Hamilton Township Schoolhouse No. 4, also known as the Brady House, is a historic school building located at Hamilton Township, Delaware County, Indiana. It was built in 1897, and is a 1+1⁄2-story, three-bay, brick building with a gable roof. It rests on a raised stone foundation, has a square bell tower above the entrance, and two brick chimneys. The school was abandoned in 1899 and converted to a residence between 1917 and 1919.: 2 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

It encompasses 25 contributing buildings in a predominantly residential section of Muncie. The district developed between about 1839 and 1930, and includes notable examples of Greek Revival and Colonial Revival style architecture. Notable buildings include the Thomas Kirby House (1839), William F. Spencer House (1909), John Fitzgibbons House (1918), Theopharia A. Hough House (1909), Pearl Hopkins House (1893), and Edward R. Templar House (1905).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

The school was part of the Muncie Community Schools Corp. It opened on September 6, 1962 and closed on June 13, 2014. The school was located at 1601 E. 26th Street. The graduating class of 2014 was the final graduating class, the building has become a middle school, and high school students have consolidated into one high school at Muncie Central High School.

The trading post, renamed Muncietown, was selected as the Delaware County seat and platted in 1827. Its name was officially shortened to Muncie in 1845 and incorporated as a city in 1865. Muncie developed as a manufacturing and industrial center, especially after the Indiana gas boom of the 1880s. It is home to Ball State University. As a result of the Middletown studies, sociological research that was first conducted in the 1920s, Muncie is said to be one of the most studied United States cities of its size.

The Emily Kimbrough Historic District is a historical neighborhood in downtown Muncie, Indiana, USA. Established as a Muncie local historical district in 1976, it was eventually added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 13, 1980. The district is bounded by Monroe, East Washington, Hackley and East Charles Streets. The boundaries were later increased to roughly East Gilbert, Beacon Street, East Charles Street and Madison Street on June 29, 1989.

The Cincinnati, Richmond & Muncie Depot (also known as the Wysor Street Depot) is a restored train station in Muncie, Indiana, United States. Built in 1901, it was acquired by the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway in 1910. The station was used for passenger train service throughout the 20th century and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997. It is currently used as a visitor center and office for the adjacent Cardinal Greenway.
