Haji Ali Dargah

The Mahalaxmi Temple is one of the most famous temples of the city of Mumbai, India. It is dedicated to Mahalakshmi the central deity of Devi Mahatmyam. The temple was built in 1831 by Dhakji Dadaji (1760–1846), a Hindu merchant.

The Mahalaxmi Racecourse is a horse racing track in Mahalaxmi neighbourhood of Mumbai. The track is oval shaped with 2,400 metres (7,900 ft) straight chute, spread over approximately 225 acres (0.91 km2; 0.352 sq mi) of open land in the heart of Mumbai city. It was created out of a marshy land known as Mahalakshmi Flats. Built in 1883 and modelled on the Caulfield Racecourse in Melbourne, it is spread over land facing the sea. The racecourse was originally donated by Sir Cusrow N Wadia and today it is on lease from the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) to Royal Western India Turf Club which runs the racecourse. The Grandstand, off the course, is a designated heritage structure. The racecourse is the only helipad open for civilian use in South Mumbai.

Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre is a private hospital located in Mumbai was founded by philanthropist Seth Lokoomal Chanrai along with surgeon Shantilal Jamnadas Mehta. The hospital was formally inaugurated on 6 July 1973 by the erstwhile Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi. The hospital got substantial publicity in the late 1970s when Jayaprakash Narayan was admitted for treatment of kidney failure by the nephrologist M. K. Mani. On 17 October 1979, after severing the gas, water and telephone connections and crippling the labour force in the hospital, the management had to shift nearly 294 patients to other hospitals in the city. Dr Rindani, the then Medical Director, stood firm, The police were called in and a court injunction prohibiting assembly of the agitating workers was obtained. Samant had to back down for the first time in his brand of union activities.Jaslok Hospital is located at Dr. G. Deshmukh Marg., Peddar Road, South Mumbai, overlooking the Arabian Sea. The name Jaslok is a combination of the names of Seth Lokoomal and his wife, Jasotibai.

Namaste Tower is a 310 m (1,017 ft) tall skyscraper mega project in Mumbai, India. It would have been a mixed-use skyscraper with 63 floors that will house a 380-room W Hotel, office and retail space. It was designed by Atkins, Dubai. The design resembles the Namaste gesture: two wings of the hotel are clasped together like hands greeting. It would have been built in Lower Parel, Mumbai, on land previously owned by Ambika Mills. The land was acquired by the builders using redevelopment models.

Sir Cowasjee Jehangir High School is a co-educational private school in Tardeo, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It was established in 1859 by Sir Cowasji Jehangir Readymoney, a notable Parsi community leader, philanthropist and industrialist of the city.
