Goerke Field is a stadium in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. It is primarily used for American football and is the home to the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point Pointers, the Stevens Point Area Senior High School Panthers, and the Pacelli High School Cardinals. Until the 1980s, Goerke Field's stands consisted of a concrete grandstand on only the north side, for all fans, with press and coach boxes. By the 1980s, aluminum bleachers were installed on the south side, to accommodate visiting teams' fans, as well as adhere to WIAC standards. The stadium was outfitted with artificial turf in 2008 due to the poor condition of the grass field it replaced, as it's the home playing field for three different teams, leading to the field becoming badly worn down by the end of the football seasons.

The University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point (UW–Stevens Point or UWSP) is a public university in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, United States. Established in 1894, it is part of the University of Wisconsin System. UW-Stevens Point grants associate, baccalaureate, and master's degrees, as well as doctoral degrees in audiology, educational sustainability, and physical therapy. The 406-acre (164 ha) main campus includes the 280-acre (113 ha) Schmeeckle Reserve, 15 academic buildings, and 13 residence halls. UWSP also has two branch campuses located in Wausau and Marshfield. UW-Stevens Point is organized into four colleges with more than 170 undergraduate programs in 80 majors and 90 minors and 18 graduate programs. UW-Stevens Point has a long history of pioneering new educational fields. UWSP was one of the first schools in the US to educate young women in “domestic science” or home economics, the first university in the US to offer a major in environmental conservation, and the first in the world to offer wellness as a college degree program. The UW-Stevens Point Pointers compete in 14 intercollegiate sports in NCAA Division III and have won 13 championships.

Park Ridge is a village in Portage County, Wisconsin, United States and is a suburb of Stevens Point. It is included in the Stevens Point Micropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 530 at the 2020 census.

The David McMillan House is a High Victorian Gothic home in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, United States, which was built in 1873 by a local lumberman. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

The Christina Kuhl House, also known as the Kuhl-Gurath House, is located in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, United States. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. In its NRHP nomination, it was described as "a massive French Second Empire house of frame construction with a red brick veneer." Its mansard roof is covered with tin. Workmen on the house include D. R. Rogers, who papered the walls and ceilings of parlors, sitting rooms, halls and bedrooms, and did all painting; Aug. Lubitz, carpentry work; Henry Vetter, brick and stone work; and Mr. Chanley, plastering. It is an example of Second Empire architecture. It appears to be fairly unusual for having two towers in what appears to be a single-family home application of the style. See: Category:Second Empire architecture in Wisconsin. In 1877, Adam Kuhl built the first house. Kuhl, a German immigrant, was one of the town of Stevens Point's first successful businessmen. The 1860 census revealed that he was a cabinetmaker, indicating that he had only recently moved to the area in the 1850s. In 1867, he founded a brewery that, over time, would produce 600 to 700 barrels of beer annually for the local market, and grow to be a well-known landmark in the region. He died in 1932, leaving his wife Christina, who inherited the house and used it as a source of income, and six children. Christina died in 1974.

Schmeeckle Reserve is a 280-acre (1.1 km2) natural land area located on the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, United States. It contains hiking trails, natural land area, a visitor center, multiple habitats, abundant wildlife and a manmade lake. "The Reserve was created to protect and restore native ecological communities, serve as an outdoor classroom for students and teachers, and provide recreational opportunities to all visitors."

Stevens Point Brewery is a regional American brewery located in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The brewery is the fifth-oldest continuously operating brewery and the third-oldest privately owned brewery in the nation. The company's sales volume among all breweries in the nation increased from 50th in 2009 to 32nd in 2015. Among craft breweries, the company's sales volume ranks 25th in the nation as of 2015. The brewer has won awards several times including the category for American-style amber three times for their Point Amber Classic brand (Gold in 1996; Silver in 2002; Gold in 2012), and three times in the Schwarzbier category for their Point 2012 Black Ale (Silver in 2011; Silver in 2012; Gold in 2013). The brewer has also won awards for other brands in its portfolio.

Iverson Park is a recreational park course that lies on the green circle trail and Plover River in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. It spans over 100 acres, and contains a swimming area, hiking trails, as well as canoe and recreation activities rental. It is also known as the Plover Hills.

The Lyric Theater was a theater on Main St in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. It was the city's other single screen year round theater. The present location holds the city's bus transfer station.

Pacelli High School is a private secondary school located on the north side of Stevens Point, Wisconsin in the Roman Catholic Diocese of La Crosse. The school, named in honor of Pope Pius XII, was founded in 1955 by Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools (Christian Brothers).
