Cooper City High School, also referred to as CCHS, is a high school located in Cooper City, Florida, which teaches grades 9–12. The school includes standard high school curriculum plus specialized classes devoted to career development including auto tech, child care, and computer programming. It has an average enrollment of approximately 2,400 students. Vera Perkovic is the principal. The school colors are red, black, and white and the mascot is a cowboy named "Pistol Pete." The school has been awarded the Blue Ribbon School of Excellence award. Cooper City has an FLDOE school grade of "A" for the 2018–2019 academic year. The school was also ranked #382 in the High School Challenge Index of 2011 out of approximately 30,000 schools, marking it as one of the top high schools in the entire nation. It is the 88th best school in the state of Florida out of 762 schools as reported by U.S. News & World Report.

Brian Piccolo Park is a sports venue located in Cooper City, Florida. The ground was opened in 1989 on 175.2-acre of land with the facilities of three soccer fields, two cricket fields, two basketball court as well as a velodrome.In 2004, the ground played host to first-class cricket when the United States cricket team played Canadian cricket team in the ICC Intercontinental Cup. Since then the ground has hosted many non-first-class cricket matches. It also served as the home ground for the Florida Thunder a Pro Cricket team in 2004. The park is also home to one of the few cycling tracks in South Florida. The park also encompasses a skateboard park. It is considered one of the main centers for athletic activity in Broward County Parks.

Archbishop Edward A. McCarthy High School (abbreviated AMHS) was opened in 1998 in Southwest Ranches, Florida, United States. Sponsored by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Miami, it is accredited through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Named after the second Archbishop of Miami, Edward A. McCarthy, the school's mascot is the Maverick. The founding principal of the school was Dr. Richard Perhla. Students wear a uniform consisting of a solid white or light blue shirt, AMHS khaki slacks, a black leather belt, black shoes, and a student ID with AMHS lanyard. As of the 2019–2020 school year, there are 1,700 students enrolled in grades nine through twelve.
