Anson Branch

Darlaston Town (1874) Football Club is an English association football club that represents the town of Darlaston, West Midlands. They are currently members of the Midland League Premier Division and play at the Bentley Sports Pavilion, Darlaston in the Metropolitan Borough of Walsall.

Darlaston James Bridge railway station was a station built on the Grand Junction Railway in 1837, serving the James Bridge area east of the town centre of Darlaston, near the junction of Walsall Road and Bentley Mill Way. Prior to September 1863 the station was, at various times, suffixed James' Bridge, James's Bridge and Green. On 14 September 1863 a station was opened on the Darlaston Loop off the South Staffordshire Line which was named Darlaston. The original station then became known as James Bridge. On 1 November 1887 the 'new' Darlaston station closed and the original station changed its name to James Bridge for Darlaston. In March 1889 the name changed to Darlaston and James Bridge.

The Bentley Canal is an abandoned canal that was part of the Birmingham Canal Navigations. A very short section still exists where it joins the Wyrley and Essington Canal in Wolverhampton. From there it headed generally southeast through Willenhall and Walsall and connected with the Anson Branch and thus the Walsall Canal. The main line opened in 1843, with the Neachell Hall Branch following two years later. The branch closed in 1953 and the main line in the early 1960s.

The James Bridge Copper Works was a copper refining plant in Walsall, Staffordshire, England. It was established as a smelting plant in 1917 on a site formerly used for ironstone and coal mining and as a brickworks. From 1920 it was owned by the Wolverhampton Metal Company who expanded the works. It was temporarily closed in 1931–2 because of local pollution issues and during the Second World War due to blackout regulations. After the war the plant specialised in reclamation of copper from waste materials and became a leader in that field, helping to alleviate a national shortage of copper; by 1964 the plant had electrowinning facilities. The works were purchased by Imperial Metal Industries Limited in 1967 and the electrowinning facilities were greatly expanded over the following decades. The site closed in 1999. The site had been heavily contaminated by its industrial use and came into the ownership of Walsall Council, who proposed remediation works by 2011, and Homes England. The site, known as Phoenix 10, was proposed for redevelopment into commercial units and permission for this was granted in April 2021. Henry Boot plc commenced remediation works in May 2021.

E-ACT West Walsall Academy (WWA, formerly Alumwell Business and Enterprise College) is an 11–18 mixed secondary school and sixth form with academy status in Walsall, West Midlands, England. It was a community school that was established in 1971 and had Business and Enterprise College status since September 2003. It adopted its present name after becoming an academy in 2012.

St Andrew's Church is a Free Church of England church in Bentley, Walsall, West Midlands. Three services are held weekly, Sunday at 10am, 11:30am and 6pm. The minister is Mark Spiers. Family praise leader is Matthew Spiers. The bishop is Paul Hunt. There are youth groups with 30-40 members, a lunch club, a friendship group, prayer meetings, bible study, and a coffee and chat program.

Wednesbury Rugby Club is a rugby union club based in Wednesbury, West Midlands, England. It was founded in 1921 and is the home of the world's tallest rugby posts.Fabricated from steel tube by Irvon steel and galvanized by Joseph Ash, the posts stand 38.26 m (125.5 ft; 1,506 in) high, and needed a special crane to help erect them. The posts surpassed the previous tallest of 110 ft 1/2 in (33.54 m) that can be found at the Roan Antelope club in Zambia, Africa.The club currently stands in the Midlands 4 North West League and regularly runs out two teams on a weekly basis, A 1st XV playing the league and cup matches and a Development (2nd XV) Team playing the in Merit League. Wednesbury Rugby Club have also in the past 12 months (2019-2020) relaunched their youth and mini teams, gaining over 50 new youth and mini players in preparation to join the leagues and play competitive rugby at all age groups.

Darlaston Town Hall is a municipal building in Victoria Road in Darlaston, a town in the West Midlands of England. The building, which is currently leased to a charity which manages local community activities, is a locally listed building.

Bentley is an area in the Metropolitan Borough of Walsall located around Junction 10 of the M6 Motorway. It is also a rural village of houses towards its eastern sides. It shares borders with the areas of Willenhall, Beechdale, Ashmore Park, Pleck, Darlaston and Alumwell.

The Darlaston Loop was a railway which connected the towns of Walsall, Darlaston and Wednesbury in the West Midlands of England. It was so named because it passed through the town of Darlaston.
