Schattenburg

Feldkirch (German pronunciation: [ˈfɛltkɪʁç] (listen)) is a medieval town in the western Austrian state of Vorarlberg, bordering on Switzerland and Liechtenstein. It is the administrative centre of the Feldkirch district. After Dornbirn, it is the second most populous town in Vorarlberg. The westernmost point in Austria lies in Feldkirch on the river Rhine, at the tripoint between Austria, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein.

The Diocese of Feldkirch (Latin: Dioecesis Campitemplensis) is a Latin Church diocese located in the city of Feldkirch, Vorarlberg, in the Ecclesiastical province of Salzburg in Austria.

Feldkirch Cathedral (German: Dompfarrkirche St. Nikolaus) is a Roman Catholic cathedral dedicated to Saint Nicholas in the city of Feldkirch, Vorarlberg, Austria. It is part of the old town and is the largest Gothic church in Vorarlberg. It has been the cathedral of the Diocese of Feldkirch since it was established in 1968.

Feldkirch railway station (German: Bahnhof Feldkirch) serves the city of Feldkirch, in the Feldkirch district of the Austrian federal state of Vorarlberg. Opened in 1872, it forms the junction between the Vorarlberg railway and the Feldkirch–Buchs railway. The station is owned and operated by the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB).

Vorarlberghalle is an indoor sporting arena located in Feldkirch, Austria. The capacity of the arena is 5,200 people (2000) and was built in 1977. It is currently home of The VEU Feldkirch Ice Hockey Team

Feldkirch Sickhouse (Siechenhaus), Feldkirch, Vorarlberg, Austria, is listed an Austrian monument of cultural significance. The group of two buildings was erected in the late 16th or early 17th century. Far outside the city of Feldkirch a leper house was founded in the 14th century. The former building might be destroyed in the year 1557. Since April 1985 a youth hostel is located in main building. The outhouse is now a shelter for the bus stop and the entrance for an underpass of the Reichsstraße.

Altenstadt is a district of Feldkirch, a city in the western Austrian state of Vorarlberg. In Altenstadt is the biggest and most important school of Feldkirch. The church was removed in the 1960s. Next to the church is a big abbey. In the East of Altenstadt is the 751m high hill Amberg.
