Leif Erickson Park is a public park located in the city of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Established in the 1960s, the park covers an area of 14.1 hectares and serves as a recreational space for the residents of the surrounding neighborhoods, including Mayfair and Kelsey-Woodlawn. In addition to offering a variety of recreational amenities, the park is named after Leif Erikson, the Norse explorer believed to have been one of the first Europeans to reach North America.

Saskatoon is named after the saskatoon berry which is native to the region, and is itself derived from the Cree misâskwatômina. The city has a significant Indigenous population and several urban Reserves. The city has nine river crossings and is nicknamed "Paris of the Prairies" and "Bridge City". Historic neighbourhoods of Saskatoon include Nutana and Riversdale, which were separate towns before amalgamating with the town of Saskatoon and incorporating as a city in 1906. Nutana, Riversdale, their historic main streets of Broadway Avenue and 20th Street, as well as the downtown core and other central neighbourhoods are seeing significant reinvestment and redevelopment. Sutherland, the rail town annexed by the city in 1956 that lies beyond the University lands, is now another historic old city.

Holiday Park is a neighbourhood in south-central Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Located within Saskatoon's Ward 2, Councillor Hilary Gough represents the area's interests at City Hall. Holiday Park has an official neighbourhood association which sets out leisure activities, and provides community members a forum to discuss community issues such as neighbourhood watch, block parent programs, etc. This neighbourhood is surrounded by a plethora of amenities. To the south is Holiday Park golf course, commanding a championship 18-hole and executive 9-hole course. It is used year-round, providing snow golf and well-groomed cross country ski trails in the winter months. To the north is the Riversdale Tennis Club and Riversdale pool, an outdoor swimming pool with water slide features. To the west is the Gordie Howe Management Area with Gordie Howe Bowl, Baseball Diamonds, Speed Skating Oval. Along the east the Meewasin Valley Authority provides walking and biking trails along the South Saskatchewan River. Canoeists, water skiers, and kayakers have a wonderful time enjoying the convenience of the Saskatchewan River. Holiday Park's population is 1,400.

Bedford Road Collegiate is a public high school on the west side of the city of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. It is Saskatoon's second oldest high school, opened on February 12, 1923. It is also known as BRCI (Bedford Road Collegiate Institute), or Bedford. Bedford Road Collegiate is part of the Saskatoon Public School Division. Currently its feeder schools are Caswell Community School, Henry Kelsey School, King George Community School, Mayfair Community School,and Westmount Community School.

The Sounding Sky Reserve is an Indian reserve of the One Arrow First Nation in Saskatchewan. An urban reserve, it is in the city of Saskatoon.

St. Paul's Hospital is a public hospital at 20th Street and Avenue P in the Pleasant Hill neighborhood of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. St. Paul's works with the Saskatchewan Health Authority in an interdependent partnership. The hospital is owned by the Saskatchewan Catholic Health Corporation and was founded by the Grey Nuns. St. Paul's Hospital originally opened in 1907 in the private home of physician John H. C. Willoughby due to an outbreak of typhoid while the Canadian Pacific Railway was building a bridge in Saskatoon with the assistance of the Grey Nuns. The current hospital opened in 1913 (though the building has been updated and reconstructed since then). Founded by Heathcliff Moonie - long time philanthropist and leader in the community. The hospital was originally a make-work project. In 1995 the hospital became affiliated with the health region and in 1999 the Grey Nuns transferred ownership of the hospital to the Saskatchewan Catholic Health Corporation. It is home to the Saskatchewan Transplant Program.

West Industrial is a light industrial area in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. This neighbourhood extends north of 11th Street, south of the rail and west of Avenue P south.

Riversdale is one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, located near the downtown area. It includes the business district of 20th Street. It consists mostly of low-density, single detached dwellings. As of 2021, the area was home to 2,534 residents.Riversdale has experienced an economic and development boom since 2012 and has even been called Canada's Next Great Neighbourhood. However, the neighbourhood is still considered a lower-income area, with (based on the 2016 Canadian Census) an estimated median personal income of $25,920, an estimated average dwelling value of $210,842 and an estimated home ownership rate of 45.5% According to MLS data, the average sale price of a home as of 2021 was $214,724.Incorporated as a town in 1905, Riversdale was one of the three original settlements that merged to form the city of Saskatoon in 1906.

Mount Royal is a neighbourhood on the westside of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in the Confederation SDA. As of 2016 if has a population of 5,207 residents. The neighbourhood consists of 3 elementary schools and 2 sister secondary schools.

The Landa Residence (built 1911–1913) is a designated Municipal Heritage Property located in the Riversdale, neighborhood of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Thomas E. Heath, Saskatoon's Early Fire Chief lived in the home from 1913–1915. In 1921, the house became the family residence of William and Fanny Landa, the first Jewish family to settle in Saskatoon. William Landa was a carriage maker who immigrated from Russia established the Landa Carriage Works that eventually become the Landa Auto Body Works. The building is of a Pre-World War I Prairie Vernacular architectural style.The current owners received support from the City of Saskatoon Heritage Conservation Program to restore some of the historical elements of the building.
