Coral Reef Senior High School is a secondary school located at 10101 S.W. 152nd Street in Richmond Heights, Florida, United States. The principal is Nicole Bergé-MacInnes. Coral Reef is locally known as "Miami's Mega Magnet School" since it offers six different magnet programs. According to Newsweek's list of the 1,000 Top U.S. Schools in 2008, the school was ranked at 19th in the nation, making it 4th in the state of Florida at the time. In 2007, 2006 and 2005, it had ranked 22nd, 29th and 13th, respectively. This ranking is based on a ratio devised by Jay Mathews, which takes the number of Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate tests taken by all students at a school in that school year and divides it by the number of graduating seniors. Coral Reef is currently ranked No.134 of the top high schools in the nation.

The Naval Lighter Than Air Station Richmond was a South Florida military installation about 18 miles (29 km) south of Miami and 3.5 miles (5.6 km) west of US 1. It was an active air base during World War II. Since 1948, the University of Miami has used it as a research facility and storage area.

The Ferdinand Magellan (also known as U.S. Car. No. 1) is a former Pullman Company private car that served as Presidential Rail Car, U.S. Number 1 from 1943 until 1958. It is named after the Portuguese explorer. The current owner, Gold Coast Railroad Museum in Miami-Dade County, Florida, acquired it in 1959. The Ferdinand Magellan was designated a National Historic Landmark by the United States Department of the Interior, National Park Service on February 4, 1985.

Palmetto Bay Academy is the premier, independent, non-traditional secondary school located in Miami, Florida. It was founded in the year 2000 by Lois Dimos M.Ed who was joined by her husband James, Dimos B.A. a few years later. It has hosted hundreds of students over the years who benefitted from a small school environment. In 2015 Mrs. Dimos and Mr. Dimos transitioned to an off-campus leadership role and a new director and associate director were hired. Margaret Eubanks, M.E.d, M.L.S., B.C.S.E., was hired as Director and John Eubanks, M.E.d. was hired as Associate Director. In 2020 Margaret Eubanks and John Eubanks became owners of the school. The school offers college preparatory academic programming in a socially and emotionally supportive setting. Electives, clubs and events make up a large part of the overall curriculum. In the latter part of 2019 and into 2020 Palmetto Bay Academy transitioned seemelessly to distance learning, due to its history of supporting on-campuys as well as homebound students. The student body returned to fully on-campus as of August 2021, however the school still serves homebound students as well. Palmetto Bay Academy is fully accredited by AdvancEd/SACS/Congia The school enrolls up to 42 students per year on campus and works with students through distance education as well.

The Falls is an open-air shopping mall in Kendall, Florida. The mall has 111 upscale stores. The mall's anchor store is Macy's. Bloomingdale's was an anchor at this mall but closed on March 20, 2020, and it was replaced by Life Time Fitness center, which opened on August 4, 2023. This mall also features a movie theater, which is called Regal Entertainment Group (United Artists Falls 12), and is currently managed and 50% owned by the Simon Property Group.

As a magnet school, Robert Morgan is a juxtaposition of a vocational training and classical learning environment that is unique to other schools in its region. In April 2007, the school received regional accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
