Portland Union Station

Cairns is an outdoor 2008 public art installation by American artist Christine Bourdette, installed in the Old Town Chinatown neighborhood of Portland, Oregon, in the United States.

Driver's Seat is a 1994 galvanized steel sculpture by Don Merkt, installed along the Transit Mall in Portland, Oregon's Old Town Chinatown neighborhood, in the United States. The artwork was funded by the City of Portland's Percent for Art program, the Portland Development Commission, and TriMet, and remains part of the City of Portland and Multnomah County Public Art Collection courtesy of the Regional Arts & Culture Council.

The Hoyt Hotel was a 175-room hotel located in Portland, Oregon. Harvey Dick purchased the hotel in 1941. In 1962, he renovated the hotel and added the Barbary Coast Lounge and Roaring 20s Room, a nightclub that attracted celebrities such as Johnny Carson, Duke Ellington, and Anne Francis. Dick closed the hotel in 1972 due to declining business.

Greyhound Lines operated a bus station and terminal in Portland, Oregon's Old Town Chinatown, until 2019. The building was closed to the public, and as of fall 2020 was slated to operate as a temporarily homeless shelter.

The Albers Brothers Milling Company building is a historic mill and contemporary office building located on the banks of the Willamette River in Portland, Oregon, United States. In the early decades of the 20th century, the German-immigrant Albers brothers built the largest flour and feed milling enterprise on the West Coast, headquartered in Portland and comprising operations in four states. This combined milling, warehousing, shipping, and office facility, built in 1909–1911, is the oldest remaining flour or feed mill in the city. The silos built into the south elevation of the building are painted with representations some of the mill's products as advertisements. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. It was unoccupied at that time, as the milling company had already left. It was converted into an office building in 1989.Albers was also well known in the San Francisco Bay Area for its prominent grain elevator and neon sign located at the foot of the ferry pier ("mole") of the Southern Pacific in Oakland, now the site of the Port of Oakland container ship facilities.

Union Station/Northwest 6th & Hoyt and Union Station/Northwest 5th & Glisan are light rail stations on the MAX Green, Orange and Yellow Lines in Portland, Oregon. They are the first stops southbound on the Portland Transit Mall MAX extension. The Union Station/Northwest 6th & Hoyt Street station is served only by the Green and Yellow Lines, and the Union Station/Northwest 5th & Glisan Street station is served only by the Green and Orange Lines. Originally, from the opening of these stations in 2009 until 2015, the Yellow Line served both, but in September 2015 the then-new Orange Line replaced the Yellow Line at all southbound stations on the transit mall. The stations are built into the sidewalks of 5th and 6th Avenues, with the 5th Avenue platform used by southbound trains and the 6th Avenue platform by northbound trains. They are located next to Union Station, where there are connections to Amtrak and Greyhound buses. When opened on August 30, 2009, the stations were located in Fareless Square (within fare zone 1), which was renamed the Free Rail Zone four months later, but the fare-free zone was eliminated in 2012 when TriMet discontinued all use of fare zones.

The Broadway Corridor twin towers complex was a proposed mixed-use skyscraper complex in the Pearl District of Portland, Oregon. Multi-disciplinary architecture firm William Kaven Architecture proposed the complex as a potential part of the Broadway Corridor redevelopment project. The twin-towered skyscrapers would reach 970 feet (300 m) in height and would have become the tallest building in Oregon, the tallest twin towers in the Western Hemisphere and fifth-tallest in the world. A significant obstacle to the proposal was that current zoning at the site limits building heights to 400 feet (120 m). The proposal was not among the list of three finalists chosen by Prosper Portland (formerly known as the Portland Development Commission) in March 2018.

The 511 Federal Building is a former federal post office that is currently known as the Arlene and Harold Schnitzer Center for Art and Design of the Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA) in Portland, Oregon, United States. PNCA moved into the building in February 2015, after a $32 million remodeling project.Previous occupants of the building included the Department of Homeland Security offices for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, as well as the Department of Agriculture. The building was constructed in 1916–1918 and opened in 1919 after being commissioned by the Secretary of the Treasury, one of the last post offices built under the 1893 Tarsney Act, and cost $1 million. It was designed by architect Lewis P. Hobart. It is located between Portland's Old Town Chinatown and the Pearl District. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, as the U.S. Post Office. The building is six stories tall and has a footprint of approximately 20,000 square feet (1,900 m2). It has a basement and sub-basement, complete with walled off shanghai tunnels.

The Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA) is an art school of Willamette University and is located in Portland, Oregon. Established in 1909, the art school grants Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees and graduate degrees including the Master of Fine Arts (MFA) and Master of Arts (MA) degrees. It has an enrollment of about 500 students. The college merged with Willamette University in 2021.The college has 12 Bachelor of Fine Arts majors and eight graduate programs, a dual-degree MA/MFA option, and a Post-Baccalaureate program within the Hallie Ford School of Graduate Studies. PNCA also provides Community Education in art and design to the local community.

The Oregon Cracker Company Building is a historic structure located in Portland, Oregon, United States. Built around 1897 as a food processing plant, and expanded in 1901, it is one of Portland's finest Romanesque Revival buildings. The building also includes early examples of structural features that were innovative for the time, but which later became common. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The Harlow Block, also known as the Hayhurst Building, is a historic building located in Portland, Oregon, United States, built in 1882. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
