The Monastère du Bon-Pasteur is a multifunctional site in Montreal, Québec. It houses offices, a long-term care home, private apartments, and a historic chapel: the Chapelle historique du Bon-Pasteur. Located at 100 Sherbrooke Street East, the former monastery forms part of the Sainte-Marie neighbourhood. The Monastère du Bon-Pasteur was classified as a heritage building by the Québec Minister of Culture and Communications on 11 July 1979.

Notman House (French: Maison Notman) is a historic building at 51 Sherbrooke Street West in Montreal, Quebec, near the Golden Square Mile. Completed in 1845 for Sir William Collis Meredith, the house takes its name from the celebrated photographer, William Notman, who lived there with his family from 1876 until his death in 1891. The house is the only surviving residence of its era on Sherbrooke Street, and one of Quebec's few residential examples of Greek Revival architecture. It was classified as an historical monument and added to the Répertoire du patrimoine culturel du Québec on December 8, 1979.

Ontario Street (officially in French: rue Ontario) is an east-west artery in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It crosses the boroughs of Ville-Marie and Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve. In the later the street becomes mixed residential and commercial and is known as Promenade Ontario.

St. John the Evangelist is a parish of the Anglican Diocese of Montreal in the Anglican Church of Canada in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, founded by Father Edmund Wood in 1861; its church is well known in Montreal as the "Red Roof Church", which is also the headquarters of St. Michael's Mission. Its orientation is Anglo-Catholic, and it is the only Anglican locale in Montreal to practise this tradition, known as High Church. Solemn High Mass is celebrated on Sundays and feast days and Solemn Evensong and Benediction several Sundays a year. Mass is said daily, in French on Tuesdays. The parish of Saint-Benoît-de-Nursie, a French-language congregation of the Orthodox Church in America, worships in the Chapel of Our Lady of Walsingham in the church's crypt. The church is part of the Conseil du Patrimoine religieux du Québec.The building has starred alongside Nick Nolte in the film Affliction, and in the Quebec science-fiction television series 'Dans une galaxie près de chez vous'. École des beaux-arts de Montréal (The School of Fine Arts in Montreal; EBAM) was an educational institution founded in Quebec in 1922. The Saint-Jean-Baptiste Society was instrumental in its creation. Its former Sherbrooke Street building now houses the Office québécois de la langue française. Faculty of the school include Edwin Holgate as well as Academy Award-winning animator and painter Frédéric Back, who taught there briefly prior to joining Radio-Canada.The building was completed in 1922 as the Commercial & Technical High School, designed by Montreal architect Jean-Omer Marchand, and is located at 3450 Saint Urbain Street (at Sherbrooke Street) in Montreal.In 1969, the school was incorporated into the Faculty of the Arts of the University of Quebec at Montreal.

Le Parterre, originally called Place de l'Adresse-Symphonique, is a public square in the Quartier des spectacles district in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This space in front of the Maison symphonique de Montréal is intended as a performance space for different musical ensembles, as well as a setting for highlighting the architecture of the symphony house.

Excentris was a performing arts center and cinema located on Saint-Laurent Boulevard in Montreal, Quebec. The complex was conceived by Daniel Langlois as a laboratory for digital media production as well as a screening venue. It was opened in June 1999, after two years of construction at a cost of CA$6.2 million, and covered 70,000 square feet (6,500 m2). Excentris ran into financial difficulty in 2009 and was forced to shut down two of its three cinemas. It was revived as a three-screen complex in 2011, with the help of a $4 million loan from Quebec provincial film funding agency SODEC, $2.75 million from the City of Montreal, and $1 million from the Daniel Langlois Foundation.The centre closed its doors in November 2015, citing financial difficulties. Cinéma Parallèle, the non-profit organization that ran the center, entered bankruptcy protection in May 2015.In 2018 the building was sold to Collège Salette for CA$1.6 million.

The Montreal Symphony House (French: Maison symphonique de Montréal) is a concert hall in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The Montreal Symphony House is located at the corner of de Maisonneuve Boulevard West and Saint Urbain Street, on the northeastern esplanade of Place des Arts in the Quartier des Spectacles.Construction began in May 2009 and the concert hall was inaugurated September 7, 2011. Initial plans were to name the 1,900-seat venue "Adresse symphonique", however the Quebec government announced on opening day that the hall would be the "Maison symphonique". The hall is home to the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, the Metropolitan Orchestra, I Musici de Montreal, Les Violons du Roy and other classical music ensembles. On May 24, 2014, the hall inaugurated a $4,000,000 organ (op.3900) by Casavant Frères. The four manual, 83 rank work contains 6,489 pipes. The instrument was a gift of Jacqueline Desmarais in memory of her husband, financier Paul Desmarais.In 2014, SNC-Lavalin sold its concession rights in a deal worth some $77.6 million. SNC will continue to operate and maintain services for the owner, IA Financial Group, until 2038.

The Canadian Opera Hall of Fame is a hall of fame recognizing individuals who have played a role in the development of opera music in Canada. The first honorees were inducted in 1991. Honorees include Clarice Carson and Irving Guttman. The Hall of Fame is directed by L'Opéra de Montréal.

Autodesk Softimage, or simply Softimage () is a discontinued 3D computer graphics application, for producing 3D computer graphics, 3D modeling, and computer animation. Now owned by Autodesk and formerly titled Softimage|XSI, the software has been predominantly used in the film, video game, and advertising industries for creating computer generated characters, objects, and environments. Released in 2000 as the successor to Softimage|3D, Softimage|XSI was developed by its eponymous company, then a subsidiary of Avid Technology. On October 23, 2008, Autodesk acquired the Softimage brand and 3D animation assets from Avid for approximately $35 million, thereby ending Softimage Co. as a distinct entity. In February 2009, Softimage|XSI was rebranded Autodesk Softimage. A free version of the software, called Softimage Mod Tool, was developed for the game modding community to create games using the Microsoft XNA toolset for PC and Xbox 360, or to create mods for games using Valve's Source engine, Epic Games's Unreal Engine and others. It was discontinued with the release of Softimage 2014. On March 4, 2014, it was announced that Autodesk Softimage would be discontinued after the release of the 2015 version, providing product support until April 30, 2016.

De Maisonneuve Boulevard (officially in French: boulevard De Maisonneuve) is a major westbound boulevard located in downtown Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is named after the founder of Montreal, Paul Chomedey de Maisonneuve. It is a one-way street westbound. De Maisonneuve Boulevard is about 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) long and begins on Du Havre Street in the east end (one block east of Frontenac Street in the borough of Ville-Marie), and ends at West Broadway in the city's west end (in the borough of Côte-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Grâce) near Concordia University's Loyola Campus. The street also runs through the wealthy enclave of Westmount, and is cut in two by Westmount Park.

Jeanne Mance Street (French: rue Jeanne-Mance) is a north–south street in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, located east of Park Avenue. It was named in 1914 in honour of Jeanne Mance, the founder of the Hôtel-Dieu de Montréal, which is also located along this street. Jeanne Mance Street spans nearly the entire island of Montreal, but in several discontinuous portions. It starts in the south at Viger Avenue and continues north to Pine Avenue but does not connect to it as it is a dead end. It resumes north of Jeanne-Mance Park, from Mount Royal Avenue to Van Horne Avenue. Another section goes from Beaubien Street up to the Canadian Pacific tracks. It then continues in several discontinuous stretches along the same axis and ends slightly north of Gouin Boulevard. Complexe Desjardins, the Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal, Montreal, arts interculturels and UQAM's President Kennedy building are all located along this street.
