La Prairie (provincial electoral district)

Auteuil is a district of Laval in Quebec, Canada. It is delimited in the north-west by the Rivière des Mille-Îles, north-east by Saint-François, south-east by Duvernay, south by Vimont and south-west by Sainte-Rose.

Saint-Philippe (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃ filip]) is a city located in Roussillon Regional County Municipality in the Montérégie region of Quebec, Canada. It was established on July 1, 1855. The population as of the Canada 2021 Census was 7,597. It's the birthplace of Pierre-Adolphe Pinsonnault, first Roman Catholic bishop of London.

Collège Jean de la Mennais is a French private mixed secondary school on the South Shore of Montreal, Québec, Canada at 870 Chemin de Saint-Jean in the municipality of La Prairie. As of 2007, the school had about 1750 elementary and high school students. Collège Jean de la Mennais was once directed by religious brothers, although today it is directed by a secular administration. The faculty is mixed between secular and religious personnel. On the school grounds there is a private cemetery which holds the graves of brothers connected to the school.

Fort Laprairie was constructed in 1687, and served as a military fort in New France until 1713. The fort was attacked by Major Peter Schuyler on August 11, 1691, but resisted to the invaders. The British and Dutch colonists were commanded by Major Pieter Schuyler. The site where the fort had once stood was designated as a National Historic Site of Canada in 1921. It is now a residential area and park (Place La Mennais) located on rue Émile-Gamelin. A cairn for second battle is located at Chemin de la Bataille Nord and Chemin de Saint Jean

La Prairie is an off-island suburb (south shore) of Montreal, in southwestern Quebec, Canada, at the confluence of the Saint-Jacques River and the Saint Lawrence River in the Regional County Municipality of Roussillon. The population as of the Canada 2011 Census was 23,357.

Candiac station is a commuter rail station operated by Exo in Candiac, Quebec, Canada. It is the outbound terminus of the Candiac line. The platform is only ten metres (30') long.

Saint-Jacques River is a river in southwestern Quebec, Canada that drains the Saint Lawrence Lowlands. It flows in a general south to north direction, from the area around Saint-Jacques-le-Mineur (in Les Jardins-de-Napierville) to its mouth in the Saint Lawrence River, at the border between the cities of Brossard and La Prairie.

Brossard—La Prairie was a federal electoral district in Quebec, Canada, that was represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 1997 to 2015. As of 2011, its population is 128,001.

Brossard station (known as Rive-Sud during early development) is a Réseau express métropolitain (REM) station in the city of Brossard, Quebec, Canada. Located approximately 200 metres (660 ft) south of the intersection of Autoroutes 10 and 30, in the uninhabited Y section of Brossard, the station is the only elevated station on the South Shore segment and is operated by CDPQ Infra; it serves as the southern terminus of the REM and the eastern-most subway stop in Canada.The station is equipped with a large regional bus terminal for Exo buses, as well as 2,948-space parking lot. The station is adjacent to the operations and maintenance centre for the REM. It is accessible via de Rome Boulevard. The station opened on 31 July 2023.

Quartier DIX30 (also simply known as Dix 30 in French, and Distrande in English) is a commercial lifestyle centre located in Brossard, Quebec. It is considered Canada's first lifestyle centre and occupies an area of 2,746,063 sq ft (255,117.6 m2) in the L section of Brossard. Quartier DIX30 was designed to emulate an urban or downtown shopping experience with boutiques and to meet the needs of suburban dwellers living on the South Shore of Montreal. Its name (meaning "TEN 30 District" in English) refers to its location: at the west corner of the intersection between Autoroute 10 and Autoroute 30. Quartier DIX30 is served by Réseau de transport de Longueuil buses and light metro station Du Quartier.
