Bellhouse Provincial Park is a provincial park in the southern Gulf Islands of British Columbia, Canada. It is located in the Sturdies Bay area of southeastern Galiano Island. It is on land donated by Thorney Bellhouse in 1964, and is noted for its spring wildflowers, notably fawn lilies and chocolate lilies, as well as views of snow-capped mountains and abundant marine life.

Mayne Island Water Aerodrome, formerly IATA: YAV, TC LID: CAW7, is a defunct aerodrome that was located at Miners Bay adjacent to Mayne Island in British Columbia, Canada. Mayne Island is one of the southern Gulf Islands.

Sturdies Bay is on the south east part of Galiano Island in British Columbia, Canada's Gulf Islands. It is known primarily for its ferry terminal, that connects it to the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal and the other southern Gulf Islands. At the ferry terminal there is also a public dock, serviced in the summer by an inter-island water taxi, and in the winter the same vessel runs between the islands bringing students schools Saltspring and Pender, stopping in Sturdies Bay. There is a small settlement at Sturdies Bay consisting of several businesses, including four restaurants, a food truck, two stores, a post office/tea store, a gas station/grocery store, and an inn. There are also a few private residences and moorings located around the bay. On some nautical maps it is listed as "Port of Sturdee." In 1954, Sturdies Bay became last port of call for the St. Roch, the first ship to transit the Northwest Passage west to east, when it stopped there on its way to the Vancouver Maritime Museum.

Mayne Island is a 21-square-kilometre (8.1 sq mi) island in the southern Gulf Islands chain of British Columbia. It is midway between the Lower Mainland of BC and Vancouver Island, and has a population of 995. Mount Parke in the south-central heart of the island is its highest peak at 255 metres (837 feet).

Port Washington Water Aerodrome, formerly TC LID: CAP8, is located adjacent to Port Washington, British Columbia, Canada. Port Washington lies at the north end of North Pender Island in the Gulf Islands of the Gulf of Georgia.

Collinson Point Provincial Park is a provincial park on Galiano Island, British Columbia, Canada. It is located between Mount Galiano and the western approaches to Active Pass. The area is 24 hectares, with c. 500 metres of waterfront.

Prevost Island is an island in the southern Gulf Islands of the South Coast of British Columbia, Canada, located east of Ganges Harbour and midway between the southeastern extremity of Salt Spring Island (W) and the southern end of Galiano Island (E). The island was named for James Charles Prevost, who was British Commissioner for the San Juan Island boundary dispute of 1859-1870 and captain of HMS Satellite. Prevost Harbor on nearby Stuart Island, Washington is also named after Prevost and Satellite Island, within Prevost Harbor, is named after his ship. The Satellite played a critical role in the Lamalcha War in the same area in 1863.Most of the island was bought as a farm in the 1920s by Digby de Burgh, an Irishman from County Limerick, who used it to raise sheep, goats and cattle. His descendants still own much of the island, which is still primarily a sheep and cattle farm. A few smaller private homes were built on the northwest side of the island.

Curlew Island is a small island in the southern Gulf Islands, located in the Strait of Georgia between Mayne Island and Samuel Island in British Columbia, Canada. It was presumably named after the British sloop HMS Curlew.

Port Browning, British Columbia, Canada is formed between North and South Pender Islands in the British Columbia Gulf Islands. There is a government dock and commercial marina at the head of the inlet. From Port Browning, Pender Canal leads to Bedwell Harbour. Port Browning also leads eastward to Plumper Sound.

Bedwell Harbour is a harbour between South Pender Island and North Pender Island in British Columbia. Bedwell Harbour is close to the Canada–US border in Boundary Pass, and it is an official port of entry for sailors from the United States. The Pender Island Invitational (PII) is a long-running fall disc golf competition on Pender Island, British Columbia, Canada where players compete over four days in the pursuit of The Bark, and $10 Ace-Pots. The PII is typically played in October, typically between Thanksgiving (Canada) and Halloween.

Montague Harbour Marine Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada, located on Galiano Island, one of the Gulf Islands off BC's South Coast in Canada. It is accessible by BC Ferries from Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island or Tsawwassen on the Mainland. The Island's ferry terminal is at Sturdies Bay, about 6 km (3.7 mi) from Montague. It is a very popular anchorage in the summer months and mooring buoys are provided by the park for visiting boats. It is also a popular spot for kayakers to stop for a night. The park has great camping with sites overlooking the water, picnic tables and pit toilets. It is on a peninsula with beaches and rock pools to play in and explore. There is a small marina within walking distance from the park which stocks basic supplies.
