Berkel-Enschot

Berkel-Enschot is a planned railway station between 's-Hertogenbosch and Tilburg. A station operated here on the Tilburg–Nijmegen railway between 1881 and 1938. There were plans to reopen a station to relieve stress on other lines, but the motion was rejected in 2010. On 28 November 2014 it was announced that the station would certainly not be built before 2028.

Heukelom is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant, next to Oisterwijk and Berkel-Enschot. Heukelom was home to 249 people in 1840. Heukelom used to be part of the municipality of Berkel-Enschot. In 1996, it became part of the municipality of Oisterwijk.

Heikant is a small village in the municipality of Tilburg, in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located about 2 km northeast of the centre of Berkel-Enschot.

It's erroneously translated sometimes into English as "Brabantine City Row"; a term not attested in English outside Wikipedia until LinkedIn adopted it in August 2020. Its population is about 2 million. The main cities are 's-Hertogenbosch, Breda, Eindhoven, Helmond and Tilburg. Other municipalities of the area are Bergen op Zoom, Oss and Roosendaal. The metropolitan region also includes other large towns such as Boxtel, Etten-Leur, Oosterhout, Uden, Veghel, Veldhoven and Waalwijk. The Brabantse Stedenrij is home to many large companies. In science, technology & engineering one finds Philips, DAF, VDL, Ciber, Atos, NXP, FEI, GE HealthCare and Thales in Eindhoven, ASML and Navteq in Veldhoven, Vanderlande and Alliance Boots in Veghel, Merck & Co., Aspen and B. Braun Medical in Oss, Fujifilm and Tesla Motors in Tilburg, Bosch Rexroth in Boxtel, and Acer Inc. in 's-Hertogenbosch. Also, the area has a rich agriculture and food industry, e.g. Mars Inc., Agrifirm, Royal Canin and FrieslandCampina's DMV in Veghel, Bavaria in Lieshout, Heineken in 's-Hertogenbosch, Coca-Cola in Dongen, Vion in Boxtel, Perfetti Van Melle in Breda and Unilever's Unox in Oss.

Udenhout is a village and a former municipality in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located northeast of Tilburg, north of Berkel-Enschot and south of the National Parc Loonse en Drunense Duinen. The municipality of Udenhout (including the village of Biezenmortel) was independent until 1997, when it became part of the municipality of Tilburg. Biezenmortel became part of the municipality of Haaren. Udenhout preferred to join the municipality of Loon op Zand, but was nevertheless assigned to Tilburg. The municipality consisted at the time of abolition in 1996 9,028 inhabitants and was 26.87 km2. During Carnaval Udenhout is called: "d'n Haozepot".

Koningshoeven Abbey (Dutch: Abdij Koningshoeven, Abdij Onze Lieve Vrouw van Koningshoeven) is a monastery of the Trappists (Order of the Cistercians of the Strict Observance) founded in 1881 in Berkel-Enschot in North Brabant, the Netherlands.

De Koningshoeven Brewery (Brouwerij de Koningshoeven) is a Dutch Trappist brewery founded in 1884 within the walls of Koningshoeven Abbey (Abdij Onze Lieve Vrouw van Koningshoeven) in Berkel-Enschot (near Tilburg).

Moergestel (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈmuːrˌɣɛstəl]) is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Oisterwijk, about 7 km East of Tilburg.

013 is a music venue in Tilburg, the Netherlands. The venue opened in 1998 and replaced the Noorderligt, the Bat Cave and the MuziekKantenWinkel. 013 is the largest popular music venue in the southern Netherlands. There are two concert halls of which the "Main Stage" (formerly Jupiler Zaal and Dommelsch Zaal) is the largest, with a capacity of 3,000 attendees. The smaller stage has a capacity of 700 attendees. The name of the venue is based on the area code of Tilburg. In August 2011, the director of 013, Guus van Hove, died of heat exposure in the Californian Joshua Tree National Park, together with his girlfriend. Van Hove had told friends he planned to visit the site of U2's The Joshua Tree album cover, which they falsely assumed to be near the location where they died.013 hosts the bigger acts at the annual music festivals Roadburn (stoner rock festival), Incubate Festival and Neurotic Deathfest. Also it was a home for Ayreon's live shows in 2017 and 2019, which gathered more than 9000 people from more than 50 countries.

Roadburn Festival is an annual music festival held each April in Tilburg, Netherlands. It was founded by Walter Hoeijmakers and Jurgen van den Brand in 1999, who ran a stoner rock blog of the same name.The festival has been held at Tilburg's 013 concert hall since 2005. In its earliest years before that, multiple events were organised in a year throughout various cities in the Netherlands such as Nijmegen and Eindhoven. It evolved into a multi-day event beginning in 2006 and shortly after, tickets began to sell out for the festival in under an hour as its audience grew internationally. The festival estimates that around 75% of its attendees come from outside the Netherlands.The festival has grown since its stoner rock origins and is now focused on various forms of experimental and extreme music: its motto in recent years has been "redefining heaviness."Van den Brand, who runs affiliated record labels Burning World Records and Roadburn Records, parted ways with the festival in 2016. The current key staff involved with organising the festival are Hoeijmakers (artistic director), Becky Laverty (press and communication, booker), Mijndert Rodolf (business director) and Joel Heijda (booker).

The Heuvelse kerk (Heuvel church; also Sint-Jozefkerk) is a neo-Gothic Catholic church in the center of the Dutch city Tilburg. Dedicated to Saint Joseph, it is one of two major Catholic churches in the city center together with the Heikese kerk. It is located along the square Heuvel, after which it is named. A 1921 statue of the Sacred Heart is located in front of the building. Construction of the church was divided into two phases due to financial constraints. The first part of the Heuvelse kerk was built in the period 1871–73, while the second phase took place between 1887 and 1889 and included the current front facade with its two towers. The church was consecrated in 1889 by the bishop of the Diocese of 's-Hertogenbosch. It was built in the garden of a barracks and was meant to accommodate Tilburg's increasing population. The barracks were renovated simultaneously to become a clergy house. The only major adjustment to the original building, designed by Hendrik van Tulder, was an extension of both transepts in the 1950s. The Heuvelse kerk has the floor plan of a cruciform basilica. Its most prominent exterior feature are the two towers with their height of 72 metres (236 ft). Three portals in the front facade contain entrances, the central one being decorated with a relief showing the flight into Egypt. A copper-gilded statue of Saint Joseph sits on top of a gable between the towers. The interior is covered by a four-part rib vault and includes two organs and a winged altarpiece by Hendrik van der Geld, created between 1878 and 1881. Frescos of the Stations of the Cross were painted two decades after the church's inauguration by Georges de Geetere. In 2019, the parish announced plans to sell the Heuvelse kerk, but the bishop has postponed those plans.
