Broadview-Pompano Park is a neighborhood and former census-designated place (CDP) in North Lauderdale, Broward County, Florida, United States. The population was 5,314 at the 2000 census.

Palm Aire, Florida was an unincorporated census-designated place in Broward County, Florida consisting of residential property, commercial businesses, and four golf courses. Palm Aire describes both Palm Aire Village, a collection of single-family houses, and Palm Aire Country Club, a 5,000-acre (20 km2) property with condominiums, villas, estate homes, and four golf courses. Inverrary Country Club was a 36-hole private golf club located in Lauderhill, Florida, northwest of Fort Lauderdale. Founded 54 years ago in 1970, both 18-hole courses were designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. The course has been shut down since 2020.

The 1976 Tournament Players Championship was a golf tournament in Florida on the PGA Tour, held February 26 to March 1 at Inverrary Country Club in Lauderhill, northwest of Fort Lauderdale. This was the third Tournament Players Championship; Jack Nicklaus won his second title, three strokes ahead of runner-up J. C. Snead, similar to his 1974 win. Saturday was washed out by a thunderstorm; the third round was on Sunday and the final round on Monday.Defending champion Al Geiberger finished fifteen strokes back, in a tie for 24th place. The first two editions had been played in late summer, after the major championships; this year's began in late February.
