Midway is an unincorporated community in Meade County, Kentucky, United States.

Matthew E. Welsh Bridge is a two-lane, single-pier cantilever bridge on the Ohio River. The bridge connects Kentucky Route 313 and Indiana State Road 135, as well as the communities of Brandenburg, Kentucky and Mauckport, Indiana. It is 3,098 ft (944 m) long and was built at a cost of 5.5 million dollars, financed mainly by the State of Indiana. The truss portion of the bridge is continuous across two 725 ft (221 m) spans. Construction of the bridge began in August 1964 and the bridge was opened to traffic on November 19, 1966. The bridge was named after Matthew E. Welsh, the 41st governor of Indiana. Although 90% of the bridge is within the Commonwealth of Kentucky, it is owned and maintained by the State of Indiana.

Brandenburg is a home rule-class city on the Ohio River in Meade County, Kentucky, in the United States. The city is 40 miles (64 km) southwest of Louisville. It is the seat of its county. The population was 2,894 at the 2020 census.

Mauckport is a town in Heth Township, Harrison County, Indiana, along the Ohio River. The population was 81 at the 2010 census.

Meade County High School (formerly Brandenburg High School) is a public high school in Brandenburg, Kentucky, United States. It was established in 1914, and is part of the Meade County Schools district. It serves the county, except for people living on Fort Knox; people living on Fort Knox are instead zoned to the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), which operates Fort Knox Middle High School.

Brandenburg United Methodist Church (formerly Brandenburg United Methodist Episcopal Church) is a historic church at 215 Broadway in Brandenburg, Kentucky. It was built in 1855 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.The church received a rear addition in 1893.

The Jones-Willis House, at 321 Main St. in Brandenburg, Kentucky, was built around 1920. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.It is a concrete block house built by and for the Jones family who operated a concrete plant located next to the house. It was deemed "architecturally significant as the best representation of a concrete dwelling in Brandenburg. The dwelling exhibits qualities of excellent workmanship and design."

The Brandenburg Commercial District, on Main St. in Brandenburg, Kentucky, is a 3.5 acres (1.4 ha) historic district which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. The Edward Yeakel House, at 116 Decatur St. in Brandenburg, Kentucky, was built around 1885 to 1890. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.It is Queen Anne in style. It is two-and-a-half-stories tall, and has a three-story tower. It was built for Edward Yeakel, a merchant in Brandenburg. It was bought in 1920 by a Dr. Baxter, who used it for a medical office and as a residence. The property was deemed "architecturally significant as the outstanding example of the Queen Anne style in Brandenburg."The listing included a second contributing building, which might be either a one-story root cellar built of limestone and brick, or a one-story frame carriage house.

The Meade County Jail, in Brandenburg, Kentucky, was built in 1906. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.It is a two-story common bond brick building with a two-story brick ell. It overlooks the Ohio River.It was the third jail of Meade County. The first was a log building built in 1826. The second was an 1854 brick building. Bricks from the second jail building were used in the construction of this 1906 building.Now known as Jailhouse Pizza, the building was featured in an episode of Ghost Hunters in 2016 and an episode of The Paranormal Journey in 2017.

The station is currently owned by local Chris McGehee under the licensee Meade County Communications, Inc. The station's studios and transmitter facilities are located on KY 313 (Bypass Road) on the southwest side of Brandenburg.

Ekron is a home rule-class city in Meade County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 175 at the 2020 census.
