Skyhaven Airport (ICAO: KDAW, FAA LID: DAW) is a public-use airport located three miles (5 km) southeast of the central business district of Rochester, a city in Strafford County, New Hampshire, United States. The airport is owned and operated by the Pease Development Authority, with fixed-base operator (FBO) services provided by Skyhaven Aviation Services. It is included in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021, in which it is categorized as a local general aviation facility.Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, Skyhaven Airport is assigned DAW by the FAA but has no designation from the IATA.

Rochester is a city in Strafford County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 32,492 at the 2020 census, making it the 6th most populous city in New Hampshire. In addition to the downtown area, the city contains the villages of East Rochester, Gonic, and North Rochester. Rochester is home to Skyhaven Airport and part of Baxter Lake. Rochester was one of New Hampshire's fastest growing cities between 2010 and 2020.

The Rochester Commercial and Industrial District encompasses the civic, commercial, and industrial heart of Rochester, New Hampshire. Oriented around the city's Central Square, the 6-acre (2.4 ha) district includes the city's major civic buildings, most of which are Classical Revival structures from the early 20th century, a number of commercial buildings dating as far back as the square's formation in the 1820s, and several late 19th-century industrial facilities. The district extends primarily along Main Street, from Bridge and Union Streets to Winter and Academy Streets, and includes properties extending along Wakefield and Hanson Streets, as well as other adjacent streets. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Gonic is a neighborhood in the city of Rochester in Strafford County, New Hampshire, United States. It is located around a dam on the Cocheco River, 2 miles (3 km) south of downtown Rochester. The community is separated from the downtown area of Rochester by New Hampshire Route 16, the Spaulding Turnpike. New Hampshire Route 125 passes to the west of the community, leading south towards East Barrington and the Lee traffic circle. Gonic has a separate ZIP code (03839) from other parts of Rochester.

The Rochester Opera House is a 750-seat theater in the city hall of Rochester, a city in Strafford County, New Hampshire, United States. It has the unique architectural feature of a fully moveable floor, perhaps the last of this design in existence.

Spaulding High School is a public co-educational high school in Rochester, New Hampshire, United States. It is part of the city of Rochester School Department and is located at 130 Wakefield Street. Spaulding High School was built in 1939, and the addition of the Richard W. Creteau Center was completed in 1990. Along with the addition in 1990, the original building was extensively renovated. The school has a student population of more than 1,500 students in grades 9–12. Students are offered a broad curriculum, with a strong focus on high academic standards in all areas. Academics are complemented by a full range of extracurricular activities including drama, sports, music, and vocational clubs and planned social events. Spaulding is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and is approved by the New Hampshire Department of Education. Spaulding's mascot is the Red Raider. In 2015 the mascot came under public scrutiny for being an offensive portrayal of Native Americans, and in 2020 the Rochester-based group Allies United for Change urged the high school to change the mascot.

The Richard Hayes House is a historic house at 326 Gonic Road (New Hampshire Route 125) in southern Rochester, New Hampshire. Built in 1787, it is a rare surviving Federal period house in the city. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Our Lady of the Holy Rosary is a Catholic church in Rochester, New Hampshire, United States. It is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Manchester. The church is located at 189 North Main Street in Rochester.

The Jenness Farm is a historic farm property at 626 Pickering Road in Rochester, New Hampshire. It consists of about 190 acres (77 ha) in Rochester and adjacent Dover, and has been in continuous ownership by the Jenness family since 1837. It was, at the time of its 2001 listing on the National Register of Historic Places, one of just ten farms in the city with intact land and buildings.

East Rochester is a neighborhood within the city of Rochester, New Hampshire, United States, located on the banks of the Salmon Falls River which separates Maine from New Hampshire. Home to approximately 3,600 residents, the community is located 3 miles (5 km) east of Rochester proper, and is one of two villages (the other being Gonic) within city limits. The area was a farming community which developed into a small textile and shoe manufacturing mill town during the Industrial Revolution. The Abenaki people called the area's river Newichawannock, meaning "river with many falls", which in the 19th century became the source of water power for two mills. The first was called the Cocheco Woolen Manufacturing Company, with the second smaller one built upstream and called the White Mill. Between the 1880s and 1920s, "Eastside" (as it is referred to by locals) achieved its maximum growth. It was served by the Nashua & Rochester Railroad, which later became part of the Boston & Maine Railroad. Called "Rindgemere", the depot was located on Autumn Street. But during the Great Depression, the mills began to decline, and finally folded in the 1970s. With its principal employers gone, East Rochester slipped in its quality of life. More recently, however, the district has enjoyed a rebirth. Located near major routes and industrial centers, its small village ambience has attracted new residents, and several beautiful Victorian buildings have been restored. East Rochester gets a good percentage of local business from just across the border in Lebanon, Maine. East Rochester consists of a main street with several small shops and a shopping center known as Shoreyville Plaza, named after the original settlement in the area. Also on Main Street are two churches and a small library. In recent years, the old fire station (1902 till the early 1980s) has been converted into a museum, as fire services are now obtained from the main station in Rochester. A three-story block located on Main Street once housed the post office and a clothing store until the early 1980s, when the post office moved into a two-story brick block further north on Main Street. The area no longer has its post office, but East Rochester still has its own ZIP code (03868).

The Little River is a 21.3-mile-long (34.3 km) tributary of the Salmon Falls River in the U.S. state of Maine. It rises from streams in York County, flows southwest through Lebanon, and reaches its confluence with the Salmon Falls River in Berwick.
