Rocky Creek is a short coastal stream in Lincoln County in the U.S. state of Oregon. It begins near the western extremities of the Central Oregon Coast Range and flows generally west to the ocean south of Depot Bay and north of Otter Rock. It has no named tributaries.The creek passes under U.S. Route 101 and then Otter Crest Loop Road shortly before entering the ocean. Rocky Creek Bridge No. 01089, also known as the Ben Jones Bridge, carries the loop road over the creek immediately upstream of the creek mouth. The bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.Rocky Creek State Scenic Viewpoint, a 58-acre (23 ha) state park, lies along a bluff between Whale Cove and Rocky Creek. The park extends south along the Otter Crest Loop Road to the Rocky Creek Bridge. The park, which is open year-round for day use, has picnic tables, parking spaces, and restrooms. Attractions include watching for whales, waves, and ocean birds along a rocky coast, and hiking through a forest of shore pines.

Rocky Creek Bridge No. 01089, also known as Ben Jones Bridge, is a concrete highway bridge spanning Rocky Creek along the Pacific Ocean coast of the U.S. state of Oregon. The bridge crosses a gorge near the creek's mouth, about 2 miles (3 km) south of Depoe Bay in Lincoln County. Built in 1927, the bridge originally carried U.S. Route 101 (the Oregon Coast Highway) over the creek. After a stretch of the highway was relocated to make it straighter, the abandoned piece of the old highway became Otter Crest Loop Road, a local road west of the new highway.Designed by Conde McCullough, the arch bridge is 360 feet (110 m) long. McCullough, the state bridge engineer from 1919 to 1936, designed many bridges along the Oregon Coast Highway, which extended north–south from Washington to California. Jones was a lawyer who helped establish Lincoln County in 1893, who served as mayor of the Oregon cities of Toledo and Newport, and who introduced legislation at the state level that led to construction of the coast highway.The Oregon Department of Transportation repaired and reconstructed parts of the deteriorating bridge in 2001 and added safety features. The Oregon State Historic Preservation Office assisted with the project, and the bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Administered by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department, the 59-acre (24 ha) park lies along a bluff between Whale Cove and Rocky Creek. The park extends south along the Otter Crest Loop Road to the Rocky Creek Bridge.Between 1926 and 1954, the state bought land for the park from private owners and received other land for the park from the Federal government. The Civilian Conservation Corps undertook the original development of the site between 1934 and 1936.Open year-round for day use, the park has picnic tables, parking spaces, and restrooms. Attractions include watching whales, waves, and ocean birds along a rocky coast, and hiking through a forest of shore pines.

Otter Crest State Scenic Viewpoint is a state park in the U.S. state of Oregon, administered by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department. Going north on State Highway 101 the turnoff to the left comes up quickly and is easy to miss in the dense foliage. Taking it ones gets a view of Cape Foulweather.

Whale Cove is a small cove, approximately one-third of a mile (0.5 km) in diameter, located on the Pacific Coast of Oregon in the United States, approximately 1.4 mi (2.3 km) south of the city of Depoe Bay. The cove is located at approximately 44 deg 44 min N latitude. The ocean portion of the cove is protected as a marine reserve, and land portions of the cove are protected as parts of Rocky Creek State Scenic Viewpoint and Oregon Islands National Wildlife Refuge.

Devils Punch Bowl State Natural Area is a state day use park on the central Oregon Coast in the United States. It is centered on a large bowl naturally carved in a rock headland which is partially open to the Pacific Ocean. Waves enter the bowl and often violently churn, swirl, and foam. Outside the bowl, ocean conditions are attractive to surfers near a large offshore rock pinnacle named Gull Rock, located about 1⁄2 mile (800 m) west-northwest of Devils Punch Bowl, which funnels and concentrates waves easily seen from the park. There are at least seventeen large rocks, part of Oregon Islands National Wildlife Refuge, which provide interesting wave viewing, and attract and provide a home for wildlife. Devils Punch Bowl is located about 5 miles (8.0 km) south of Depoe Bay, and about 8 miles (13 km) north of Newport in the community of Otter Rock, and about 1⁄4 mile (400 m) west of U.S. Route 101. The park encompasses 5.34 acres (2 ha), which includes picnic grounds. There is a trail for access to the beach, and tide pools. The bowl is thought to have been created when two caves carved by the ocean collapsed.Whales migrate past the park, in season, and the park, which projects into the Pacific, provides panoramic views of the ocean and good whale watching.

Otter Rock is an unincorporated community in Lincoln County, Oregon, United States. It is located on U.S. Route 101 along the Oregon Coast. Otter Rock is 5.4 miles south of Depoe Bay and 8 miles north of Newport, Oregon. Otter Rock takes its name from a rock located about 1⁄2 mile (0.8 km) offshore and 3.25 miles (5.23 km) north of Yaquina Head where sea otters formerly lived.There are various activities to do around Otter Rock throughout the year such as surfing, wine tasting, whale watching, tide pool exploring, and beach combing. The Devils Punch Bowl State Natural Area is located in Otter Rock. As of 2019 the population of Otter Rock is approximately 225, up from 193 occupants in 2010.

Depoe Bay is a city in Lincoln County, Oregon, United States, located on U.S. Route 101 on the Pacific Ocean. The population was 1,398 at the 2010 census. The bay of the same name is a 6-acre (2.4 ha) harbor that the city promotes as the world's smallest navigable harbor.

The Depoe Bay Bridge is one of a series of significant bridges along the Oregon Coast Highway. The concrete arch bridge spans the mouth of Depoe Bay at milepost 127.61 with a 150-foot (46 m) main span, and a total length of 312 feet (95 m). The bridge's designer was Conde McCullough who designed all of the 1920s bridges on the highway. The original bridge, completed in 1927, was only 18 feet (5.5 m) wide from curb to curb with no sidewalks, and was widened in 1940 with a similar arched concrete bridge immediately adjacent to the original. The added structure is sympathetic to the original and is included in the National Register of Historic Places listing.

The Depoe Bay Whale Watching Center, also known as the Depoe Bay Ocean Wayside, is an Oregon State Parks-staffed visitor center in Depoe Bay, Oregon, U.S. to help visitors observe whale migration and provide information about whales and other marine mammals, including history, economics, and their environmental and ecological influences. The wayside provides a sheltered platform from which to view the ocean. First established as a wayside parking area on the Oregon Coast Highway in 1930, the wayside building was built in 1956 as a restroom facility for the popular spot. It is located just to the north of the Depoe Bay Bridge, also on the National Register.
