Sherwood is a residential neighbourhood in the northwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Located near the north edge of the city, it is bounded by Sarcee Trail to the west, the Nolan Hill community across 128 Avenue N.W./ Symons Valley Parkway to the north, the Kincora community across Shaganappi Trail to the east, and the Hamptons community across Stoney Trail to the south. It is one of five communities located within the Symons Valley area.Sherwood is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 2 councillor.

It is located close to the northern edge of the city, and is bounded to the north by Stoney Trail, to the east by Shaganappi Trail, to the south by Country Hills Boulevard, and to the west by Sarcee Trail. The land was annexed in two stages, the southern area in 1976 and the northern one in 1989. The Hamptons was established as a neighbourhood in 1990. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 2 councillor.The community is home to an Olympic size hockey rink and an annual Stampede breakfast.

Located near the north edge of the city, it is bounded by the Nolan Hill community across Shaganappi Trail to the west, 144 Avenue N.W. to the north, the Evanston community to the east, and the Kincora community across 128 Avenue N.W. to the south. It is one of five communities located within the Symons Valley area. West Nose Creek flows through the eastern portion of the community.Sage Hill is located within Calgary City Council's Ward 2.

Edgemont is a residential neighbourhood in northwest Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and is located north of the community of Dalhousie. It is also bounded by John Laurie Boulevard to the south, Sarcee Trail to the west, Country Hills Boulevard to the north, and Shaganappi Trail to the east. Much of Edgemont is a northwest extension of Nose Hill, as evidenced by the steep escarpments at the southeast end of the community. Hawkwood is a residential neighbourhood in the northwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is bounded to the north by Country Hills Boulevard, to the east by Sarcee Trail, to the south by John Laurie Boulevard, and to the west by Nose Hill Drive. Hawkwood was established in 1981. It was named for a dairy farming family who came to Alberta from England in 1913. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 2 councillor.

MacEwan Glen (commonly known as MacEwan) is a neighbourhood in northwest Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The primarily low-density residential community is the only community that is directly attached to Nose Hill Park and is bounded by Country Hills Boulevard to the north, 14 Street NW to the east, Shaganappi Trail to the west, and Nose Hill Park to the south. Development of the community began in 1978, and was completed in the late 1990s. It was named for John Walter Grant MacEwan, Calgary mayor and Lieutenant Governor of Alberta. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 3 councillor, Jasmine Mian.
