grounds (also known as Edward Henry Pedris Stadium or Pedris Grounds) is a multi-purpose stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Located in the northern portion of Havelock Park, it is currently used for football, rugby union and basketball matches. Named after the national hero, Captain Duenuge Edward Henry Pedris, it is managed by the Isipathana College.

Isipathanaramaya Temple is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Located in Havelock Town it was built in 1916 by Duenuge Disan Pedris, a wealthy merchant, in memory of his only son Henry Pedris who was executed by British officials for alleged incitement of racial riots in 1915, which were proven false. The temple was constructed on a 2 ha (4.9 acres) property that Pedris had purchased in 1905.The murals in the temple were painted by Maligawe Sarlis(1880-1955) in 1920-21. The murals have been described as "exuberant, theatrical recastings of the traditional subjects of Buddhist temple art, in a vivid realist style".In the late 1950s the Greenlands Road which located close to it was renamed Isipathana Mawatha and the Greenlands College that was located in close proximity was renamed Isipathana Maha Vidyalaya. In November 2016 a 12 m (39 ft) statue of Buddha, in a standing posture built at a cost of Rs. 4.5 million, was unveiled at the temple by President Maithripala Sirisena.

Dudley Senanayake College is situated in Park Road Close to Anderson Flats (Colombo 05, Sri Lanka). The school has nearly 2000 students. This school is popular for sports like cricket and rugby. It has a long history as a school but still lacks popularity around Sri Lanka. In its 39-year history it has produced many graduates including doctors, engineers chemists, teachers and much more. Until the year 2000 it didn't have Advanced/Level classes. First A/L batch faced its exam in the year 2000 in Arts steam. All above mentioned science graduates are the students of Dudley Senanayake College until their Ordinary/Level. Since there were no science A/L they are compelled to go to some other school. Dudley Senanayake Vidyalaya had a wonderful primary section during latter part of 80s to 2000. It produced many scholars which later became very bright and brilliant students of popular schools of Sri Lankan. Havelock City is a large mixed-use real-estate project in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The Residential component of the project consists of 8 residential towers and the Commercial component of the project consists of a 46-storey office tower and a Shopping Mall built to international standards. It is popular for its clubhouse, 7-acre garden, and the overall size of the project. The first 4 residential towers, namely Park Tower and Elibank Tower (of construction Phase-1), and Layards Tower and Davidson Tower (of construction Phase-2), were completed as at early 2017 with 22 floors each, and is currently occupied by residents. Phase-3 is currently under construction, and will consist of the Stratford Tower and Melford Tower, with 28 floors each. Piling for Phase-4 was done with Phase-3 to expedite development. Both phases is estimated to cost over US$130 million.At a cost of US$ 166 million, the 46-storey commercial skyscraper will have 600,000 sq ft (56,000 m2) of office space and 200,000 sq ft (19,000 m2) for the shopping mall. The ground-breaking ceremony for the commercial component was ceremonially conducted on 29 December 2016 with the auspices of S P Tao, the chairman of Overseas Realty, along with other dignitaries such as ministers Mangala Samaraweera and Champika Ranawaka.

Havelock Park (Sinhala: හැව්ලොක් පාර්ක්) is a multi-purpose stadium in Havelock Town, Colombo Sri Lanka. It is one of the oldest grounds in the country. The sporting complex is located in Havelock Town and is bordered by Havelock Road, Park Road and Isipathana Mawatha.

Elizabeth Moir School, founded in 1996, is a co-educational, international day school in Colombo, Sri Lanka. It is attended by children aged between 2-18 of a wide variety of nationalities . Since the school started in 1996, it has enrolled students from over 74 different countries. Currently, approximately 45% of the students are from the host country and the balance (55%) are from expatriate families resident in Sri Lanka.

The Department of Survey of Sri Lanka (also known as the Department of the Surveyor General) (Sinhala: ශ්‍රී ලංකා මිනින්දෝරු දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව Shri Lanka Minindoru Departhamenthuwa) is a non-ministerial government department in Sri Lanka. Established on 2 August 1800, it is the oldest unchanged government department in the country. The department is responsible for national surveying and mapping. It is also the national focal point of GIS and Remote Sensing with representation in the Global Mapping Project organised by the International Steering Committee for Global Mapping (ISCGM). The head of the department is Surveyor General of Sri Lanka.

Hindu College Colombo (Tamil: இந்துக் கல்லூரி, கொழும்பு) or abbreviated as HCC is a Tamil language National School situated at Bambalapitiya, in the suburb of Colombo, Sri Lanka. It was founded in 1951. This school was started with the name of "பிள்ளையார் பாடசாலை" (Pillayar Paadasaalai) by Justice C. Nagalingam Q.C. Hindu College Colombo is now considered as one of the most prominent Tamil national schools in the country due to its reputation in the way of providing education. Mr.Nagendra is the current principal of the school, who took charge as the position of principal on 29 May 2023.

Havelock Town is a neighbourhood of Colombo, Sri Lanka, part of an area zoned as Colombo 5. It is located approximately 6 kilometres south of Fort, the central business district of Colombo. Havelock City, a mixed-used development in Havelock Town is to be the largest property development in Sri Lanka incorporating residential and commercial facilities.It is named after Arthur Havelock who served as the British governor of Ceylon from 1890 to 1895.

The Ministry of Labour and Foreign Employment (Sinhala: කම්කරු හා විදේශ රැකියා අමාත්‍යාංශය; Tamil: தொழில் மற்றும் வெளிநாட்டு வேலைவாய்ப்பு அமைச்சு) is the central government ministry of Sri Lanka responsible for labour, foreign employment services and development of Petroleum Resources. The ministry is responsible for formulating and implementing national policy on labour and other subjects which come under its purview. The current Minister of Labour and Foreign Employment is Manusha Nanayakkara. The ministry's secretary is S. M. Gotabaya Jayaratna.
