Pali Naka

Khar (Marathi pronunciation: [kʰaːɾ]) is an affluent suburb of Mumbai, north of Bandra and south of Santacruz, Mumbai. Originally one of the 'villages' that made up the larger Bandra, the present suburb is divided into Khar West and Khar East areas. It is serviced by Khar Road railway station of the Mumbai Suburban Railway network. It is an area within convenient distances of several schools, restaurants, parks, promenades and shopping centres. Khar bears the Mumbai Postal Index Number (Pin Code) 400052. Khar, which is derived from the word Khāra (meaning 'salty' in the local language Marathi) has acquired this name in reference to the salt pans that were used to farm salt by locals near the Khar Danda sea shore a couple of centuries ago. Here, one also finds the historic fishing village of "Khar Danda", which is one of the villages that made up the original Bandra area and is also one of the oldest settlements of Mumbai.

Gopaldas Jhamatmal Advani Law College (GJALC) is a law school in Mumbai, India. It has been listed among the most preferred Law Colleges in the West Zone of India. It is considered to be a top college for legal studies in Mumbai. GJALC was established in 1977 by the Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board (HSNC). It was established as an affiliated college to the University of Mumbai and recognised by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi, for teaching a 3-year degree course in law (LL.B.). The alumni of the college hold prestigious positions in the field of law.

St. Andrew's College is a Roman Catholic college in the Bandra suburb of Mumbai, India. The college was inaugurated on 9 July 1983 by Simon Pimenta, Archbishop of Bombay (1978–1996), with 194 students. It is an under-graduate college offering junior and degree courses with a student strength of over 4,000.

St. Andrew's High School is a high school located in the western suburbs of Bandra, in Mumbai, India. The school is in the process of receiving its heritage status from BMC heritage committee.

Pali Hill is an affluent residential area spread across the adjoined suburbs of Bandra and Khar in Mumbai, India (sharing postal codes 400050 and 400052 respectively).

K B Bhabha Hospital (popularly known as Bhabha Hospital) is a public hospital in Bandra (west) in Mumbai, India. It was established by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai. Bhabha Hospital is one of the hospitals in the city where a huge number of accident or disaster victims turn up. It is behind Globus mall, on Waterfield Road, Bandra. During the COVID-19 pandemic in India the hospital ran out of oxygen several times.

The Carter Road Promenade is a 1.25 kilometre-long walkway along the sea on the western coast of Mumbai, India. This promenade was opened up to the public in January 2002. The promenade has been managed by the Bandra West Residents' Association. The Carter Road Promenade extends up to Khar Danda. In May 2008, Carter Road was renamed as Sangeet Samrat Naushad Ali Marg, in the memory of Naushad Ali, a music director.

Hill Road (officially renamed as Ramdas Nayak Road) is an arterial road in Bandra (West), Mumbai, India. It starts from the intersection of Bandra railway station road and Swami Vivekanand Road (SV Road) and goes west up to Mehboob Studio, leading to the Bandstand Promenade, the Bandra Fort, and Mount Mary Church, Bandra. Hill Road houses a number of old and new brands. The 165-year-old St. Stanislaus High School, and its adjoining St. Peter's church, St. Joseph's girls' school, the Apostolic Carmel convent school and St. Andrew's Church (Mumbai) all lie on Hill road. Two hospitals, Bhabha hospital and Holy Family Hospital also lie on Hill road. The Tata Parsi agiary built in 1873 is a prominent landmark on Hill road.

Kherwadi is a middle class, developing neighborhood, situated on the eastern side of Bandra railway station, Mumbai. Its name is derived from the first chief minister of Bombay State, B. G. Kher. It is surrounded by the CBD of BKC to the east, Mahim to the south, Khar to the north and S.V. Road to the west. It is well connected to all the parts of Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane. Western Expressway passes through Kherwadi junction, a signal intersection situated in Kherwadi. It was first developed by MHADA, with 35 buildings with each building having 56 flats, with each flat being a 1 Room Kitchen, presently being redeveloped into highrises by private builders. It also consists of the affluent upper-middle-class neighborhood of New MIG Colony consisting of 14 Buildings, Having 2 BHK flat system. The Naupada or Behrampada slums are situated behind the New MIG Colony.

Vandre West Assembly constituency is one of the 288 Vidhan Sabha constituencies of Maharashtra state in western India, since 2008. Vandre, also known as Bandra, is a suburb of Mumbai. Before the 2008 delimitation of assembly seats, this seat's area was covered under Vandre Assembly constituency, represented by Ramdas Nayak among others.

Holy Family Hospital founded in 1942, is a private hospital in India. It is located in Bandra, Mumbai on Hill Road. The hospital has 268 beds, and is administered by The Bandra Holy Family Hospital Society, a non-proft charitable trust. Holy Family Hospital is Mumbai's first hospital with a hybrid cath lab and in October 2010, one of the three centres in India with such facilities.

Its Chief Executive Officer is Dr. Vishal Beri.It has plans to expand its nationwide capacity to 5,000 beds, besides setting up radiology and pathology diagnostic centres, emergency ambulance services and pharmacy retail outlets across India.
