The Davisville Historic District is a historic district on Davisville Road in Davisville, Rhode Island, a village in North Kingstown. It encompasses the site of an early 19th-century mill, and several associated buildings, including five houses dating to the 18th or 19th century and a cemetery. It is located on either side of Davisville Road, between the Hunt River and Olde Mill Lane.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Davisville is a village in the town of North Kingstown in the U.S. state of Rhode Island that was formerly the home of the Davisville Naval Construction Battalion Center, which housed the United States Navy's SeaBees.

Allie's Donuts is a doughnut shop in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, United States. Established in 1968 by Frederick Alvin "Allie" Briggs, the store has been listed as one of the best doughnut shops in the country by Saveur in 2008 and by Thrillist in 2016. Considered a landmark in Rhode Island, Allie's Donuts is also popular amongst residents from nearby states, receiving many customers travelling from Connecticut and Massachusetts to visit the store.

East Greenwich High School is a public secondary school located in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, U.S. The school serves students in grades 9–12 in the East Greenwich Public Schools system. EGHS is the highest-performing public high school in the state. It is the only school in the country with the mascot, the "Avengers." East Greenwich High School was ranked 259 on Newsweek's list of America's Top 500 High Schools in 2016 out of approximately 31,700 high schools in the United States. It was the only high school in Rhode Island to make the list.

Fry's Hamlet Historic District is a historic district in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. The district encompasses about 272 acres (110 ha) of a predominantly rural and agricultural landscape. The central characteristic of the district is a cluster of three farmsteads, including four primary dwellings, four barns, and numerous additional outbuildings. Three of the four houses were built in the 18th century, and are associated with the Fry and Spencer families that long farmed this area. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Tillinghast Road Historic District is a historic district encompassing a rural landscape in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. Extending along Tillinghast Road, a winding two-lane road, southward from its junction with Frenchtown Road, it includes seven farm complexes dating back to the late 18th and early 19th centuries. One of them, the Thomas Tillinghast Farm, located at the above-named junction, is the site of the New England Wireless and Steam Museum, some of whose buildings contribute to the district's significance. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Six Principle Baptist Church (also known as Stony Lane Baptist Church, Stony Lane Six Principle Baptist Church and Old Baptist Meeting House) is a historic church in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. As of 2009 it was one of the last surviving historical congregations of the Six Principle Baptist denomination and one of the oldest churches in the United States.

The Richard Briggs Farm is a historic farm at 830 South Road in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. The 72-acre (29 ha) farm, established in 1704 by Richard Briggs on land given to him by his father, who had acquired it in the 1670s. The farm is one of the oldest in the town, and is one of its few remaining farms that is still largely intact. Construction of the core of the main house, a 2+1⁄2-story timber-frame structure with a large central chimney, was traditionally ascribed to Briggs, but architectural evidence suggests it was built c. 1735–55, probably by Briggs' son John after his father's death. This structure has had two major additions, an ell to the west built c. 1820–50, and a northern ell built in the 1930s and further extended in following decades. The property includes a barn which may be contemporaneous to the original house.The farm was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

The Massie Wireless Station (PJ) was built in Point Judith, Rhode Island, in 1907 and may be the oldest surviving working wireless station in the world. It is named for inventor Walter Wentworth Massie, president of the Massie Wireless Telegraph Company. The structure was moved to the New England Wireless and Steam Museum in 1983 where it is preserved as a technology museum and historic site.

The New England Wireless and Steam Museum is an electrical and mechanical engineering museum at 1300 Frenchtown Road in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, with working steam engines and an early wireless station and technology archives. The museum was founded in 1964 under the leadership of Robert Merriam. According to the museum's website, the New England Wireless and Steam Museum contains five buildings: One museum building contains the wireless collection. The Massie Wireless Station, (PJ), was "built in 1907. It is the oldest surviving working wireless station in the world. It was moved to this site from Point Judith, Rhode Island, in 1982 to avoid demolition." Another museum building contains "the stationary steam engine collection. This collection includes the only surviving George H. Corliss engine running under steam today." The Mayes building houses the Mechanical Engineering library of historic engineering textbooks and the collection of steam engine models. A meeting house built in 1822 is used as the assembly hall for the museum. In 1972, the nearby Frenchtown Baptist Church in East Greenwich was going to demolish its building, so it was moved to this site to save the building. The meeting house is part of the Tillinghast Road Historic District and is available to rent for weddings and other events.The Museum is situated within the Tillinghast Road Historic District. It was designated an engineering history Landmark in 1992 by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. In 2001 the Massie Wireless Station was added to the National Register of Historic Places.As of August 2022, the president of the NEWSM board of directors is Randy Snow.

East Greenwich is a town and the county seat of Kent County, Rhode Island. The population was 14,312 at the 2020 census. East Greenwich is the wealthiest municipality within the state of Rhode Island. It is part of the Providence metropolitan statistical area and the Greater Boston combined statistical area. Formed as Greenwich in 1677, it was named for Greenwich, England. It was renamed Dedford in 1686 but reverted to its original name in 1689. In 1741 the more rural western three quarters of the town was set off as West Greenwich, the remaining quarter of it thenceforth being called East Greenwich. Until 1854, it was one of the five state capitals for Rhode Island. The General Assembly, when meeting in East Greenwich, used the local courthouse, which is today the town hall. East Greenwich Village is located in the northeastern part of the town and extends north about 0.93 mi (1.5 km) into the city of Warwick, Rhode Island. The town is now known for its waterfront, renowned school district, and downtown restaurant/shopping district.

Wickford Junction station is a commuter rail station located in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, United States. It is the southern terminus of the MBTA Commuter Rail Providence/Stoughton Line and serves as a park and ride location for commuters to Providence and Boston. The station consists of a single high-level side platform on a stub-end siding next to the Northeast Corridor mainline. The first station at the site opened in 1844. In 1870, the Newport and Wickford Railroad and Steamboat Company was opened from the station to Wickford Landing, where it connected with steamships to Newport, Rhode Island. The station was rebuilt in 1871, expanded in 1887, and rebuilt again around 1890 after a fire. Branch service ended in 1925, but the station remained open until 1981. A new station and parking garage opened on the same site on April 23, 2012, as part of the South County Commuter Rail project, which also included the new T. F. Green Airport station.
