Wapping Dock

Park Lane was the world's first goods terminus on the Liverpool and Manchester Railway serving the south end Liverpool Docks. The station was opened in 1830. Its initial name was Wapping Station. The goods station was accessed from Edge Hill rail junction in the east of the city via the 1.26 miles (2.03 km) long Wapping Tunnel. The goods station suffered from heavy German air raids during the Second World War, being mostly rebuilt after the conflict. The station along with the Wapping Tunnel was closed in 1972 and subsequently demolished. The tunnel remains intact.

King's Dock was a dock on the River Mersey in England and part of the Port of Liverpool. It was situated in the southern dock system, connected to Wapping Dock to the north and Queen's Dock to the south. It consisted of two branch docks.

Wapping Dock railway station was on the Liverpool Overhead Railway, adjacent to the dock of the same name. It was primarily used for access to the large warehouses nearby.It was opened on 6 March 1893 by the Marquis of Salisbury. The station received some damage during the Liverpool Blitz.The station closed, along with the rest of the line on 30 December 1956. No evidence of this station remains, save for a small number of supporting columns set into the walls at Wapping.

Exhibition Centre Liverpool is a multi-million pound exhibition centre, the latest addition to Liverpool event campus, alongside interconnected sister venues ACC Liverpool and M&S Bank Arena.

The John Lennon Peace Monument, also known as the European Peace Monument, is a peace monument entitled Peace & Harmony in Liverpool, England, dedicated to the memory of John Lennon. Peace & Harmony was unveiled by Julian and Cynthia Lennon at a ceremony in Chavasse Park, Liverpool, on Saturday 9 October 2010 to celebrate what would have been John Lennon's 70th birthday. The monument is now on the waterfront adjacent to ACC Liverpool at Kings Dock.

Liverpool Arena, known for sponsorship reasons as the M&S Bank Arena, and previously Echo Arena, is a multi-purpose indoor arena in the city centre of Liverpool, England. The venue hosts live music, comedy performances and sporting events, and forms part of Liverpool event campus ACC Liverpool – an interconnected arena, exhibition and convention centre. The venue serves a regional population of 2.5 million people and over 6.6 million across England's North West.

The Wheel of Liverpool is a transportable Ferris wheel installation on the Keel Wharf waterfront of the River Mersey in Liverpool. It was dismantled refurbishment in the Netherlands in November 2020 and rebuilt in Spring 2021. The wheel is near to M&S Bank Arena Liverpool, and was originally opened on 25 March 2010. The structure is 196 feet (60 m) tall, weighing 365 tonnes and has 42 fully enclosed capsules attached. The wheel had been planned for three years by the company Great City Attractions. They submitted a planning application which explained that it would increase tourism in Liverpool. A smaller observation wheel had been operational in the city, which was located at the Liverpool One leisure complex. This was dismantled because of the plans to open the Wheel of Liverpool. Construction was completed on 11 February 2010 at a cost of £6 million. The wheel was closed for a short time following Great City Attractions going into administration. Freij Entertainment International purchased the attraction and it is operated by their subsidiary Wheels Entertainments Ltd. In November of 2020 Freij Entertainment International dismantled the wheel without warning or explanation. This was later explained as a planned refurbishment. The wheel was rebuilt in Spring of 2021 and reopened in the summer of 2021. In October 2013, the Wheel of Liverpool was struck by lightning but did not sustain any damage.

Queen's Dock is a dock on the River Mersey and part of the Port of Liverpool. It is situated in the southern dock system, connected to Wapping Dock to the north and Coburg Dock to the south.

Duke's Dock is a dock on the River Mersey, England, and part of the Port of Liverpool. It is in the southern dock system, connected to Salthouse Dock and Wapping Dock to the east. The Albert Dock is located immediately north, although not directly accessible by water.

ACC Liverpool is a multipurpose arena and convention centre (ACC) on the former Kings Dock, Liverpool, England. Opened in May 2008, it is part of Liverpool event campus - an interconnected arena, convention and exhibition centre - positioned on the banks of Liverpool's world heritage waterfront. In 2016, the 4* Pullman Liverpool Hotel was opened, offering luxury accommodation with its 216 bedrooms.

Gustav Adolf Church (Swedish: Gustav Adolfs kyrka) or the Scandinavian Seamen's Church (Swedish: Skandinaviska sjömanskyrkan) is a historical building located in Park Lane, Liverpool, Merseyside, England. It consists of a church, built between 1883 and 1884, and an attached minister's house, and provides a centre for the Liverpool International Nordic Community. The combined church and minister's house is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building.

The Liverpool Summer Pops is a summer music event in Liverpool. Now being branded as "Liverpool Summer Pops Festival", the event features performances by bands and artists in one venue over consecutive nights, as well as some events in other 'fringe' venues.
