Morgan Studios, also known as Morgan Sound Studios, were recording studios at 169–171 High Road, Willesden in north-west London, originally owned by Barry Morgan (1944–2007), drummer for Blue Mink, CCS and other bands. The studios, which had both a Steinway piano and a Hammond organ, were notable as the venue for recordings by some of the most notable British bands of the 1960s and 1970s, such as Ten Years After, Arrows, Yes, The Kinks, Donovan, Vivian Stanshall, Paul Simon, Lou Reed, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Greenslade, Joan Armatrading, Cat Stevens, Paul McCartney, Jethro Tull, Rod Stewart, Black Sabbath, UFO and The Cure. Parts of Alice Cooper's number one album Billion Dollar Babies were recorded here in 1972. The studios were also notable for having the first 24-track tape machine in England, made by Ampex.Morgan eventually expanded the facility to comprise four different recording studios. Studios 3 and 4 were sold to Zomba in 1980, and rechristened Battery Studios, and studios 1 and 2 were sold to Robin Millar in 1984 and renamed Power Plant Studios. Their former premises are now occupied by Miloco Studios.

Dollis Hill is a London Underground station at Dollis Hill near to Willesden and Gladstone Park of the London Borough of Brent. It is on the Jubilee line, between Willesden Green and Neasden stations and is in Travelcard Zone 3. Metropolitan line trains pass through the station without stopping here. The station has no surface buildings.

The Willesden United Synagogue Cemetery, usually known as Willesden Jewish Cemetery, is a cemetery for Jews at Beaconsfield Road, Willesden, in the London Borough of Brent, England. It opened in 1873 on a 20-acre (0.08 km2) site. It has been described as the "Rolls Royce" of London's Jewish cemeteries and is designated Grade II on Historic England's Register of Historic Parks and Gardens. The cemetery, which has 29,800 graves, has many significant memorials and monuments. Four of them are listed at Grade II. They include the tomb of Rosalind Franklin, who was a co-discoverer of the structure of DNA.In 2015, the United Synagogue, which owns and manages the cemetery, was awarded a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to restore some key features of the cemetery and to create a visitor centre, a permanent exhibition and a web-based education project. The cemetery's heritage project, House of Life, officially opened up the cemetery to visitors on 7 September 2020: it has a programme of public outreach events that have included walking tours, an online literary festival ("Life Lines") and an exhibition at Willesden Library.

This is a list of people buried at Willesden Jewish Cemetery at Beaconsfield Road, Willesden, in the London Borough of Brent, England. Willesden Jewish Cemetery, which opened in 1873, has 29,800 graves; three of the tombs, including that of Rosalind Franklin, are listed at Grade II by Historic England.The cemetery has 33 Commonwealth service war graves from World War I, six of which form a small group by the Assembly Hall, and 77 from World War II, 22 of them grouped in a war graves plot. These include the grave of Dudley Joel (1904–1941), businessman and Conservative Party politician, who died in World War II.

The Liberal Jewish Cemetery, Willesden, is a cemetery for Jews in Pound Lane, Willesden, in the London Borough of Brent. It is adjacent to Willesden United Synagogue Cemetery. Established in 1911 by the Liberal Jewish Synagogue, it opened in 1914 and was originally known as the Liberal Jewish and Belsize Square Cemetery. Several notable British Jews, including members of the Sassoon family, are buried at the cemetery, which also has a Grade II listed war memorial.

The Islamic College is a London-based academic institution specialising in Shia Islamic Studies at both the graduate and the undergraduate levels. Its degree programmes (BA, MA & Professional Doctorate, or D Prof) are validated by Middlesex University. It also publishes academic texts in Islamic studies as well as a quarterly academic journal. In 2014 the college started the Hawza Ilmiyya of England, an Islamic seminary, at the same location .

Brent East was a parliamentary constituency in north west London; it was replaced by Brent Central for the 2010 general election. It returned one Member of Parliament (MP) to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, elected by the first past the post system.

Willesden () is an area of North West London, situated 5 miles (8 km) northwest of Charing Cross. It is historically a parish in the county of Middlesex that was incorporated as the Municipal Borough of Willesden in 1933, and has formed part of the London Borough of Brent in Greater London since 1965. Dollis Hill is also sometimes referred to as being part of Willesden. With its close proximity to affluent neighbourhoods Brondesbury Park, Queen's Park and Kensal Rise, the area surrounding Willesden Green station has seen increased gentrification in the past several years, with rapidly rising property prices. The Daily Telegraph called Willesden Green one of London's "new middle class" areas. The area has a population of 44,295 as of 2011 including the Willesden Green, Dollis Hill and Dudden Hill wards. Willesden Green has one of the city's highest Irish populations, and is also strongly associated with Afro-Caribbeans and Latin Americans.Willesden is mostly in the NW10 postcode district, but part of it is in the NW2 postcode district.

The Library at Willesden Green (simply known as Willesden Library) is a public library complex situated in Willesden Green, London, United Kingdom. The centre includes a public library which spans over 3 floors, and includes a library for children. It includes 40,000 books, and offers computer and study spaces. The library is operated by Brent Council and houses governmental archives on Brent. Since 2006, the Brent Museum has been located in the building and since the 2015 redevelopment, a performing arts space, as well as an art exhibition gallery, was added to the building.

Willesden New Cemetery is a civic cemetery at Franklyn Road, Willesden, in the London Borough of Brent. It opened in 1891 and includes a memorial to local civilians who died in World War II. It previously included chapels, now demolished, by Charles H Worley.The cemetery contains war graves of 130 Commonwealth service personnel who died in World War I and 121 who died in World War II. Most of these graves are scattered throughout the cemetery apart from 39 World War II graves forming an informal group, while a Screen Wall memorial lists personnel from both wars whose graves could not be individually marked by headstones.

Willesden was a local government district in the county of Middlesex, England from 1874 to 1965. It formed part of the Metropolitan Police District and London postal district. Willesden was part of the built-up area of London and bordered the County of London to the east and south.

Roundwood Park is a public park in Willesden, London, measuring a total of 26.5 acres, or approximately 10.27 hectares. It was originally known in the 19th century as Knowles Hill (its name coming from the Knowles Tower nearby), or Hunger Hill Common Field, and after much work by Oliver Claude Robson, became the Roundwood Park known to the public today (its name coming from the Roundwood House originally beside it).
