Anchorage Gateway is a 101 m (331 ft) tall, 29-storey residential skyscraper in Salford Quays, Greater Manchester, England. It was designed by Chapman Taylor, with Jon Matthews Architects as the delivery architect. As of March 2023 it is structurally topped out, the fourth-tallest building in Salford and the 17th-tallest building in Greater Manchester.

Oasis Academy MediaCityUK is an academy in Salford Quays, Salford, Greater Manchester, England. The co-educational school for 11-16 year olds is part of the Oasis Community Learning multi-academy trust group. The buildings date from 2012. It has had a turbulent history- but it has stabilised, and is classed by Ofsted as a "Good" school.

Salford Quays tram stop is a stop on Greater Manchester's light rail Metrolink system. It is located beside Salford Quays, on Metrolink's Eccles Line. It opened as part of Phase 2 of the system's expansion, on 12 June 1999.

Real Radio XS was a radio station brand operated by Real and Smooth Ltd (formerly GMG Radio) based in Salford, Greater Manchester, broadcasting a variety of peak-time news, rock music and talk output. The Manchester-based version of the service was broadcast to Greater Manchester on FM, and to a number of areas on DAB: the closure of the MXR regional multiplexes ended most digital carriage of the service, with the last remaining digital transmission, to Yorkshire, ending in 2014. The other Real Radio XS service, covering Paisley and Renfrewshire on FM and central belt Scotland digitally, became Xfm Scotland in 2014 following Global's purchase of the franchise, before closing entirely in 2015. The Manchester frequency now transmits as XS Manchester under the control of Communicorp UK, whilst the Scottish license was re-advertised by Ofcom and now carries Nation Broadcasting-owned Nation Radio Scotland.

Harbour City is a tram stop on the Eccles Line of Greater Manchester's light rail Metrolink system. It is located in the Salford Quays area, in North West England, and opened on 12 June 1999 as part of Phase 2 of the system's expansion.

X1 Media City is a residential development in Salford Quays, Greater Manchester, England. When fully built, the scheme will comprise four identical 85 m (277 ft) tall, 26-storey high-rise towers, each containing 275 apartments (1,100 in total). Towers 1 and 2 have been constructed, completing in 2017 and 2019 respectively. As of February 2023, Tower 3 is under construction and Tower 4 is yet to start. The towers were designed by architects AHR. As of 2023, Towers 1 and 2 are the joint eighth-tallest buildings in Salford and the joint 28th-tallest buildings in Greater Manchester.

Cross Lane railway station is a closed station on the Liverpool to Manchester line which was located on Cross Lane, Salford. It was one of the original stations on the Liverpool and Manchester Railway when it opened to traffic in September 1830, though initial facilities were very basic. It was later rebuilt by the L&MR's successor, the London and North Western Railway in more substantial fashion and by the end of the 19th century had platform faces on all four lines that passed through. British Railways closed the station to passenger traffic in July 1959 and to goods in January 1963. It was subsequently demolished and no trace now remains – much of the former site is now occupied by the M602 motorway, though the original L&M line (now double track once more and electrified since 2013) still passes through on its way west towards Eccles and Liverpool Lime Street.

Exchange Quay is a tram stop on the Eccles Line of Greater Manchester's light rail Metrolink system. It is located in the Salford Quays area, in North West England, and opened on 12 June 1999 as part of Phase 2 of the system's expansion. The stop serves the Exchange Quay office complex and the surrounding area. It is also often used as a stop for Old Trafford football stadium.

Salford Quays is an area of Salford, Greater Manchester, England, near the end of the Manchester Ship Canal. Previously the site of Manchester Docks and Salford Docks, it faces both Manchester and Trafford across the canal.

Ordsall is an inner city suburb of Salford, Greater Manchester, England. The population at the 2011 census was 14,194. It lies chiefly to the south of the A57 road, close to the River Irwell, the main boundary with the city of Manchester, Salford Quays and Manchester Ship Canal, which divides it from Stretford. Historically part of Lancashire, Ordsall was the birthplace of the bush roller chain and is home to Ordsall Hall.

Wharfside is a Metrolink tram stop on the Trafford Park Line. It is located on Trafford Wharf Road, next to the Manchester Ship Canal and close to Manchester United's Old Trafford football stadium. It was originally proposed that the station be named Manchester United. It opened on 22 March 2020.
