The Iranian Hospital (Arabic: المستشفى الإيراني) (Persian: بیمارستان ایرانی) in Dubai is located on the Al Wasl Road in Jumeirah. Inaugurated on 14 April 1972, it was built by and is affiliated to the Iranian Red Crescent Society, and is the oldest known provider of healthcare services in Dubai. Most of the hospital's medical staff are from the Iranian community in the UAE. It is a private hospital and comes under Dubai Health Authority (DHA). The hospital building features an exterior of blue tilework inspired by Persian architecture, similar to the Iranian Mosque located across the road. The Iranian consulate is also nearby.

The Etihad Museum (Arabic: متحف الاتحاد), historically called the Union House (Arabic: دار الاتحاد) and formerly as the al-Diyafah Palace and the Jumeirah Guesthouse, is a museum in Dubai, United Arab Emirates that collects, preserves, and displays the heritage of the United Arab Emirates in the areas of social, political, cultural, scientific, and military history. It holds everything from old passports to personal artifacts of the rulers of United Arab Emirates. The historic signing of the Constitution of the United Arab Emirates, the raising of the first UAE flag, and the formation of the United Arab Emirates as a country on 2 December 1971 took place within the area that forms the museum today. The museum is designed as a document to signify the signing of the UAE constitution. It costs 25 AED (6.81 USD) for an adult to visit it.

The Iranian Mosque (also known as the Imam Hussein Mosque) located in Satwa, Dubai, is a Shia mosque founded by the Iranian community. It is located on Al Wasl Road, a short distance from the Jumeirah Mosque. Its architecture is inspired by quasi-Fatimid and Persian influences, with its facade and dome covered in traditional blue tiles, much like the exterior of the Iranian Hospital across the road. The mosque sprawls over an area of 2,500 square metres and was built in 1979 with the support of the Iranian Red Crescent. It contains several interior halls and rooms, and has a library with over 14,000 books of diverse topics and languages including Arabic, Persian, Urdu and English. The Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding runs four weekly tours of the mosque, during which non-Muslims visitors can visit.

Al Hudaiba (Arabic: الحضيبة) is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). A small community, Al Hudaiba is located near Port Rashid. Important landmarks in Al Hudaiba include Chelsea Hotel and the consulate of Sri Lanka. The locality is bordered by Al Mina, Port Rashid, Al Jafiliya, and Al Bada.

Al Bada'a (Arabic: البدع) is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Al Bada is located in western Dubai and is bordered by the localities of Jumeirah, Al Hudaiba and Al Satwa. Al Bada is largely residential and is bounded by D 92 (Al Wasl Road) and D 90 (Al Satwa Road). The Iranian Hospital is located in Al Bada.

Dubai Zoo (Arabic: حديقة حيوان دبي) was a 1.5-kilometre (0.93 mi) zoo located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was originally built in 1967 by a Dubai resident when Sheikh Rashid bin Maktoum, the late Ruler of Dubai, permitted Otto J. Bulart to build a zoo on a 2-hectare (4.9-acre) plot in Jumeirah. It is still the oldest zoo in the Arabian Peninsula. It was considered a Dubai landmark in the late 1960s as it indicated the "town's end". In 1971 the management of the Dubai Zoo was taken over by the Dubai Municipality. During the first couple of years of its existence, the Dubai Zoo housed only a few animals like the big cats, monkeys and hoofed-animals. There was also a small aquarium with some fishes and reptiles. From May 1986 to May 1989, a part of the zoo was redesigned and rebuilt. From June 1989 to the present there has been constant re-designing and renovation. Dubai zoo is the first Arabian zoo to breed the rare chimpanzee and the Arabian or Gordon's wildcat (Felis silvestris gordoni).In recent years, the Dubai Zoo has come under fire for the conditions in which its animals are housed. Animal rights activists and even hotels and tourist websites encourage the boycotting of the facility. Cages in which the animals are trapped were reportedly so small that the animals can barely move. The zoo has closed since November 2017 and all animals were relocated to the new Dubai Safari Park. They no longer live in cages and have an open habitat with a lot more space to move around.

Jumeira Beach is a white sand beach that is located and named after the Jumeirah district of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on the coast of the Persian Gulf. It stretches along the coast south of the city's historic district to the junction with The Palm Jumeirah and terminates between the southern end of the Jumeirah Beach Residence (adjacent to the Dubai Marina district) and the port facilities at Jebel Ali.The adjacent districts to the beach include Jumeirah (1, 2, and 3), Umm Suqeim (1, 2, and 3), and Al Sufouh, though colloquially, this entire string of neighbourhoods and districts from the southern edge of Kerama to the terminus of the Palm Jumeirah at Knowledge Village is sometimes referred to as the Jumeirah Beach Road area.The beach and its frontage feature large hotels, resorts, and housing developments, including the Burj Al Arab (Arab Tower) hotel, Wild Wadi Water Park, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, and the old-style Madinat Jumeirah, a hotel and shopping complex. On one side of the Burj Al Arab Hotel is a water park (wild wadi) and on the other side is the Jumeirah Beach Park.

Jumeira Baccalaureate School (JBS) is a Pre KG to Grade 12 school in Jumeirah District, Dubai City, the United Arab Emirates. It is a private institution managed by Taaleem, a UAE-based company and one of the largest education providers in the Middle East.

Dubai Drydocks is a dry docks facility located adjacent to Port Rashid in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The idea for Dubai Drydocks began in 1971. After feasibility studies and construction, the facility opened in 1983. It is the only large dry docks facility in the Persian Gulf. Since it opened, the yard has repaired over 6000 vessels with a combined tonnage of 500 million tons. The Dubai Drydocks have been building new ships since 1994, and have since completed over 70 projects. The dry dock also contains the Middle East's largest floating crane. Dubai Drydocks is located adjacent to Dubai Maritime City and Port Rashid (Mina Rashid). There was a massive accident in 2002. 29 workers died after the water started to enter the drydocks when the locks somehow failed.

Al Satwa (Arabic: السطوة) is a community in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, comprising high-density retail outlets and private residential dwellings. It is located southwest of Bur Dubai and adjacent to Sheikh Zayed Road. Originally, its residents were mainly of the Baloch tribe. As the government provided better houses for emaratis staying here, only few Arabs are found residing here. Notable features include the Iranian Hospital, Satwa Grand Mosque and the Al Satwa bus terminal. Al Satwa is known for its large South Asian community, especially Filipino Nationals. It is often referred to as mini-Manila by Filipino community. E 11 (Sheikh Zayed Road) forms the southern boundary of Al Satwa, Jumeirah 1 borders its northern area. Satwa is the subject of the critically acclaimed spoken word piece/photo-novella, Satwa stories, by Mahmoud Kaabour and Denise Holloway of Veritas Films. The project highlights the hidden gems and iconic characters of the Satwa neighborhood through poetry, photography, and music.
