Lillsjön (Ulvsunda)

Ulvsunda is a district in Bromma in western Stockholm, just east of Stockholm Bromma Airport, built around Ulvsunda Castle, a 17th-century castle.

Abrahamsberg is a station on the Green line of the Stockholm metro. It is located on the border between the districts of Ulvsunda and Abrahamsberg, which are part of the borough of Bromma in the west of the city of Stockholm. The station is above ground and has a single island platform, with access from underpass carrying Abrahamsbergsvägen under the line.The station lies on the route of a line known as the Ängbybanan that formerly linked Alvik and Islandstorget. The Ängbybanan was designed and built for use by the future metro, but was operated from 1944 as part of line 11 of the Stockholm tramway. Abrahamsberg station was inaugurated as part of the metro on 26 October 1952 with the conversion of the Ängbybanan and its extension to form the metro line between Hötorget and Vällingby.As part of Art in the Stockholm metro project, this station features tiling in both the ticket hall and stairwell in a grey scale. A stoneware frieze in the ticket hall, created by Rigmor Roxner was installed in 1999.

Abrahamsberg is a residential district in the Västerort section of Stockholm Municipality, Sweden, and part of the Bromma borough. It is bordered by Riksby, Stora Mossen, Ålsten, Olovslund and Åkeslund and is served by the Abrahamsberg metro station. The district was developed with small blocks of flats in yellow brick, and is therefore sometimes called den gula staden (the yellow city). As of December 2013 it had 3,154 residents.

The parish forms its own pastorship. The parish is located in Västerort and includes the districts Södra Ängby, Norra Ängby, Bromma kyrka, Blackeberg, Mariehäll, Åkeslund and Riksby.

Huvudstabron (Swedish: "The Huvudsta Bridge") is a bridge in Sweden. Stretching over Bällstaviken it connects the industrial area Ulvsunda in the municipality Stockholm to the city district Huvudsta in the municipality Solna. I first bridge at the location was put forward in the 1930s, but was never realized until the general plan of 1960 when plans for the never realized arterial road Huvudstaleden was being discussed. Huvudstabron was built 1964–67 as a first stage in the project.It is a pre-stressed concrete structure, 286 metres in length with six spans of which the central passing over the strait below is the longest with a span of 100 metres; it is 28.2 metres wide with two 3 metres wide footways separated from the roadway by railings; and a horizontal clearance of 24 metres.

The Ängbybanan, which included the elevated tracks at Brommaplan now used by the metro, was designed and built for use by the future metro, but was operated from 1944 as part of line 11 of the Stockholm tramway. Brommaplan station was inaugurated as part of the metro on 26 October 1952 with the conversion of the Ängbybanan and its extension to form the metro line between Hötorget and Vällingby.As part of Art in the Stockholm metro project, the station received a composition in glass, stainless sheet metal and aluminium referring to the history of aviation and the nearby Bromma Airport. The artwork was created by Peter Svedberg and installed in 1996

Bromma (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈbrɔ̂mːa]) is a borough (stadsdelsområde) in the western part of Stockholm, Sweden, forming part of the Stockholm Municipality. Bromma is primarily made up of Bromma Parish and Västerled Parish . The fourth largest airport in Sweden and the third largest of the airports close to Stockholm, the Stockholm Bromma Airport, was first built in Bromma in 1936. The south-eastern part of Bromma is one of the richest areas in Stockholm.

Solna strand (known as Vreten until 18 August 2014) is a subway station on the Stockholm metro blue line. It was opened on 18 August 1985 as part of the extension between Västra skogen and Rinkeby and is located in the Huvudsta region of the Solna Municipality. The platform is located in bedrock, 28 m (92 ft) below ground level under Vretenvägen. The entrance is in the north end at Korta gatan. The station's theme is defined by artwork created by the Japanese-Swedish sculptor Takashi Naraha in 1985 called Himmelen av kub (The heaven of cube). It is located in and named after Solna Strand, a former industrial area on the shore of Lake Mälaren that has since developed into an area of office buildings. Organisations here include the Swedish Tax Authority, Hewlett-Packard and Axfood. There is also a power plant by the coast. Until 2014 the area was called Vretens industriområde (Vreten industrial area), after the farmstead called Vreten which was located here in the 19th century. Solna Business Park is located across the Mälaren Line railway to the north, and the Sundbyberg Municipality districts Lilla Alby and Central Sundbyberg are located to the west.

Lilla Alby is a district in the southern corner of Sundbyberg Municipality, Sweden. It lies southwest of the railway Mälaren Line. It is separated from Bromma (Stockholm Municipality) by bay Bällstaviken (part of lake Mälaren) to the southwest, and borders Solna Municipality to the south and east, and Centrala Sundbyberg to the north. Lilla Alby has 4,235 citizens (as of 2013).
