Jenness Farm

The Isinglass River is a 15-mile-long (24 km) river in Strafford County in southeastern New Hampshire, United States. It rises at Bow Lake in the town of Strafford, but is also fed through its tributaries by Ayer's, Nippo, Round and Long ponds in Barrington. The Isinglass flows east to meet the Cochecho River in the southern corner of Rochester. The river is part of the Piscataqua River watershed.

The County Farm Bridge was a historic covered bridge spanning the Cocheco River in Dover, New Hampshire. A Howe truss bridge, it was built about 1875 to serve the adjacent county farm complex, and was destroyed by fire in 1981. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. The bridge site now has a pedestrian bridge.

The Strafford County Farm is a complex of buildings in Dover, New Hampshire, historically associated with the management of the poor and criminals of Strafford County. A significant portion of the farm is now taken up by the modern Strafford County Jail, but several historic buildings survive on the campus, which were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981. These include the 1881 almshouse and the 1907 county jail.

The airport is owned and operated by the Pease Development Authority, with fixed-base operator (FBO) services provided by Skyhaven Aviation Services. It is included in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021, in which it is categorized as a local general aviation facility.Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, Skyhaven Airport is assigned DAW by the FAA but has no designation from the IATA.

WBYY (98.7 FM; "Frank FM") is a radio station broadcasting a classic hits format. Licensed to Somersworth, New Hampshire, United States, with studios in Dover, New Hampshire, the station serves the Seacoast Region of New Hampshire and Southern Maine. The station is owned by Binnie Media.

WPKX (930 kHz "Fox Sports 930") is a commercial AM radio station licensed to Rochester, New Hampshire, that broadcasts a sports radio format, largely supplied from Fox Sports Radio. The station is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc. and serves the Portsmouth-Dover-Rochester media market, also heard in Southern Maine. WPKX broadcasts at 5000 watts around the clock from a transmitter off Route 108 in Rochester. To protect other stations on 930 kHz, WPKX uses a directional antenna at night.

The Richard Hayes House is a historic house at 326 Gonic Road (New Hampshire Route 125) in southern Rochester, New Hampshire. Built in 1787, it is a rare surviving Federal period house in the city. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Gonic is a neighborhood in the city of Rochester in Strafford County, New Hampshire, United States. It is located around a dam on the Cocheco River, 2 miles (3 km) south of downtown Rochester. The community is separated from the downtown area of Rochester by New Hampshire Route 16, the Spaulding Turnpike. New Hampshire Route 125 passes to the west of the community, leading south towards East Barrington and the Lee traffic circle. Gonic has a separate ZIP code (03839) from other parts of Rochester.

Forest Glade Cemetery is the oldest cemetery in Somersworth, New Hampshire. Set on 22 acres (8.9 ha) on Maple Street, it is a good example of the popular mid-19th century rural cemetery movement. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017, and the New Hampshire State Register of Historic Places in 2021.

Bellamy Reservoir is a 333-acre (135 ha) impoundment located in Strafford County in eastern New Hampshire, United States, in the town of Madbury. An eastern arm of the lake extends a short distance into Dover. The reservoir serves as the primary water supply for the city of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Its outlet is the Bellamy River, a tributary of Great Bay, a tidal estuary connected to the Atlantic Ocean by the Piscataqua River. The dam was built in 1960 to supply water to Portsmouth and the Pease Air Force base.The reservoir is classified as a warmwater fishery, with observed species including largemouth bass, chain pickerel, horned pout, and black crappie.
