Broadview-Pompano Park is a neighborhood and former census-designated place (CDP) in North Lauderdale, Broward County, Florida, United States. The population was 5,314 at the 2000 census.

Palm Aire, Florida was an unincorporated census-designated place in Broward County, Florida consisting of residential property, commercial businesses, and four golf courses. Palm Aire describes both Palm Aire Village, a collection of single-family houses, and Palm Aire Country Club, a 5,000-acre (20 km2) property with condominiums, villas, estate homes, and four golf courses. It is now part of the cities of Fort Lauderdale and Pompano Beach.

Anderson serves: all of Lauderdale Lakes, and parts of Tamarac, North Lauderdale, Oakland Park, Fort Lauderdale and Lauderhill.The school is named after the third County Judge of Broward County, Boyd H. Anderson, Sr., who served from 1933 to 1968.The school mascot is the cobra and the school colors are orange and black.

Lakes Mall was an enclosed shopping mall in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida. Opened in 1972, the shopping center initially featured Jefferson Ward and Britt's discount stores, and later included the first locations for the retail chains Office Depot and Sports Authority. The complex was torn down in 1995 and redeveloped as a strip mall.

Calvary Christian Academy (CCA) is a private Christian school located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States. It was established as a ministry of Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale in 2000. City College is a private college in Hollywood, Florida. It was founded in 1984 as a branch of Draughons Junior College before becoming separate in 1989. Inverrary Country Club was a 36-hole private golf club located in Lauderhill, Florida, northwest of Fort Lauderdale. Founded 54 years ago in 1970, both 18-hole courses were designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. The course has been shut down since 2020.

The 1976 Tournament Players Championship was a golf tournament in Florida on the PGA Tour, held February 26 to March 1 at Inverrary Country Club in Lauderhill, northwest of Fort Lauderdale. This was the third Tournament Players Championship; Jack Nicklaus won his second title, three strokes ahead of runner-up J. C. Snead, similar to his 1974 win. Saturday was washed out by a thunderstorm; the third round was on Sunday and the final round on Monday.Defending champion Al Geiberger finished fifteen strokes back, in a tie for 24th place. The first two editions had been played in late summer, after the major championships; this year's began in late February.

The Phar-Mor at Inverrary was a women's professional golf tournament in Florida on the LPGA Tour, held from 1990 through 1992. The 54-hole event was played in February at the Inverrary Country Club in Lauderhill, northwest of Fort Lauderdale. It was sponsored by Phar-Mor, an Ohio-based chain of discount drug stores, which also sponsored the Phar-Mor in Youngstown. Cancer survivor Shelley Hamlin, age 42, shot 66 (−6) on Sunday to win the final event by a stroke over three runners-up; it broke her 14-year victory drought on tour.Inverrary previously hosted the Jackie Gleason-Inverrary Classic on the PGA Tour (1972–1983), and the Tournament Players Championship in 1976.
