Great Barton

Conyer's Green is a village in the civil parish of Great Barton, in the West Suffolk district, in the county of Suffolk, England.

Rougham Airfield, formerly Royal Air Force Bury St Edmunds or more simply RAF Bury St Edmunds is a former Royal Air Force station located 3 miles (4.8 km) east of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, England. It is not to be confused with the RAF grass strip on the western side of Bury St Edmunds known as RAF Westley, an area now part of the town itself. The airfield was originally and is now again known as Rougham as it is located north of that village between the A14 and the main railway line between Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich. It was built during 1941 and 1942 with three intersecting concrete runways. The main runway of 2,000 yards was aligned approximately E–W. It saw extensive use during the Second World War.

Moreton Hall is a Grade II* listed building in Bury St Edmunds, a market town in the county of Suffolk, England. It was designed by the Scottish architect Robert Adam and built in 1773 as a country house for John Symonds (1729–1807), a clergyman and Professor of Modern History at Cambridge University. The building was originally known as "St. Edmund's Hill". It was later called "The Mount" and from 1890 "Moreton Hall".

Moreton Hall Community Woods is an 18.5 hectare local nature reserve in Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk. it is owned by West Suffolk Council and managed by Woodland Ways.This site in six separate nearby areas has woodland, grassland, a pond, paths and cycleways.Access points include Kingsworth Road and Symonds Road

Great Livermere is a village and civil parish in the West Suffolk district of Suffolk in eastern England. It is located around four miles north-east of the borough's largest town Bury St Edmunds. Great Livermere also has a village hall located six miles from Bury St Edmunds, where meetings and other functions are often held for the village. Great Livermere has a small population of 226, according to the 2011 census; there are 103 males and 123 females recorded. As seen from the population graph, the population of the village has fluctuated rapidly; from 1850 to 1950 the population decreased rapidly, however since the 1950s the population has steadily risen.

Thedwastre (also Thedwestry) was a hundred of the county of Suffolk, England covering an area of 40,362 acres (163.34 km2). It formed part of the Liberty of Saint Edmund, under the jurisdiction of the abbots of Bury St Edmunds. The hundred is about twelve miles (19 km) in length and six miles (10 km) wide. It is bounded on the west by the borough of Bury St Edmunds and Thingoe Hundred, on the north and east by Blackbourn and Stow Hundreds, and on the south by Cosford and Babergh Hundreds. It is a fertile district with undulating terrain and watered by streams which rise within its limits and feeding the rivers Thet, Gipping, Lark and Brett.It is in the Deanery of Thedwestry, the Archdeaconry of Sudbury, the Diocese of Ely and Liberty of St Edmund. It contains no town of any size, but Bury and Ixworth are on its borders. Listed as Theivardestreu in the Domesday Book, the name derives from "Theodward's tree", presumably a notable tree where the Hundred Court used to meet in Thurston.

The Glen Chalk Caves, Bury St Edmunds is a 1.6-hectare (4.0-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk.Tunnels totalling 200 metres in length radiate from a chalk pit which also contains a disused lime kiln, and the tunnels and kiln are used by five species of bat for hibernation between September and April, and the surrounding vegetation helps to maintain a suitable micro-climate in the caves. The principal species are Daubenton's, Natterer's and brown long-eared bats.The caves are in an area maintained as a nature reserve off Mount Road.

Rushbrooke with Rougham is a large civil parish in the West Suffolk district of Suffolk in eastern England covering the villages of Blackthorpe, Rougham and Rushbrooke as well as Rougham Airfield. Located directly south-east of Bury St Edmunds, in 2005 its population was 1,140. One 'Henry of Rushbrook' was Abbot of Bury St Edmunds from 1235 to 1248. The site of a former stately home, Rushbrooke Hall, is situated to the south of Rushbrooke. Until April 2019 it was in the St Edmundsbury district. The parish was created on 1 April 1988 from Rougham and parts of Great Barton, Great Whelnetham and Rushbrooke.

Thurston railway station serves the village of Thurston in Suffolk, England. The station, and all trains serving it, are operated by Greater Anglia. It is served primarily by local services between Ipswich and Cambridge.

Timworth is a village and civil parish 65 mi (105 km) north east of London and 26 mi (42 km) east of Cambridge in the West Suffolk district of Suffolk in eastern England. Located around two miles north of Bury St Edmunds, its 2005 population was 50. At the 2011 Census the appropriate Postal Code (IP31 1HS) showed the population as being included in Ampton.

Rushbrooke is a village and former civil parish on the River Lark, 20 miles (32 km) north west of Ipswich, now in the parish of Rushbrooke with Rougham, in the West Suffolk district, in the county of Suffolk, England. Until April 2019 Rushbrooke was in the St Edmundsbury district. In 1961 the parish had a population of 58.
