Lewisburg is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, United States. The community is located 7 miles (11.27 kilometres) south of Covington, Louisiana. It was first listed as a CDP in the 2020 census with a population of 420.

Seven Sisters Oak, located in Mandeville, Louisiana, is a notably large southern live oak in Louisiana. The tree was originally registered at the Live Oak Society as "Doby’s Seven Sisters" (No. 200) because the Doby family owned the property where the tree was located and Mrs. Doby was one of seven sisters. The tree was renamed "Seven Sisters Oak" and reregistered at the Live Oak Society as member number 697. Seven Sisters Oak is the current president of the Live Oak Society, a status awarded to it by being the largest live oak registered by the society. Although there was some controversy as to whether the oak was one tree or several trees that had grown together, an inspection by professional foresters in 1976 determined that the tree developed from a single root system.In 2016, Seven Sisters Oak had a girth of 39.6 ft (12.1 m) (measured at 1.6 ft (0.49 m) height). At that time, the tree's total height was 57 ft (17 m). In 2018, its limb spread exceeded 153 ft (47 m). The age of Seven Sisters Oak has been estimated at between 500 and 1,000 years old.

Mandeville is a city in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, United States. Its population was 11,560 at the 2010 U.S. census, and 13,192 at the 2020 United States census. Mandeville is located on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain, south of Interstate 12. It is across the lake from the city of New Orleans and its southshore suburbs. It is part of the New Orleans–Metairie–Kenner metropolitan area.

The Morel-Nott House, on Lake Pontchartrain in Mandeville in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2019.It is a French Creole raised cottage which was built in the 1830s or 1840s. It was moved to its present location on the edge of Mandeville in 1965 in order to preserve it. It is an example of Creole architecture in the United States.

The Johnson House, in Mandeville in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, was substantially built c.1915, redeveloping from a c.1890 predecessor. It is located three blocks from Lake Pontchartrain. It has been marketed as an event venue, Maison Lafitte, with phrase "circa 1880".It is a "mansion" on a "lush" 1.3 acres (0.53 ha) property.It was purchased in about 1915 by Thomas Johnson and his wife Mary Celeste, who maintained homes in New Orleans and Mandeville, and who developed it in Mediterranean Revival and/or Craftsman style. It was home to Johnson descendants until 2001.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

It is a galleried corner commercial building located two blocks from Lake Pontchartrain in "Old Mandeville", a late nineteenth/early twentieth century neighborhood. It was built c.1900 and "evolved into its present appearance by the mid-1930s."It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997. It was deemed locally significant as "one of few buildings remaining to represent the commercial history of Mandeville. Additionally, it is particularly important because it personifies the look of old Mandeville."It is located on the corner of Jefferson St. and Lafitte St. in Mandeville.

The Dew Drop Social and Benevolent Hall, in Mandeville, Louisiana, was built in 1895. It was home of the 1885-founded mutual assistance/social organization, the "Dew Drop Social and Benevolent No. 2 of Mandeville". it served as a meeting hall and as the venue for dances.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.It is located on the 400 block of Lamarque St. in Mandeville.It was deemed significant "as a major center of social life for African-Americans in the Mandeville area. It is also of significance within southern Louisiana as a rare surviving African-American benevolent association hall. Because all available evidence indicates that the building's heyday as a social center and benevolent association hall ended c.1940, that date is being used to end the period of significance."

Fairview-Riverside State Park is a tourist attraction 2 miles (3.2 km) east of Madisonville, Louisiana, United States. Its 99 acres (400,000 m2) is set along the banks of the Tchefuncte River. Within the park is the Otis House Museum, built in 1885, which was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999. Visitors go to Fairview-Riverside to camp, and for water sports and fishing. The park has 100 campsites, a short nature trail, and a boardwalk which reveals forested wetlands along the Tchefuncte River.The park was featured in the 8th season of The Amazing Race.

The Bertus-Ducatel House, at 1721 Lakeshore Dr. in Mandeville, Louisiana, was built around 1839. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.It is French Creole in style. It was built with brick-between-post (briquette entre poteaux) construction, which is rare in the United States outside of New Orleans.It has also been known as Little Flower Villa.
