Prosfygika Stadium (Greek: Γήπεδο Προσφυγικών, Gipedo Prosfygikon) is a football (soccer) stadium in Patras, Greece. It is named after its first refugees that arrived from Asia Minor in 1922, a region now part of Turkey, following the Greco-Turkish Population Exchange. From 1925, it is used for the teams Thyella, AS Apollo and Olympiacos and Aris. From 1923, after the creation of Olympiacos, the stadium was constructed with owned properties inside the residents of the refugees near Agia Foteini. The construction were all straws which cleaned the refugees and their face of work became a field in which it is the oldest in Patras and one of the oldest in Greece, the stadium of Olympiacos (no relation of Olympiacos in Piraeus but it has the same logo) which said until 1964 the stadium became a part of the EPS Achaia. In this field had played all of the teams in Patreas and participated in the second, third and fourth national divisions. Their first game happened on October 17, 1927, in a friendly match, Olympiacos Patras - Olympiacos Athens 4-1 (halftime score: 3–0). The field was used for sheltering during the Greek Civil War in 1947 and were used until 1984 and built subdivisions with the power of EPS Patras.

Agios Andreas (Greek: Άγιος Ανδρέας, meaning "Saint Andrew") is a neighbourhood in the south-central part of the city of Patras, 2 km from the downtown core. Agios Andreas is linked with the Akti Dymaion and the GR-9/E55 (Patras - Pyrgos - Kyparissia) and Korinthou Street. The OSE's SPAP line is 300 m from the old shoreline and 500 m from the new shoreline by the expanded Port of Patras.

It is dedicated to the First-called Apostle of Christ, Saint Andrew.

The Metropolis of Patras (Greek: Ιερά Μητρόπολις Πατρών) is a metropolitan see of the Church of Greece in the city of Patras in Achaea, Greece. The see traces its origins to its patron saint, Saint Andrew, in the 1st century. Historically, it has been one of the two pre-eminent sees of the Peloponnese along with the See of Corinth. The see has been part of the Greek Orthodox Church (the Patriarchate of Constantinople until 1833, the Church of Greece since then), except for the period where the city was part of the Principality of Achaea and a Latin see was installed.

Tabachana (Greek: Ταμπάχανα) is a neighbourhood and a settlement in the city of Patras. The name is of Turkish origin named during the Ottoman period and it means tanning, Virsodepsia (Βυρσοδεψεία) in Greek. During the Ottoman period it had tanning spots in the city and when the Greeks came as well as from other countries. Today it is a quiet neighbourhood in Patras with the homonymous square (Filiki Etaireia).

Pantokratoras (Greek: Παντοκράτωρας, meaning "Christ Pantocrator") is a neighbourhood in the city of Patras, Achaea, Greece.

Evraiomnimata (Greek: Εβραιομνήματα, meaning "graves of Jews") is a neighbourhood in the city of Patras, Achaea, Greece. In the past, in the area, there was the cemetery of the Jewish community of the city.

Georgiou I Square (Greek: Πλατεία Γεωργίου Αʹ) is the central square of Patras, Greece. The square is named after King George I of Greece. It is crossed by Maizonos, Korinthou and Gerokostopoulou streets. The neoclassical Apollon Theatre is situated on the northeast side of the square.

On April 19, 1991, a bomb exploded in the centre of Patras, Greece, killing six citizens and the terrorist who was carrying the bomb.The bomb was carried by Ibrahim Hasikeh, a 26 years old Palestinian terrorist, who allegedly belonged to a group linked to Abu Nidal's network. The target of Hasikeh is believed to be the British consulate, at the junction of Votsi and Othonos Amalias streets. But Hasikeh, either because he wanted to do a final check of the explosive device or because there were people in the consulate who might suspect him or due to some mishandling of the bomb, entered the apartment building on Votsi Street, 14, and headed to the elevator. There, probably trying to change the time of the bomb's explosion, which consisted of 11 kilograms of dynamite, the bomb exploded dismembering Hasikeh and killing six people who were in a company courier on the ground floor of the apartment building. Outside the building was waiting Hasikeh accomplice, Asar Al Nobani, 29, who disappeared after the explosion. The six citizens who were killed due to the explosion were: George Papasotiropoulos, 58, Vassilis Kyriakopoulos, 53, Yannis Kavkas, 25, Olga Stagalinou, 25, Dimitris Seitanidis, 23, and Georgia Verra, 24.Police officers who checked the debris after the explosion found pieces of the Hasikeh student ID and one of his shoes and soon managed to identify him. A few days later they arrested Al Nobani and two other Palestinians, Baykarat and Awad Khalil. In the autumn of 1995, Al Nobani and Baykarat Khalil were sentenced to 25 years in prison while Awad Khalil in three years. The court also ordered their immediate deportation after serving their sentences.Every year on April 19, a memorial service is held in Patras for the six dead from the bomb explosion on Votsi Street.

Designed by the famous German architect Ernst Ziller, it was completed in 1872. The Apollon is located east of Georgiou I Square, one of Patras' popular squares. The theatre is a micrograph of the La Scala in Milan and is the oldest existing enclosed theatre of the same era. The Apollon Theatre has been the main stage of the Patras Municipal and Regional Theatre since 1988, and can hold up to 300 people.

Agios Andreas Hospital (Greek: Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Πατρών "Ο Άγιος Ανδρέας") is a hospital in Patras, Achaea, Greece. It is the second largest hospital in the city of Patras and one of the largest in Peloponnese with a total capacity of 400 beds (188 beds in the Internal Medicine sector and 192 beds in the surgical sector). The hospital occupies 5 buildings of which the 3 are situated close to each other. The main multi-storey building of the hospital (built in 1973) was struck by an earthquake in 2008 and it is completely restored. Additionally, the central building is upgraded with new medical and hotel equipment. The renovated 7-storey building was finally inaugurated in July 2017 after 3 years of delays. This multi-storey building houses the departments of ophthalmology and otorhinolaryngology (7th floor), plastic surgery and urology (6th floor), internal medicine/pathology and cardiology (3rd,4th,5th floor) paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology (1st and 2nd floor). In 2011 the construction of a new wing (two-storey building) was completed and today in houses three clinics: The surgery clinic, the pathology clinic and the orthopaedic clinic.
