Samukawa Shrine

Samukawa (寒川町, Samukawa-machi) is a town located in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 June 2021, the town had an estimated population of 48,679 and a population density of 3600 persons per km2. The total area of the town is 13.42 square kilometres (5.18 sq mi).

Tokyu Kurogane Industries (東急くろがね工業, Tōkyū Kurogane Kōgyō), or Kurogane, was one of the first Japanese automakers. Remnants of the company were called Nissan Machinery (Nissan Koki) until 1985, and operated as a separate entity within Nissan Techno (日産テクノ) until 2006, building and developing all of Nissan's current engines.

Kōza District (高座郡, Kōza-gun) is a district located in central Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. It currently consists of only one town, Samukawa. The entire cities of Chigasaki, Fujisawa, Yamato, Ayase, Ebina, Zama; and parts of the city of Sagamihara, were formerly part of Kōza District. As of 2009, the district has an estimated population of 47,812 and a density of 3,560 persons per km2. The total area is 13.42 km2.

Initially, it was tentatively called Ebina Kita Junction (海老名北JCT), but the official name was announced on May 18, 2009. It is located near Shake Station on the Sagami Line.

The Former Sagami River Bridge (旧相模川橋脚, kyū-Sagami-gawa kyōkyaku) is the ruins of a Kamakura period bridge over the former course of the Sagami River, located in what is now the city of Chigasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture in the southern Kantō region of Japan. The site was designated a National Historic Site of Japan in 1926, with the area under protection expanded in 2007. It was further designated as a Natural Monument in 2013.
