The Clement Weaver–Daniel Howland House is a historic stone-ender timber frame house built in 1679. This rare example of primitive 17th-century architecture is located at 125 Howland Road in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. It is the oldest documented dwelling house in Kent County and the second oldest home in Rhode Island.Clement Weaver was a native of Newport in the Colony of Rhode Island, and built the house in 1679 after fighting in King Philip's War. His descendants sold the house to Daniel Howland in 1748. Howland was a grandson of Henry Howland who arrived in Plymouth Colony in 1624. His uncle was John Howland, one of the original Mayflower Pilgrims of 1620. The house was included in the Historic American Buildings Survey, the first national preservation program, begun in 1933 to document America's architectural heritage. Several years later, Brown University professor Norman Isham began a comprehensive restoration of the house. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

East Greenwich High School is a public secondary school located in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, U.S. The school serves students in grades 9–12 in the East Greenwich Public Schools system. EGHS is the highest-performing public high school in the state. It is the only school in the country with the mascot, the "Avengers." East Greenwich High School was ranked 259 on Newsweek's list of America's Top 500 High Schools in 2016 out of approximately 31,700 high schools in the United States. It was the only high school in Rhode Island to make the list.

Fry's Hamlet Historic District is a historic district in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. The district encompasses about 272 acres (110 ha) of a predominantly rural and agricultural landscape. The central characteristic of the district is a cluster of three farmsteads, including four primary dwellings, four barns, and numerous additional outbuildings. Three of the four houses were built in the 18th century, and are associated with the Fry and Spencer families that long farmed this area. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The Spencer–Shippee–Lillbridge House, also known as the Crossways Farm and Walnut Brook Farm, is a historic farmstead at 12 Middle Road in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. The main house is a 2+1⁄2-story timber-frame structure, five bays wide and three bays deep, whose construction date is traditionally given as 1772. There is, however, architectural evidence that it may be older (c. 1750). The building has a small 19th century addition, whose purpose was to provide a staircase for hired farmhands to reach the attic, where their living space was. The downstairs spaces have retained much of their original Georgian fabric, although a pantry space has been converted into a modern kitchen. There are five outbuildings on the 1.3-acre (0.53 ha) property, including a 19th-century wagon shed and horse barn. The house, once the centerpiece of a 225-acre (91 ha) farm, was held by members of the interrelated Spencer, Shippee, and Lillbridge families from its inception until 2001.The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.

The Oliver A. Wickes House is a historic house in Warwick, Rhode Island. The two-story stone structure was built in 1855 in a vernacular Federal/Greek Revival transitional style. The house is the only known period stone house in Warwick, and one of a very small number in the state. It has a four-bay main facade with a recessed entry framed by sidelights and a transom window.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Elizabeth Spring is an historic water source in Warwick, Rhode Island. The spring is mentioned in the writings of Rhode Island founder Roger Williams, specifically in reference to Elizabeth, the wife of John Winthrop, Jr., with whom he visited the spring. The spring is located on an embankment east of the railroad tracks and just north of Old Forge Road at the head of Greenwich Cove. Its location, which is not readily visible from the road, is marked by a circular millstone, on which a marble slab with a now-illegible inscription was mounted in 1858.The spring site was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Gorton-Greene House, often called the Governor Greene Mansion, is an historic house in Warwick, Rhode Island. The house is one of the oldest surviving buildings in the state. The house was built around 1685. According to the Providence Journal, "This 2½-story, gable-roofed structure has a massive stone chimney. The original structure was built by Samuel Gorton Jr., and was later bought by his niece's husband, Samuel Greene. This was the home of two 18th-century Rhode Island governors..." These governors were William Greene, Sr. and his son William Greene, Jr. The latter had a correspondence with George Washington, who was among the house's famous visitors.

The Davisville Historic District is a historic district on Davisville Road in Davisville, Rhode Island, a village in North Kingstown. It encompasses the site of an early 19th-century mill, and several associated buildings, including five houses dating to the 18th or 19th century and a cemetery. It is located on either side of Davisville Road, between the Hunt River and Olde Mill Lane.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The Governor Greene Cemetery, frequently called the Governor Greene Lot, is designated as Rhode Island Historical Cemetery, Warwick, #40, and is a late colonial cemetery located in Warwick, Rhode Island near the East Greenwich town line. It is a family cemetery with the graves of two Rhode Island governors (father and son), and other prominent politicians who are related to them.

Windmill Cottage is a historic house and former windmill at 144 Division Street in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. It was the home of George Washington Greene, a former American consul to Rome and historian. It was purchased for Greene by his friend, the poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.

The Maskerchugg River is a river in the U.S. state of Rhode Island. It flows approximately 6 km (4 mi). There are four dams along the river's length.
